Comfort Inn Waukegan - วอคีกัน

Extremely nice employees Room was a little old but comfortable and clean. I would stay again.

Management and personnel working the counter were very helpfull. My son is stationed at the Great Lakes navy base and needed proof of a reservation faxed to the base before he could get leave. The manager said he had never gotten that request before but was more than happy to accomodate us (after the reservation was finally found). The morning after […] we checked in, we realized that the door latch on our room had never actually locked - it had malfunctioned. So the door was never actually locked that night. We also realized that the carpet was soaked near the outside wall of the room, probably from snow melt. When we brought the problem of the lock to the front desk they promptly put us in another room and we had no further problems. Overall we had a good stay. Aside from being stuck in a smoking room, the condition of the room was nothing to write home about. There was a big spider web in the corner of the ceiling. Also, the bathroom was kind of shabby -- scratches in the toilet bowl and a crack or scratch of some sort in the shower. It's not like this was a super cheap hotel and that's to be expected.
