Hated the hotel. We were booked to stay 2 nights but cancelled our second night and checked out and went to another hotel for the remainder of our trip. Hallway to our room was so smokey that it was unpleasant to breath. Our room smelled of urine, the blanket had cigarette holes in it. Nice, clean hotel. very friendly staff. you can tell the building is not new, but it is maintained well and very close to the interstate, with several food choices close enough to walk to near by.

I chose this hotel because of its easy on/easy off for I-40, and because it is about mid-point on my trip. This was our second stay here, we found the staff friendly and responsive, the facilities well maintained and inviting. The only thing I would change, and it's a very minor thing, is the size of the bathroom, it was a little tight. Everyting else about the room and the facility is first class. The motel is within half a block of I-40 but we could not hear any traffic noises.

Room was clean, roomy and comfortable, up to date. Breakfast was hot and fresh. Innkeeper was courteous and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

This was a comfortable place to stay. The only real problem was they didn't clean the room, so that cost them a star. I left the room around 11 am that day and the "do not disturb" sign WAS NOT out. I'm sure I could have called and requested service but it wasn't worth it by the time I got in late that evening. Otherwise, the staff was very friendly. […] The hotel is located conveniently by US 40. There is plenty of food and gas right by the hotel. I really liked the fridge and microwave in the room.
