"Wonderful hotel"
Wonderful location in downdown near everything. Rooms were great and the staff couldn't be more helpful. My coworkers couldn't believe how nice the hotel was.

Friendly customer service and right downtown, but i was never told about a daily parking fee, and that my room temp. was regulated.
"The hotel for easy access"
The hotel was great the only thing you should be aware of is there is very LIMITED parking. The parking is $11 a day and you have to walk quite far. We didn't mind but someone that needs extra help might consider not staying here.

"Great choice"
We stayed at this hotel for the Taylor Swift concert. The location is great for anything you could want to do in GR. The room was beautiful. The whole hotel was in great condition and it was definitely worth the price.

"In the Heart of it all"
Perfect spot to stay downtown. Everything is close and within walking distance even in winter. Breakfast was yummy. Will stay again! Pool was not bad...a bit strict about adults drinking around pool area.
"Perfect for a getaway weekend"
Nice, clean and close to everything. Right across the street from the BOB and access to the sky walk, so getting to the theater is a breeze and warm in the winter.

Everything about this hotel is great....we had one issue - stayed in room 408 and when entering it smelled like mildew - mold. The decor was nice and up to date...have no idea what was causing it but it was definitely there. Would stay again but would want to check out the room first....

"The Courtyard by Mariott Hotel in Grand Rapids, MI"
This hotel was a great place to stay. It was very close to Van Andel Arena which was my whole intent, once I checked into the hotel I didn't have to get back in my vehicle until it was time to go home. Very convenient!!

"Convenient location"
Hotel is right downtown and in the middle of everything for our stay. Within walking distance bars and resturants we visited. Short drive for a day at the zoo with the kids. We changed rooms at check-in and the staff was very helpful with this. However, was not happy to find out that every time they swipe your debit card that authorizes a hold on funds. "It was clean..."
... but how often do you need to sign an agreement to NOT have a party in your room? How bizarre. I guess considering it is near a university they may have had past issues... but as a 38 year old couple it certainly felt strange.
