"Great Stay near the Airport"
Wonderful Hotel Service. Breakfast was adequate- waffles! Room was very clean and beds comfortable. However, doors are paper thin and we kept being woken up from our next door neighbor's doors closing.

The only issue I had was that the Kitchenette was NOT available as promised by Hotels.com. The hotels.com website showed Kitchenette in the amenities list. "helpful staff"
The Clarion staff were friendly and helpful. I used the free shuttle for a local trip saving me $25 taxi fare. I thought the room was very clean although the comforter was stained. That's a bit off putting. I think this hotel would be a great place for a family with young children. My room had a door to join w/ the adjacent room making a "suite". Every […] time I travel, I look at the bathrooms for easy bathing of a little child. This hotel has square shaped bathrooms, with the sink in the corner. It also has toilet seat covers on each toilet. Why is this important? Well, without a toilet seat cover, there is nowhere to sit while bathing a child. Also, a square shaped bathroom w/ the sink in the corner means there is standing space for two people or enough space for an adult to get dressed. There isn't any chance something could fall into the toilet because of the seat covers. (Can you tell I've had this happen?) There is an outdoor pool, which isn't perfect for Michigan weather. It didn't matter to me. They offer a free shuttle to and from the airport as well as a 3 mile radius. The surrounding area are national businesses like Target, Bed Bath and Beyond and Babies R Us. This hotel is conveniently located to Grand Rapids. The facility was clean and well maintained. The food service was very good as it was cooked on site. The evening complimentary meal was very good. hte break fast was good as well I willl be staying here again
"Unmade room - intense cleaning solvents"
First night was okay. Second night we returned to our room @ 11PM and it was not cleaned or made-up. Front desk said they showed it as serviced - it was untouched. We were given another room which reeked - clearly something had been cleaned pretty intensely and the room was not aired. Third room was okay. Each night required a return to the front desk […] to have keys reactivated. ALl in all a less than perfect experience for my sister and myself - both of us travel extensively - in GR to see our mother. "Clarion Inn, 28th St.Gr. Rapids-great place, price"
The Clarion Inn on 28th St. in Grand Rapids was clean & pleasant, with great service and a convenient location off I-96. I will gladly stay there again and recomend it to others.

"Convenient stay"
We stayed only one night while taking in the events in Grand Rapids. It was convenient and very comfortable. Breakfast was more than adequate and very tasty.

"not the greatest"
The beds were too high, there were no tissues in the room, the glasses were dirty, and the the elevator was creepy and weird.

"Stayed for convience to catching a flight early AM"
This was the cleanest hotel I have been in. We also liked the convience of having a shuttle to the airport early in the morn. (We had a 5:45 flight) . The breakfast area looked very nice, but we were leaving too early to enjoy it. There was coffee, bagels and muffins available to us however.

For the type of hotel, these were very comfortable beds. I have typically have to go a step up in price to get something as comfortable.

Super bed and nice and quiet. Great breakfast and friendly people.

the room and everything in it was just great, no problems what so ever. the breakfast was poor at best, they need to take lessons from other clarion's we have been at.

"Great Room, Great Deal"
This is a great hotel. The rooms are wonderful. They have LCD tv's and very confortable beds. They even have down pillows. Even a fridge and microwave. Pool is outdoors.

In der Nähe des Hotels hat es mehrer gute Restaurants, sowie ein Shopping Mall. Sehr gefallen hat uns auch, dass es über einen Outdoor-Pool verfügt.
