I can't lie, I price-shopped this hotel due to this being a REAL last minute stop on what became an EPIC road trip, and we were BLOWN away with what our puny $180 dollas (including parking) got us... 1. This place looks like a 5 star, world class, hotel for the elite on the inside & the outside. The service is second to none. All of the extras, like […] wifi, breakfast buffets and dinner, and the 10 p.m. PB&J were all over the top! This place should never have an opening due to their value, friendly & professional warmth, and quality. What a terrific elegant hotel! Wonderful amenities: pb&j every evening at 10 pm, microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker in room, near streetcar, near Mother's, great bed! I heated up Mother's jambalaya for breakfast. I will definitely stay again.

Stay was a great deal. My only complaint is how my room smelt of cigarettes.and I was in a non smoking room.

Very happy with our reception and service at Le Pavillon. Wish we'd had more time to use some of the amenities like the drawn bath menu. We were upgraded to a room with a bigger bed than we booked without even needing to make the request..

Our stay at Le Pavillon was one of refined elegance. The hotel upon entering is visually striking and exudes a warm charm, without the overbearing stuffiness one usually gets upon entering a grand hotel. Every employee we encountered had a greeting for us and a smile that was not false in anyway. We had the breakfast buffet one morning and it was excellent […] and highly recommended by this seasoned traveler. The nightly peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with hot fresh cocoa were a delightful touch on the evening. The only issue we had with the condition of the hotel was at the rooftop pool and hot tub. It was open and had extra-ordinary views, however the hot tub area was undergoing some maintenance and parts of the decking were removed and blocked off with orange construction fencing. Did it inhibit our leisurely lounging in the hot tub? Nope, not at all. It was just an aesthetic detriment is all. Stay here. You wont regret it. It is a bit of a walk to the debauchery of Bourbon Street, but I happen to think that the walk does some good and this hotel has too many plusses to its benefit. Enjoyed stay, beautiful hotel but felt there was an underlying musty smell. Staff were friendly and helpful. Concierge gave us some very good restaurant recommendations. Easy walking distance to Latin Quarter.

This was the best hotel stay I have ever had. The service was excellent, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, and it had a 46" flat screen tv in it. The bed was so comfortable, and turn down service is available if you want it. The complimentary peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in the lobby at 10pm gives the hotel […] an "at home" feeling. The pool and spa on the roof were great. The Staff was SUPER. We had a problem with the Heating/Air condition and had to move which delayed plans made earlier.

Great hotel. French architecture is breathtaking and the staff is wonderful. Rooms are small, but very comfortable and the bathrooms are very nice.

Could quite possibly be one of the greatest city hotels I've stayed at. Very grand design, extremely large and comfortable rooms, and extremely attentive staff. When traveling to New Orleans again, I will not stay anywhere else!

Loved the staff. Bell boys, concierge, front desk, restaurant, cooks (especially the new omelette cook), house keeping. Hot chocolate and PB&J every evening in the lobby is awesome.

Excellent location, the lobby and the overall look of the hotel was spectacular. I felt I was getting a nice feeling of being in big easy. Unfortunately when I got to my room, I found a much smaller place than I expected. Perhaps all of their rooms are small, perhaps it was mine - the room at the end of the hallway purchased through this site.

We loved it. Its about 4 blocks off of Canal, so if you are not a walker you might be a bit too far from french quarter.

We loved the historical beauty of this hotel. Despite its age, it wasn't lacking in modern conveniences, like remodeled bathrooms and flat screen TVs. The room was generously sized, the beds were soft and comfy, and the service was great! Our favorite thing was the late night PB&J sandwich bar and hot chocolate. Overall great stay.

I'm a local and this was my first time staying here! Stayed here the night before the Crescent City Classic, so GREAT location. Loved everything about it and can't wait to stay again! Only thing I'd like to see is more electrical outlets but as a historical hotel I totally get it. Fabulous hotel!!

Le Pavillon was delightful! This was a 2 night stay en route to Texas from Atlanta. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the service was very attentive. Our room was beautiful, beds very comfortable. We would return and stay again given the opportunity.

It could not have been nicer. I used to live in New Orleans and have stayed there and attended many functions. The price is reasonable at today's rates. The staff was eceptional. We wouldn't stay anywhere else.

This was a birthday surprise for my wife and it went over huge. From the top hatted doorman when we arrived to the complimentary coffee in the morning this was an extravagent and indulgent Hotel. The location is great and right outside the French Quarter. i hightly recommended Le Pavillion to anyone who desires that old world charm that only New Orleans […] has to offer. I wish Le Pavillon could control the weather. We really wanted to enjoy the rooftop pool but between the wind and cool temps I had to pass. However, my hubby did take a very quick dip in the cold waters. New Orleans wasn't quite my cup of tea but was very interesting. Le Pavillon made it worth the trip! The Crystal Room had very good Pasta Jambalaya […] but I have to say the service at the Crystal Room was less than attentive. Very disappointed on that note. The hotel itself was perfect!! The public areas of this place are drop-dead gorgeous, and they staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was nice, well-furnished, and very charming. We absolutely loved the bar and the PBJ buffet at night. The hallway carpets could stand a good steam cleaning, and I was disappointed by the kinda dusty fake flower arrangements in the hallways. […] Every door creaked too, but nothing a little oiling wouldn't fix.
