It was everything that I needed in a hotel. It had a great breakfast, free internet and parking, convenient to shopping, and the room was adequate.

Well-equipped room: fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee-maker, dishes, cutlery, iron, hair dryer. Good bus connections. 25-minute walk from downtown. Home away from home.

TERRIBLE, we were not able to sleep at all, the floors (ours and above unit) squicked and its loud, so annoying, we can hear the people on the next unit talking even when they use the bathroom, so as the outside noise like cars and people passing by, that it seems like windows are wide open all the time. We can fell the outside cold air coming in through […] the window AC. It was a very unpleasant stay that we rather have slept in our car if only we had blankets and warm clothing with us. Went down to the front desk around 3AM to ask for ear plugs but i was given a bandage instead. We stayed at room 217. The room cleanliness was okay as well as the continental breakfast. Pros - accessible, free parking and along the Victoria Day parade route. Cons - carpet not clean, beds very old squikie and not comfy, and staff at front desk was arrogant and not helpful in providing directions

the hotel was very convenient for our trip to Victoria and the Highland Games in Topaz park. Very comfortable and a good value for our money. Actually a much better hotel than we expected. I would definitely stay there again. The little coffee shop is excellent and I would eat there even if I was not staying at the hotel. The hotel itself was very nice and had modern amenities. The staff were not always friendly and would barely acknowledge you when you would enter. I always like staying at a place that has friendly customer service. :)

The rooms are advertised as having Queen sized beds--they were actually doubles. Staff were friendly and helpful. Noisy location. Breakfast was mostly pastries

My spouse and I stayed in this hotel for business, and it was a typical cheap hotel, but our major stipulation was finding a reasonably priced hotel with free wifi. We were sorely disappointed. The wifi signal was extremely weak and wavered between barely-there to nonexistent. We attempted several times to connect while it showed up, but it kept prompting […] for a password. The one the clerk gave us was not working. When we contacted the desk, they were very unhelpful, and said to keep trying to connect. Well, with the code not working and the signal repeatedly disappearing, you can't keep trying anything when there is no signal to connect to! We ended up having to use the data on our phone to connect to the internet for the duration of our trip. we were very pleased wiith our accommodations. Liked the little kitchenette area where we could prepare eats for ourselves.Staff was very helpful when we had problems with our computer. Easy access to and from the airport which was very important to us! Enjoyed the surroundings and the good weather which mother nature provided!

You get what you pay for with this stay. While the service is adequate, every thing else fails. The elevator is questionable, the entire building has a hint of cigarette smoke, the neighborhood is sketchy, and it's on a busy road. Topping it all off, there's a bar patio just below that gets pretty rowdy at night. Worst sleep I had during a six day road […] trip. Quite excellent for the price, clean, well-kept, convenient. The hotel had a liquor store, a pub and a fantastic diner for breakfast. It wasn't fancy but for that kind of money it was perfect.

Not right downtown, but close to a number of attractions. Rooms are samll but clean, continental breakfast an added bonus. Good place to stay if you are not spending all your time in the room.

The room was clean but that's about it. The front desk staff was awesome! The elevator was barely working, the pillows were literally paper thin, the bed was rock hard. The twin type heating/cooling systems they have in the windows are convenient but are not sealed in and there fore you hear the traffic all night (main road) and smell the exhaust (stop […] light right outside our window) from the traffic most of the night. This was our second stay there and while the cleanliness was impressive, the staff was so friendly and professional, we appreciated the continental breakfast too. I thought the bed was difficult to fall asleep on, however my girlfriend didn't seem to have a problem. Other than that, free breakfast and a clean room made it good.

Great location, basic continental breakfast - but good, quiet, clean room, friendly and helpful staff. Elevator could be bigger. This was our second stay and we will stay again. Excellent service.

We have stayed here 3 - 4 times in the past and chose it again. The rooms are small but tastefully decorated. Breakfast is included. In addition there is a good restaurant in the hotel. This is not for the people who want a luxury experience. It's for those who want good value for their dollar. The Super 8 laid out a very nice continental breakfast every morning including Christmas morning. It would have been nice to have a small fridge and a microwave in the room. Overall, a very nice place to stay at a very reasonable rate.

Good price. Location is decent. Friendly Staff. Also the room is very clean. The condition is not that great: Wall is kinda thin and there are holes on the bedcover. But no any strange smell. I was there with my wife and two little kids. We had a good night sleep w/o any complaint.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. They gave us impression we were very welcome, advised on transportation and shopping, looked after our bags for several hours after we checked out. The hotel is perfectly located, walking distance to downtown. Convenient for getting to the airport by a bus. And the in-suite kitchen, of course!

Room and service was satisfactory. Continental breakfast could be improved though. View from window overlooking lower roof was not a pleasant site as litter really needed a cleanup. Did mention this to clerk when checking out...Otherwise certainly satisfied with Hotel.com rate!!!

When we arrived the hotel, we requested to switch the room to facing the back. The staff is very nice and cooperative, the room is quiet and clean, the 2 double beds are firm, but the bathroom is small, so small that it wont fit a garbabe bin inside. Breakfast has a variety of bread, orange, juice, cereal, coffee and de-caf coffee. Internet is free […] but a bit slow, lots of free parking. Our room was very small with oversized chipped and broken tv cabinet that we could bearly get by without having to turn sideways to get to the other side of the room. The floors were dirty with chip crumbs and popcorn along the sides of the beds. Our bed were made up very sloppy, and there was other peoples hair found in both bed sheets ond on pillows. […] The cleaning lady was rude and unhelpfull. The elevator was so small that we couldn't fit a babystroller and our luggage in one trip, we had to take 2 trips to our room. We were kept awake by the people walking in the room upstairs because the floor squeaked and cracked so loudly. The bathroom door squeaked loudly. Very enjoyable. Staff were very friendly. In house restaurant was good plus there is a family restaurant across the street. Traffic noise was at a minimal and almost non existent at night. The room was very clean and comfortable. the only drawback was that there wasn't a balcony.
