The hotel was in a safe neighborhood and provided good service. The continental breakfast was fine as was the condition of the rooms.

The front desk was very friendly & very helpful. Our first room didn't have a refrigerator so they switched us right away with no problem. They is some remodeling going on but that didn't effect us at all. Rooms are kind of small but well kept.

The manager on duty when we checked in was very accommodating. That was helpful because it took us three rooms to get one that was satisfactory. The first one was good except the bathroom light was not working, we then moved to a better location, but it smelled like someone had smoked in the room and then covered it with perfume. It was rated good on an Iphone app. It was late getting into town so we took it. It was cheep, but after getting to the room it looked and felt cheep.

This hotel was decent. I was expecting a little more than what it was. The room was tiny, and so was the bathroom. The fitness center was made up of 3 pieces of equipment, and the people behind the desk were rude and expected you to know where everything was. The only thing good about this hotel is that the beds were comfortable.

nice rooms, good breakfast, good van service.

We stayed at the Econolodge with reservations for room with fridge/microwave and two beds. We was placed in room with king bed and nothing else. Then we had shuttle take us to club about a mile down the road, when calling for pickup was told by new shift driver that he didn't pick up there. Had to call cab at 2 am for ride.

Ok hotel for a quick overnight trip. Check in process was quick & staff was very friendly.

Got a great room rate for the Econo Lodge at the last minute. The Hotel itself feels average. I enjoyed the continental breakfast but at the same time the eating area was small and cramped. What really bugged me was noise from the highway which could be heard all night even with the window closed and curtains drawn. The hotel is alright. We were just staying one night so we didn't have high expectations. It was fairly clean and we just needed a place to sleep and shower. The only issues we had was that the room is very small. We have a teenage son and daughter who don't like to share a bed so we bring a twin size air matress but there was not enough space for it. […] Also the hot water ran out very quickly. the room wasn't clean at all. The linens were old and the sheets made me itch. I had to wrap up in a blanket I had brought from home just to be able to sleep. The carpet looked like it had sat under water at some point in time and was filthy.

This hotel was more than sufficient for a business trip to Charlotte, esp. for the price. I stayed two nights in a suite, which, I imagine, is quite a bit nicer than their regular rooms. The first night was fine. The second night, however, the people above started raising absolute cain about 1:30 a.m., and it went on until about 3:30 a.m. Thumping, […] jumping, loud voices, yelps, hollering. It lasted forever and kept people in several rooms around it from sleeping. Plus, it sounded as if could be dangerous to intervene, because the yelling at times sounded angry. Drunkenness was definitely a factor. I kept expecting to hear a gun go off. I thought it took management an unacceptably long time, and more than one visit, for them to quiet the residents or -- even better -- kick them out (which they didn't do). Almost no sleep was had that night. Otherwise, the place was clean and well-kept for an older-looking hotel. I stayed at this hotel after finishing up a business trip in the CLT area. The hotel was fine and fit my needs very well. I had a rental car so I didnt take advantage of the airport shuttle. Had an unexpected layover in CLT and booked the room from the airport. Called the shuttle and it was there in 15 minutes. Quick check in and out, friendly staff and drivers. I'd stay again if I find myself stuck in CLT again. Not the Hilton but a nice, clean hotel in a pinch!

I was almost 1 hour waiting for the shuttle, from the airport to the hotel, needed 3 telephone calls to reinforce the shuttle service.

I must have had an allergy to a cleaning product or something in the room, stayed on a Thursday and on a Sunday and both times the next morning I was stuffed up and miserable. Other than that the staff was super friendly and it is right next to a neat waffle house that is super cheap and so good! Free airport shuttle is a bonus as well. Bathroom need paint. No iron or board in room til we asked for one. Continental breakfast was lacking. Good beds, clean, quiet.

Room was disgusting with no COLD water. Room 347 My wife almost scalded herself.

It's always disconcerting to have a hotel receptionist be rude to you. The lady at the front desk watched me come in, let me wait a good 5 minutes before finally, while looking at her computer screen tell me "I'll be with you soon". She didn't do this until she noticed me taking the managers business card that just happened to be sitting on the desk. […] Apart from that, we noticed broken glass in the parking lot and noticed also that there seems to be a lot of low cost housing around the hotel. After wearing myself out checking reviews of surrounding hotels I gave up and gave Econo Lodge a shot. My room was clean, I was safe, I was able to use their business center with free printing, the breakfast was fresh and wonderful, and I had no issues with staff. Very nice room & very clean

I stay here every year - for either a family reunion or a death in the family. This was the worst stay ever. The hotel staff was not friendly at all. When I checked in...no hello, I greeted the desk hostess...no response. Told her I had a reservation, she asked for my ID, credit card etc...nothing more. Then I was told the room # and just told it was […] "out back"...no direction to which side of the hotel the room was located or anything showing how to get there from the lobby. Ice machine didn't work..so myself and another guest asked if there was another location for ice...the front desk assistant did not reply...she just walked in the back (somewhere out of sight behind the desk area), brought out 2 clumps of ice...that would never fit in a cup or glass...and said nothing. The light over the bathroom sink went out early morning..my flight was early, so I had to use the dull room light to try and put on makeup. When I checked out...same thing..not a friendly person. I went to the desk and said hello, I didn't receive a "good morning", "how was your stay?"...nothing...just a "okay you're set". Ac was noisy other than that great stay

We missed a flight and had to stay overnight. I booked the hotel online from the airport because they were close and had a shuttle. However, it was hard to find the local phone number for the hotel to request a shuttle pick up. They weren't on the board of hotels that the airport has posted in the baggage claim area. This hotel is always very clean when i stay here & have never had a problem. I only had one issue the wifi in the room was so weak it kept losing signal. I finally just gave up. Im not sure if it was the room I was in or not but I have never had this problem before. As for everything else it was great.

This place is not what it seems in the picture. Very dirty, the bathrooms where very filthy. The towels where wet and I used and never replaced before our check in. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

Charlotte must have been about 95 degrees at night when I stayed here. There was 0 a/c in the lobby area where you sign in, and 0 in the halls. Then, I get to my room, and the a/c was turned off. It took at least an hour for the room to cool down. Other than that, the stay was satisfactory.
