Holiday Inn Express Hamilton - แฮมิลตัน

I booked with Holiday Inn hoping for quality and value. The hotel was located at the end of an industrial street, the type of street you hope your car doesn't break down on as the atmosphere is shady. The hotel itself was old and weathered. A dozen teenagers with 40 ounce bottles in each hand staggered out as we returned to our hotel at 11:00, shouting […] and drunk. Our room was was non-smoking but smelled of stale smoke, was cool and we tried to warm it with the old electric baseboard heater but the racket was too loud to keep it on for long. We phoned front desk to request blankets but were told we would have to go down to get them ourselves, we didn't as we were already in bed, so we untucked our bedding and folded it over double to keep warm. Very nice breakfast. Difficult to find without a GPS

Overall our experience was positive. Morning breakfast was varied with hot and cold offerings. After the race there was bottled water,juice, fruit and cereal bars. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Our last night spoiled it all. We were wakend by a very loud TV in the adjacent room. We called the front desk at approximately 1 a.m. to ask that the […] TV be turned down. We heard the telephone ringing next door, at which time the volume was reduced moderatley. I called again (after no sleep) and spoke to the front desk. They explained that a guest cannot be asked to turn off the TV. We understand that however, we are also guests.. We have asked for a return call from one of the managers. We have not received any calls to date. With all of the runners in the city for this event we would also have appreciated a shuttle to the start/finish. Our cab rides to the Copps Coliseum averaged $30. I expect more from a Holiday Inn. This place has the best breakfast it rocks. Staff are very nice and took care of a noise complaint post hast. One of the best in this price range.

Right off the highway, easy to get to, plenty of breakfast option and clean.

This hotel is older and below average. I arrived late my first night and found the toliet preplugged. When I called the front desk I was given two options: move rooms after just getting settled or unplug it myself. Really? Plung someone elses toliet. I was not impressed with this hotel for several reasons. There were TOO many speed bumps in the parking lot; very hard to find (not easy to see the signs on how to get to the hotel); have seen nicer and better bathrooms; no extra blankets or comforter avaliable in the room to use as there is only the 2 sheets on the bed and was cold while sleeping; […] had difficult with the room key; noisy door (slaming) from room beside my room carried into my room; the size of the bed didn't seem like the one that I had requested. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

I was charged twice for the same duration

The Holliday Inn Express was quite clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. It was very quiet too which I certainly appreciated. It was a bit out of the way and hard to find at first but that could well be because we were not 100% familiar with the area but all in all a great experience and would go there again. Marie

it was a sports tournament weekend, kids were running and shouting in the hallways. Breakfast was good for a continental style. Beds not comfortable.

The front desk areas and hallways have been renovated, but the rooms have not. The rooms were clean and comfortable though. Buffet Breakfast was good. If you just need a clean place to stay for the night, this place is just fine.

The hotel is hidden behind a semi run down strip mall. The rooms had a old musty smell to them, the bed was squeaky, and the room color (pasty yellowish look) is somewhat depressing. However, the rooms are clean, and spacious. The ice machine is on the 1st floor hidden behind mgr's office. I would suggest this hotel more for business trips only.

it is a very clean hotel, friendly staff and cozy rooms, there is a continental breakfast for all guests but if you miss it like we did there is a Golden Griddle attached to the hotel and they have a wonderful breakfast buffet! the hotel rooms are impecably clean and i loved that there was a handle on the wall by the tub to get in and out of the tub […] and gripper in the bottom of the tub so you don't slip, overall a great hotel and i would recommend it! อ่านเพิ่มเติม

I knew this was going to be a great hotel. When I came in the door there were cookies and coffee waiting and a fire in the fireplace and people relaxing and enjoying the large screen TV and the ambiance. There is a computer waiting to be used, not hidden away in some dark room. The service was fast and the room was everything I wanted, clean, modern, […] and a great bed. Both my husband and I have bad backs and we both slept soundly all night on a bed that was neither hard nor soft but just right. And what a great shower in the morning. NO humidity control in rooms, entire stay was +70% humidity (outside) & our sheets & clothing were LITERALLY damp. Asked front desk whether there was any way that they could control this & they simply said "No." It was extremely difficult to sleep and for someone with allergies that were well-controlled, this stay sent them spiraling out of control! […] Doors to rooms did not meet floors & when other guests were out in the halls making noise at 3a.m., we were easily woken. There was a garbage/waste management facility right behind the hotel & with the temperatures & humidity being what they were, the lobby and area outside of the hotel smelled horrible. This surely drew in the flies, which were everywhere during breakfast at the hotel. The staff were very nice & the hotel was extremely close to the highways that we needed to take to get to & from our event-which was very nice. I was very disappointed in the overall condition of this hotel. It met all the basic needs, but the corridor carpeting was filthy with stains and there was an odor akin to fish in the public areas. The rooms themselves just seem a bit old and in need of updating with furnishings and such. This hotel is ideally located to meet my needs. It is clean comfortablr and the staff is great very helpful.

The hotel was pleasant and comfortable for the price point. The price point however does invite large group stay (teams for example). Our last night was a sleepless and loud experience with several lacross teams staying in the hotel. There did not seem to be adequate security nor supervision of the floors. Hotel confortable et propre. Bien situé pour visiter les chutes du Niagara et Toronto. Salle de petit-déjeuner ordinaire. La première nuit, beaucoup de bruit avec va et vient incessants dans le couloir durant 3 heures (prostitution?). Geste commercial du manager suite à notre plainte.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Decided to stay a little longer. Loved the pancakemaker in the breakfastroom. Not luxurious, but everything is there.
