Comfort Suites Mission Valley SeaWorld Area - ซานดิเอโก

Second time we stayed. Kids love the rooms,pool, and breakfast. Everything was very clean, and we won't stay any where else when we visit San Diego. Close to the zoo.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was basic but okay for the price paid. Only con was that the suite was a bit "choked up" but otherwise adequate.

Very well located for shopping centers and restaurants. I loved the continental breakfast they offered.

the hotel was in a decent location and the front desk clerk was very accomodating but it was downhill from there. The furniture is old and moldy and it smells that way. You would probably be better off sleeping in your car.

Cons: The hotel is in front of the freeway. Make sure your room is far from the noise. Horrible smell in the room. Lots of dust below the bedrroms and at the room corners. No safe in the room. You have to pay to park your car. Breakfast was suposed to end at 9:30 but at 9;00 they begin cleaning and making you unconfortable to be there. Pros; Good location, […] confortable bed. The room was not clean and the blanket on the bed was dirty and mold in the shower. The bed had lots of pillows but all were foam, very uncomfortable. For the price it was okay, but I would rahter pay alittle more and have a clean room..

It's not luxurious but has basic comforts. We stay here because it is close to SDSU and because it allows us to have the separate room so one person can sleep if the other wants to stay up to watch TV. Their sofa beds are not great but not horrible.

Nice clean hotel, but I wish they would of posted that the cable service was not working properly or the they no longer have a game system for the kids. They were the main reason why I chose this hotel

reserved a kid's suite, however, they had no "such room" as pictured on the website w/kid's bunkbed

The hotel is nice ...the room was very big the only problem we had was the shower not working they came to fix it but all night we heard running water ..also took us about 20 min to check into the hotel

Stayed to watch football game . Nice hotel would stay here again

The hotel was clean, and close to all major attractions. The breakfast was great, and the heated pool was amazing! The room was very small, and the pull out sofa bed was not comfortable at all.

I booked this hotel in spite of some of the negative comments. I found this place to be in line with my expectations - it was a great location, near to the San Diego Zoo and SeaWorld. It was convenient as there was a ton of places to eat and a Target on the other side of the freeway. The room was a little cramped and the layout was not convenient - […] the french door cut off air circulation to the main room as the A/C was located in the walled off section. If you run the vent fan they have, it gets pretty noisy. There is very little space in the room, so if you have little ones like I do, it can feel claustraphobic at times. The breakfast was pleasant, a nice warm limited offering of waffles, eggs and so on. Don't expect too much and you'll find this a good place to stay at, especially if you will be away most of the day. Only complaints I have is that when I checked in, I was told by the front desk that everything was paid for but when I checked out, they charged me for parking. The other complaint I had is that they deactivated my key card a day before I checked out, which forced me to have to go back to the front desk and have them give me new key cards. We arrived in the midst of a power outage. The staff was so congenial and helpful, they almost made it FUN! Our compliments to all for the way they handled a difficult situation.

the room is already small, after seeing all kinds of left over, bottle water, left over snack in the closet, asking for a crib, but never call back, when call, they need to check again, i think they focus on getting the $7 for parking permit more than providing a decent customer service. will i suggest this hotel again? This hotel is very close to the zoo, the beach and the gaslamp district. The room was clean but a bit cramped with 4 of us. We had a king bed and the bunkbeds. The air conditioner smelled funny so we asked to be moved. They moved us immediately and were very nice about it. The breakfast was pretty good even though the eggs were powdered. I am not one of those people who write reviews or complain about things.. But this hotel warranted a review. We originally asked for a crib for my 4 month old. I called 5 times on the day of to try to confirm that I would receive one... I could never get past the recording. It kept routing back to the menu. I decided to take my own pack and play and […] I am glad I did.. There wasn't a crib in the room even though we requested it. The bathroom was disgusting... Reddish brown streaks on the door frame.. Pee on the floor and on the back of the toilet seat... Hair all over the floor... Need I go on? I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt even though I had read reviews about it being dirty... I wish I would have just bit the bullet and gone with a 4 or 5 star hotel... The location was great, but who cares about that when you are worried that your sheets aren't clean and you don't want your two year old to touch anything in the bathroom because it looks gross.. The staff was very Good. The hotel is in a great location, rooms nice and comfortable. I travel to San Diego 4-5 times a year, and will stay there again.

Did not have microwave oven or refrig - was not aware that they had to be "rented". Also not happy with paying a fee daily to park. Carpet had spots and stains.

Overall the hotel was nice. It was easy to get to Sea World and the Zoo and beach. It looks a bit run down on the outside but the room was comfortable as well as the bed.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I called ahead of time to advise hotel I would be a late arrival when I arrived I was not given the room I booked and all they would say was sorry. The next day I had to re-load all my luggage into my car because they were gonna change my room. When I got to the room it was right but it had a funny smell and no […] lock on the door. Not to mention the maids knocked once at 8am in morning and walked in and woke up my whole family. Then the maids set up a command central outside my room and were very loud. The pool was nasty. The breakfast was beyond nasty and not staffed well at all. No matter when we went to get food there was very little options. When I went to check out they advised me of the parking fee to park on there grounds. There was no room for big cars ... I had a suburban and well hell to park... I would not stay here! The room they gave me was on the first floor. After getting settled, I checked the bedroom window, which faced the parking lot. The lock was broken and could not be locked. I asked for another room, but when I opened the door, I found it had not been made up from the previous night. We were not expecting much. We got to the hotel late (11 PM). We were planning on leaving early, so the only thing we were expecting was a decent place to sleep. The hotel is perfect for the money. It's not walking distance to downtown or seaworld, which I don't think a lot of the hotels are.. But it is very conveniently located, just 5-10 minutes drive to anywhere. The room was clean and comfortable. The separate bedroom and living area, added extra comfort when privacy is needed. The faciltiy and location were good but the layout of electrical room I did not like and found to be annoyance. We rented 2 rooms 1 King w/ Bunk Beds and 1 King with a living room. These 2 rooms are exactly the same size. For our kids we really needed something a little bigger - it would have been nice to have the bunk bed room AND a living room option. Having said that - for the price - its not a bad place to stay. Decent hotel, VERY friendly staff. Finding a parking spot is tough, but the real issue begins when you finally find a spot. The parking stalls are very difficult to get in and out of. The area is quite nice and you are surrounded by plenty of shopping and eating.

very disappointed that I have to pay seven dollars for the parking.

The hotel location was convienent for our trip to Sea World and was surrounded by good restaurants and the mall near by. Our bathroom was dirty when we arrived and had no hand towels or wash cloths. The room is a great concept for kids with the bunk beds and king for parents but the beds are hard rocks and pillows very uncomfortable. Even the kids complained. […] AM breakfst area was also dirty and not kept up, by 9AM almost no food left. I was expecting so much more... The hotel looked alright from the outside but for what i was paying i should have gotten a better place. We stayed on the second floor. The room was not to bad, but for what we payed for we should have gotten something way bigger. The Gym sucked bad, it was just two running machines and a Small tv. The problem we had was noise all night long. Loud banging and doors being slammed. We called the front desk every night to try to get it stopped. Not sure what was going on.

Lobby was clean. Service was quick and friendly. Rooms were a little small, but, clean and cozy. Kids love bunkbeds. Nice view of the pool. Pool clean and heated. Breakfast was good and seating area tasteful. Forsure will stay again. Close to everything, including large mall.

Comfort Suite Mission Valley is my favorite hotel in he San Diego Area. I have stayed at other hotels during my many trips to San Diego, but none compare to Comfort Suites Mission Valley. There are things that are not to my liking for instance charging $7.00 for parking per night, and some of the new upgrades (ie the new coffee makers and the new restroom […] mirrors that seem too big for the wall). However the rooms are cozy and the vibe of the hotel is usually just right. During my last stay the hotel was undergoing some maintenance (changing out carpets) which led to room furniture to sit outside of the rooms making the walking pathway narrow and the area smell moldy due to the carpet padding being left out in the parking lot over the rainy days. The tech's changing out the carpets did cause a the noise level in and around the hotel to be elevated which was unfortunate for all the guest staying at the hotel. The elevators were very slow, we never had enough bath towels for the number of people staying and the biggest disappointment, after a long day out we returned in late afternoon and our room had not been cleaned!
