Bakersfield Marriott at the Convention Center - เบเคอร์สฟิลด์

The hotel was really nice! The only problem I had, is that I requested a double bed and they only had a single with a fold out bed. It was very clean!

The hotel and it's staff are lovely. The back of the hotel is a parking lot away from a train track and stop. We were awoken in the wee hours of the morning by sounding train whistle blasts. Having a room on the front of the building may or may not help.

The buffet is overpriced. The wait staff is slow and not attentive. They left a dirty plate and extra dirty coffee cup on my table despite passing it several times. I've had better service at Denny's and there were only two tables with people. The wait staff hovered around the front entrance and did little to make our breakfast enjoyable. When I checked in I was first greeted by two very friendly and helpful agents at the front desk. Very nice girls! My room was modern and clean and the location was very convenient. Later I had drinks at the bar which boasted a happy hour that went to 7PM. The bartenders were very nice too. The people were very friendly, helpful and accommodating! It was clean. One thing we would have liked...a small fridge in the room. Also the heating vent made a great deal of noise when turning on and off...startling us as we were falling asleep. We did change rooms after two nights and it was slightly better.

Our room was stinking..bathroom was stinking..no ventilation..i felt as if a rat died in there..i am not sure if this was how it is in other rooms too..

I had an excellent experience at the Bakersfield Marriott; right next door to the concert venue (Rabobank Arena), it was the perfect location. Quality for cost was superior however a bug (kind of looking like roach) fell out of our information book in our room. Bed very comfortable, nice linens. Room service was excellent- we had drinks and a sandwich but menu had enough choices for any time of day. . Bar and lobby area very attractive, Poolside area great for our party. Clean & quiet, close to downtown for business. Be sure to ask for a room facing the street. Easy access to freeway 99 yet, far enough away so there is no freeway noise.

The room was great -- large, clean, and comfortable. The only problem was the poor internet connection. It was virtually unusable. If that issue is overcome, this is a great hotel.

The hotel room was ok. Beds were comfortable, lots of pillows, flat screen tv. But a view of the parking lot and the bathroom fan didn't work and the drain couldn't be stopped up in the tub. Overall experience was just average.

Great hotel staff. Friendly and helpful. Stayed 7 nights. Lots of things needed repairs. Ice machine out of order. Coke machine out of order. Washing machine out of order. Water pipe burst 1 morning leaving no hot water. All things considered - an ok stay.

Considering I had to go to Bakersfield on a medical emergency regarding my stepson, the hotel was in great proximity to the hospital. I booked the hotel on my way to Bakersfield via smartphone. When I arrived at the hotel I was pleasantly surprised at the appearance of the lobby and spacious bar area. The pool was open late, which was nice. We make it a point to stay in Bakersfield Marriott whenever the road trip allows. Very comfortable and reasonable. The one thing I would like to see at this hotel is to have later pool hours. It is very hot in Bakersfield and it is very refreshing to use the pool after dark. Overall, another great experience at this hotel.

Everything was great except I had two issues. Firstly, the tv reception wasn't great. It wasn't terrible but there was some confusion as to what channels were received and channels going in and out. Not a big issue but in a town like Bakersfield where there isn't much to do - tv is key. This is one of the better Marriots I've stayed at. Beds are very comfy and staff is warm and welcoming.

After staying there we left a dvd box set in the room. I called the next day and it took them 3 hours to "look" for it and call me back. They said they called the maid and she said she never saw it....of coarse. We know we left it right on the dresser but thats what we get. The hotel was ok. The food is excellent. I highly recommend you order the brisket. They will run out. The problem is there are no good restaurants close by and the location is next to the coventioncenter, court house, jail, police station etc. I am always a bi nervous about bring next to so many police cars. I'm used to staying in very cheap places, so the Marriott was a nice upgrade for me. The only downside, IMO, was the fact that the parking lot and people in the halls were audible, but that's not really the fault of the hotel. We really enjoyed our recent overnight stay at the Bakersfield Marriott. The hotel was very new and clean, and is centrally located. We splurged and ordered room service, which had a good sized service fee, however the food was very good and the convenience was worth it for this particular trip. Next time, we will skip the service fee and just go downstairs […] to the restaurant on site. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the room was spacious. I was disappointed that our room had no refrigerator, which I guess I expected for a nicer hotel like this. Another drawback was the lack of an exhaust fan in the bathroom. Stayed in April, 2011 on business. Internet was down for most of my 3 night stay. Overall room seemed clean except for mildew on shower curtain, yuck. No full length mirror so had to hope I looked ok. Air conditioner sounded like a jumbo jet about to take off. Train runs behind hotel and train honked horn at 5:00am. Wasn't to happy when we got to the hotel and we requested 2 queen beds and got 1 king bed and a very lously hard sofa sleeper with no bedding for it.

Overall, I was very happy with the stay. I do wish that breakfast was included, as it usually is at the places I stay. I was very disappointed to discover that there was no coffee machine in my room (all the other stuff was there). I know it must have been broken and in the process of being replaced. GREAT PLACE!

GREAT PROPERTY.GOOD FOOD,REASONABLE PRICES.EASY IN AND OUT OF PROPERTY.HOTEL STAFF GREAT.GREAT STAY,WOULD DEFINETLY RECOMMEND.

and convention center. It was also a very secure hotel. You had to use your room key to activate the elevator so only guests with rooms could get onto the upper floors. This was really good with weddings and other functions going on during our stay.

Great hotel for robobank arena goers

The Marriott is clean , well-appointed, near Amtrak, next to the convention center, downtown businesses the Play House theater and the court building. It's an excellent business travel location.

We were passing through Bakersfield and not expecting to spend much time there. For the price of a cheap motel we got a very nice luxury Hotelroom with king size bed and great service.

I stayed for one night for business. The bed was very comfortable with lots of fluffy pillows. I ordered room service (which was excellent) and fell asleep while watching the flat screen TV. The next morning I was within walking distance of my meeting. If I have to come to Bakersfield again I will stay at the Marriott.

We stayed at the Bakersfield Marriott to attend a family member's wedding. All associates were very friendly and informative. We also stayed for breakfast the following morning and was pleasantly surprised at the selections and the low price for the breakfast buffet. Only problem was a loud patio party that went on past 2:00am that kept me awake I contacted the front desk around 2:00am and was told that security personnel were going to move the people indoors, but when I looked out the window I saw a waiter with a tray of items serving the group.
