The Hacienda is an old quaint hotel. Their are several nice terrace/fountain like common areas to chat or read. The pool and jacuzzi area are nice. The rooms are not as nice as a holiday inn type maybe a step and half under. While it is well maintained it is yet very old. The cafe is reasonablly priced and has great breafast : )

Had a good 3 days staying their .. People are friendly only problem is we wanted a late check out cause we were flying out at 11:30pm and check out was at 12 midday we were told to ring on the day of departure and check to see of its ok .. We call the day before and were told its ok .. We thought we would do the right think and call on the day of departure […] and found out they would not give us a late departure we were told we had to purchase a extra night ..( Not good service ) spoke to others and found out 2 other couples had a late check out that we're on the same flight as us .. Too the hacienda resort "it's not all about make money it's about making sure your clients come back. ! Oh just to let people know that I had a 5 year old with me and pregnant wife ! This is a perfectly decent hotel. It's a large property so getting to and from your car is a bit of a jaunt. The staff is efficient and friendly, the rooms are large and clean. During the day it is a bit noisy (mostly staff members chatting with each other and equipment/vehicles) so opening the windows is not advisable. The price is right and it's very […] close to LAX. If you are in a pinch for a place to stay at a really good value, and an extremely convenient location, this is a good fit. It is very dated, if not somewhat grungy. And, know that parking is extra.

Hotel is located just south of LAX in a neighborhood with multiple resturant and shopping options in walking distance from hotel and great for guests passing throught LAX that do not plan to rent a car.

I decided to get away one night and come here on a stay-cation. It's still close to home and work, but I needed a break from my apartment and this was ideal. I've used the Hacienda many times for events and never disappointed then. This is my first time in a room. It was very clean, tidy, and fitted with all necessary (a fridge/micro would have been […] AWESOME). The bed was SO HARD, though... it was like sleeping on a slab of granite with a mattress pad. I like a firm bed, but this was too much. Additionally, the toilet wouldn't stop running and when I called to report it, the answer was, "Oh yeah... that room.. It's like that. I"ll send someone up." This isn't a difficult fix, but I don't need to be putting my hand in the tank every time I flush. All in all - if i want a night out of the apt for inexpensive, but not CHEAP, I'll come here. Have stayed at hotel before and loved it. This stay was not as enjoyable because the room wasn't clean and smelled badly. Still love the location because of all the restaurants and stores across the street. The hotel shuttle makes it convenient if you don't want to rent a car and the hotel has a car rental place inside with great prices.

The lobby and staff are very nice. The rooms are old, but clean. Hot and cold water is sketchy. Don't flush the toilet while bathing lest you scald yourself. The worse part was the bed. The beds are HORRIBLE!!! It felt like sleeping on a trampoline. If you are looking for comfort this is not the place. for the price you pay you actually have a great stay! my boyfriend and I had an awesome experience. just don't go to Bad Sushi that was a bad experience.

The hacienda is in a very good location. There's a Ralph's, a Starbucks, 7Eleven and a bunch of fast food restaurants around. The hotel room itself needs a fridge, a microwave and coffee pot. Without these amenities you might as well stay in a motel.

I Knew the age of the hotel, I lived in the area as a kid, so I expected a few nics and dings. I found it to be nicely kept, colors, decor, cleanliness. Nice pool area. The employees, all, curtious and helpful. Great location to other beach cities, LAX, freeway access. Restaurant downstairs, clean and quaint. Yes we will stay again. Thank you.

good thing is it close to LAX airport. But it is not a 3-star level hotel, it is realy a 2.5 start if not a 2-star. bed is clean, but room smell badly, floor make noices, elevator is kind of weired, most facilities are old

The hotel`s staff was friendly and helpful, but the condition of the room was aged. There is only one curtain in the room which makes the rooms dark, because if you pull it to one side, no other one, and the opposite side can clearly see you in the room. This is a very cozy place to stay. Romantic setting, Very convenient for food, Mall up the street, Grocery store across the street with 24 hour Starbucks. No need for a rental car.

Hotel was older but maintained fine. Parking was not free but at least was linked to room key. Had some difficulty where we would call the front desk for sufficient towels and they would contact housekeeping, but towels would never be delivered (happened twice). Beds were definitely well-used and a little uncomfortable. But overall the room was worth […] the money we paid for it, and it was just a block from the office where we needed to be. The hotel location is very close the LAX Airport. The hotel room condition is very run down, sign of rotten wood and rusty metal.

Reception desk handed me keys for rooms already occupied twice in a row, before giving me a room with a broken TV, stained bed, stained ceiling. Not to mention the full hotel parking lot. I will never stay at this hotel again. If you want to have a enjoyable and memorable stay in LA, don't go to this hotel.

Terrible service, rooms smell, nothing like it's pictures

We booked a room with two double beds and were given a single queen. At 10 pm it took an hour for the front staff to correct this mistake and they were hardly apologetic. The room was dingy and not very well cleaned - there was a used tissue on the floor of the washroom. I would never stay here again.

I gave this an overall score of 3 ONLY because of the gated parking. Otherwise, it would have been a 2. The service man at the front desk was very pleasant and when I called for an extra blanket, it arrived right away. However, I needed an extra blanket due to the heating unit not working in my room. The shower smelled like a dog had been in there and […] the water did not drain too great as it was almost ankle level as I showered. It just had the feel of a roadside motel if you ask me. I had to stay overnight in L.A. to take an exam, chose this hotel as it was close to exam center and cheap and i guess you get what you pay for, an uneasy night that was not helped by the constant sound of running water in the ceiling or the rattling of the AC unit.

Location is awesome, all types of food shopping banks airport pretty much in walking distance. Room is another story, ceiling was cracking from water stains windows need a update as well as carpet bathrooms and hallways. If that gets done it'll be the best hotel for a great price in the area.

Too spread out, creating long walks. Charge for parking. Inaccurate directions to rooms, and confusing room numbers. Incorrect information regarding the restaurant. Overall it was a decent place to stay if you just need a place to sleep. But beware of unwanted wake up calls. We stayed 3 nights and at 6am the first morning we got a wake up call we never asked for. We brushed it off and said it was probably the previous guest. We called the operator and were assured that it was cancelled. 6am second morning lo and […] behold another wake up call. We were livid, so I called the operator and the manager. They apologized and assured me it would be cancelled. I even went to the front desk to speak face to face with a manager. She apologized again and sent up free breakfast vouchers. That night we had a message. I checked the phone and there was no message but again there was a 6am wake up call scheduled. I called the operator and the night manager. They AGAIN apologized. I gave them an hour to get it cancelled. It never was. I had to mess with the phone options to figure out how to cancel the last one myself. When I called the "corporate office" number that was given to me I got the hotel and spoke with another manager. She explained that some kinds of wake up calls are set up in the room and no one else can see them and have to be cancelled in the room. The hotel was convenient since I was attending a conference there. The air conditioning did not really work in the room and so I needed to keep the window open.
