we had a very comfortable stay and the hotel staff were extremely helpful. The only problem was noise from the street during some nights as there are several nightclubs close to the hotel.

All hotels are pricey in Singapore. Book this one for location alone! Great location for shoppers and tourists. This hotel located in Orchard Road and it's about 5 min walk from the nearest MRT Station. Easy access to shops, restaurants and pubs, Helpful staffs and clean room.

From Checked in evrything went well, i req early checked they accomodated us so quickly. The place is so convinient for evrything, shopping malls just walking distance.Staff are great. i did see many groups and even air company employees stay in this hotel. lobby is always crowded even night time. although located in Orchard road, it takes >10min walk to access Orchard subway station.

Stayed in the superior room over the weekend and was pleased with the overall condition of the room. However, the furniture and fixtures were a little old but was still well maintained. It was a great stay there. On the second day, it was my husband's birthday and the hotel surprised us with a complimentary birthday cake.

The hotel was fine except for one thing - we requested a travel cot for our 10 month old on booking and did not receive one. We were not offered an alternative (mattress on the floor for example) or an explanation after asking and being promised the cot twice after arrival. If you need one, I would suggest calling ahead directly to the hotel.

We travel a lot and this was a real surprise. Becouse we are elite members of expedia they upgraded our room to a VIP. Anything in this hotel is superb . We strongly recommend it!

Good location at top of Orchard Road. Bus stop outside hotel (including SIA hop on bus). Few minutes walk to MRT station at Ion. Staff friendly and helpful. Good pool and fitness centre. Selection of dining experiences into hotel but many places to eat, including food centres,nearby. Can walk to Botanic Gardens. Kenko fish spa one minute walk way!

Very welcoming staff, attended to our every need. Amenities are excellent, especially the Hospitality Room where we could freshen up while waiting for our room to be ready. Great Hotel, very grand entrance, foyer, reception area. Room we had was good but just seemed to be more basic and not as impressive as the entrance and did not really have the same feel as the rest of the Hotel, just seemed a little tired and bit worn although the price was brilliant so cant complain, Door fell off fridge cupboard as soon as we opened […] it and fridge was not cold at all but as soon as we notified them the door was repaired and fridge replaced all very quickly so certainly can not fault the service. Pool was a bonus for a little bit or R & R Location was great, top end of Orchard Road with some great eating places, bars and restaurants all right there! Arrived at the Hotel to check in and was allocated a Superior Room on the 5th floor, superior to what I am not sure. It was barely larger than a walk in robe with furniture dating back to the 1960s. I went back to Reception and saw a Senior Clerk who to his credit immediately offered me something better on the 7th floor. When i say better it had a leather […] armchair which the first one didn"t. The leather chair had multiple rips in it which seemed to have been repaired with supaglue. The clerk advised me that the hotel was looking to budget for a major refit, this is long over due. The pool area is neat and today and there is a nice gym. Breakfast was not included in my stay and after seeing the state of both rooms I was offered i decided to eat out of the hotel at the many nearby cafes and restaurants, Overall I found all the staff very helpful however i feel sorry for them working in an environment that they have to. We had booked the room for 2 adults and 1 child. But only 2 single beds in the room and when contacting the reception we were ttold "No more beds available". The breakfast service was absolute terrible; we had to wait 30 min before being seated, no service, total chaos and plates missing. Total lack of service. Good Modern Hotel, for if you want somewhere to sleep within range of shopping and the botanic gardens. Very good staff. Nearest supermarket: basement of Tangelin Mall off Tangelin Road; nearest fast food: McDonald's: diagonally opposite across Orchard Road; nearest dining: food court below the 7 Eleven about 100m away on Orchard Road; nearest fashion […] shopping: all of Orchard Road; nearest *big* mall: ION, above Orchard Street underground station. Now the problems:(1) Wifi works badly with iPad - you have to re-connect and re-enter the password repeatedly. (2) Run-in with the management at breakfast: my step-daughter was ill and couldn't attend the pre-paid breakfast, so we wanted to take about 8 scones/cookies and some mixed salad back to her room. But this was refused on the "medical" grounds that ill people only eat porridge. We argued and got it reversed, but I've ended up paying a mysterious extra 30 dollars on my bill. Go to McDonald's or a food court instead. (3) No simple instruction cards for the electronics such as the air conditioning (I wasted an hour fiddling with it to avoid being too hot or too cold) and the TV (the porter left it set to a really good wildlife channel, but I never managed to find that again). อ่านเพิ่มเติม

The Orchard Hotel is in a great location been a 2 min walk to Orchard Road. Arriving at 8pm while the lobby was busy the check in was efficient and courteous. The rooms of the hotel have had a recent upgrade and were pleasing, buffet breakfast was included in the tariff.

Was the first time there and was quite disappointed. Upon arrival the bellboys were..... yes where were they? The checkin took too long. Had the feeling of checking in a whole Airbus 380 crew. The room was ok, however I could not find the promissed sqft..... Asking for a tooth brush took 25 minutes to bring it upstairs. But the worst experience was […] when the door was opened suddenly by the cleaners at 440pm when having late check out at 6pm and the do not disturb sign was turned on! This did not interest the room attendats at all, and when leaving the room at 520pm for a meal they were already waiting outside the room like a cat waiting for a mouse..... Centrally located within Orchard road, the hotel reception is very well laid out with staff to suit the atmosphere. Very well priced to match the amenities on offer. Unlike many other hotels in the near vacinity taxis are readilly available at the door.

I requested a high floor, I got floor 4, I hardly slept at all because of a nightclub nearby. The bathroom had a leak and soaked my clothes I had taken off and left on the floor, maintenance fixed the leak and stuffed my clothes in the corner! Hotel location good. Bar expensive. I would not stay there again.

I checked in about 8pm, staff were so nice and helpful. I got upgraded to a king superior room, fantastic, unfortunately I only stayed one night so didnt get to enjoy the facilities too much, but would highly recommend staying there.

The hotel is 10min walk from Orchard station. Rooms are cleaned well, but maintenance is lacking. Our bar fridge was leaking water. The engineer came, had a look it, paged the cleaner who wiped the water away. The door was still broken, more water leaked. Nothing was fix. The bathroom door lock was broken too. The hotel is in a great location for shopping […] and adult entertainment. The latter should be noted as I was not aware of this prior to my booking. Although there was a frustrating mix-up when we checked-in, Ryan took very good care of my 24 year old son and me so our three night stay at the Orchard Hotel was as nice as we expected.
