Beacon Hotel & Corporate Quarters - วอชิงตัน

I liked the hotel but just beware of hidden charges. Most of the other hotels do not charge you for 2 extra people when you are booking a room with two beds in it.... also there is no free wifi and im pretty sureyou have to pay for A/C. The rooftop bar is only open til 12am. Other than that everything is ok.

The Beacon hotel is pretty good, close to many bars and restaurants. They should market themselves as a nightlife hotel. I think it's great for young people, not so great for families.

I wish the hotel's bar would stay open later, but the stay itself was good. Check in staff very nice as were bell hop and valet service staff. Room cool, clean, and comfortable.

Great option as this hotel is near my DC office. Good price, clean room, large safe for laptop, and they greeted me with a bottle of complimentary Champagne. Workout room was fine. Didn't visit lounge, but it looked nice. I will always consider the Beacon Hotel for DC stays.

Wanted to stay here for a long time, and did when the hotel my group was in nearby was sold out. I was closer to where we had to go, and the hotel was more functional. My room had a kitchette, which I didn't need. Excellent value, nice place, two blocks from Connecticut Ave.

It was clean, except for a spot on the mattress cover. Quality of service was pretty good, prompt when I requested extra things. Amenities were decent--gym was small, but you can also get a pass to the YMCA right across the street. Hotel's location was excellent--close to Caribou Coffee, Potbelly's, shopping, the metro. This hotel had a fair price, nothing fancy. If you're going to DC to sight see it is a decent place to stay.

Good location. Near White House. Looks famous bar in the top of the hotel building....but looks for youg people and a little noisy until midnight.

Stayed on non smoking floor but dealt with cigarette smoke all night. Complained to manager and didn't even get an apology. Not cool.

Loved the location of the hotel, but was a little disappointed in the room. The weather was bad (not the hotel's fault), but that hindered our ability to have a drink a the rooftop bar. This hotel has a terrific location close to Dupont Circle. The employees were universally pleasant and helpful. Their restaurant had an affordable happy hour. I would have liked to check out their rooftop bar, but it was closed during my stay.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was very nice and friendly and upgraded our room for a discount. The upgrade room was plush! I really enjoyed it.

Excellent location to just about anything you need, or want to get to in Washington, D.C. via foot, metro, or car. The hotel was nice and the staff helpful. The room was clean and well lit. I would recomment the hotel to a friend and would definitely consider the property on my next visit!

I don't know where to start about the Beacon ! I stayed on a cold weekend in January and they made my boyfriend and I feel extremely welcomed. Not only did we get a suprise upgrade they also took care of all our needs quickly. This hotel was in a great location but lacked in every other category. The room was old and out dated with old tile bathrooms. Also, the maids came in twice while I was still in the room. You are paying for the location only, better to book the Grand Hyatt next time.

Easy walk to good eats and metro. Good value. Parking is a better value at the Catholic Church one block down.

The Hotel was nice and clean. The staff at the front door were very nice and helpful. Location was good. I would deffinitly stay again.

I had a physician who was interviewing w/ my company stay at the Beacon for two nights in March. He is young and wanted convenience to city sights and my facility which is in upper northwest-he said the place was great and really enjoyed the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon to kill time. I have to say I travel often and have stayed in amazing places. For the price, I was not impressed with the size of the rooms or design. The service was very nice. The gentlemen at the front desk, quite pleasant. Not impressed with the food in the restaurant but could have been an off day. I would give this hotel a 4

The bathroom was impossibly small and the concierge at the front desk was not the best, but the room was clean and the beds were extremely comfortable at least. Wifi was not free. I would not stay here again, even if it were for a weekend trip. Clean rooms and polite staff. If I needed or asked for anything they provided quickly. My only complaint was the TV would consistently lose signal if I watched a program at night.

Upgraded my family to a suite at no charge which made our stay extra easy and enjoyable as this room had a fridge, microwave and eating area. We were traveling with our 4 year old and one year old and we were able to keep drinks cold and make them food. Location is in walking distance to metro and DuPont circle, excellent. Valet parking was 35 dollars a night but if staying for a few days there are parking garages close by that are 12 dollars a day if you get in by 9am. Service was the best. The walls were too thin, alarm clocks in other rooms could be heard. Conversations in other rooms could be heard. The food was nothing too special. Overpriced for what it was. The location was good but the overall poor quality of the hotel brought the weekend down. I would not choose to stay here again.
