Top of the World - The city itself becomes the show at this 1,000-foot-high revolving restaurant. Classic steakhouse favorites are served, as well as innovative items such as lobster tails with red Thai curry and seared Muscovy duck.
Fellini's Ristorante - An impressive variety of authentic, affordable Italian classics is served up in this casual restaurant. Wall-to-wall paintings in 3 different rooms allow you to dine with views of Rome's Spanish Steps, the bridges of Venice, or the rugged landscape of Sicily.
Plate Buffet - Grab a made-to-order omelet for breakfast, or sample a variety of Asian and American flavors for lunch and dinner. Be sure to stop by Sunday morning for a champagne brunch and return later in the day for a seafood buffet.

There's no shortage of ways to get the adrenaline pumping from the Stratosphere's 1,149-foot tower. For group rides, you can join up to 16 people on the Big Shot and be catapulted up and down the tower at rollercoaster speeds. At X-Scream, a giant teeter-totter rolls you and other riders back and forth with harrowing views of the streets 900 feet below. If you want to go it alone, take a leap off the 108th floor with SkyJump, billed as the highest controlled freefall in the world. Surcharges apply.
For a different kind of thrill, there's Bite Las Vegas. This sensual topless revue, performed 6 nights a week, combines vampire dancers with classic hard-rock music. The Stratosphere's bars and lounges feature more laid-back entertainment. At Level 107 Lounge, you can sip happy-hour martinis while listening to a jazz trio or downbeat DJ. Located at the top of the tower, Air Bar has nightly DJs that spin until early morning. You can stay close to the casino action at the Back Alley Bar or C Bar. Watch a game on the big-screen TVs, or chill out with weekend DJs.

"Free Access to Tower"

"The Stratosphere - great hotel."
Loved the fact that the hotel was a little bit out from the main busy section. The more expensive hotels seemed to have loads of people waiting for lifts, waiting for restaurants etc. The meal in the rotating restaurant was absolutely gorgeous (not cheap but worth it)... The Frankie Moreno show, half price for hotel guests was superb... we paid 10 dollars […] extra for VIP seats, worth it, felt very special. Saw other more expensive shows, didn't rate as good as this. The bus Deuce is every 15 minutes right outside the hotel and is a 24 hour service. The booze in the hotel is expensive, especially wine, lovely wee liquor shop across the road... Roxys cafe in the hotel food great. Had a birthday there, and the waiters sang songs etc... Denny's across the road has free internet, internet in hotel is 11.99 PER ITEM...PER DAY... Denny's also has specials 2, 4, 6, 8 dollar menu... well worth. Fantastic holiday, and very pleased with the hotel. Don't miss Fremont Street for live bands Saturday is the best day. Very good price, but the location is forgettable, as it is at the end of the Strip. You can easily recognise the other side of the dime ( not everything as shiny at it looks like). "Too far from everything!!"
We lived the hotel. Would be 4.5 stars in my book if it weren't so far away from everything. You have to either catch a cab or ride the bus down the strip to go almost anywhere. Gets expensive! Other than the distance, we loved the hotel. DO NOT eat at the buffet in the hotel. Food looks fancy but is DISGUSTING! Tastes like cardboard. Enjoyed the stay, rooms were clean and comfortable. Only thing we didn't like was we took the shuttle from the airport and then had to tote our luggage across the hotel, through the casino to get to the registration desk. Like many hotels in Vegas, lots of things, like internet, are over and above the cost of the room, plus you get dinged the resort […] fee. The hotel was great lots of places to eat inside the casino and it has a little mall inside. "What a deal"
In Vegas for a trade show I wanted something close to the convention center. Got an amazing rate (even with the $15 add on from the hotel). The room was a standard motel style room, nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. Take advantage of the free visit to the observation deck for hotel guests. Really just got the room to be close to the airport and get a shower. Unfortunately when I got there I had to pay a mandatory additional fee for the upstairs access I guess which I had absolutely no time to use so that was a bit annoying. This hotel is terrible. They advertise low rates, but layer on mandatory fees that will at a minimum double the rate they quote you. The hotel is located in a dangerous part of town, not convenient to anything, and has the feel of a foreign country. There is NOTHING above average at this hotel. There is no reason to stay here. I would advise against […] even visiting this hotel or casino. Hotels.com generally does a very good job of estimating costs, but they missed by over 100% here. "Great priced hotel on the Strip"
The Stratosphere Hotel is a great priced hotel on the Vegas strip. Everyone was extremely friendly and the hotel was very nice. View from the spire was amazing and even the security officer was friendly enough to point out and talk about all the sites from way up on top. Only complaint is the location. The Stratosphere is located as far north as you […] can go on the strip. "Don't go walking around any further north of the hotel" was the advice given by everyone. The good news is that Vegas has amazing buses that run all over for very cheap. Pay the $8 for a 24 pass or $20 for a three day pass and it picks you up right outside the doors, stopping at every hotel. Great hotel/casino. Satisfactory brunch buffet, fairly priced. Roxy diner has good food at all hours. Second floor shopping mall area was okay. Mexican food, Chicago dogs, Tattoo parlor, gym, McDs. UFC store was staffed by rude individuals. Valet was perfect, fast, very convenient. Room was suitable for extended stay. Clean. Elevators fast and timely. Not being a high roller this hotel was ordinary. Be prepared to leave lots of money from coffee to gambling. There was nothing wrong with this hotel but it was far enough from the strip and really nothing much around it. I would not stay here again.
