arrived at hotel 2230 came down to watch golf in bar told bar closed at 11 ended up in hotel next door to watch the golf not good enough

The hotel was very convenient for a last night stay . The pickup from the station and drop at the terminal were excellent. Great room and good facilities

no nternet unless you pay the bed and breakfast we stayed in were more friendlier and more catering

although we got to the hotel at 3am due to flight delay they were very helpful and quick in able to get us in our room as soon as. the room was clean and cosy wish we didnt have to leave.

This hotel is close to Manchester airport but you cannot walk to the airport easily from the hotel. There is a shuttle bus service which will take you to and from Manchester airport. The decor of the hotel was very dark and dingy, I was a bit surprised how dated the reception, restaurant area and corridors looked. However, I only stayed for the night […] so it wasn't too bad. The room was fairly spacious with a comfortable bed, nice big flat screen TV. The free biscuits, mint chocolates, sparkling water and aromatherapy spray (sleep aid) were a nice touch. The bathroom was a little dated but the shower worked fine. I found the check in process a bit laborious. I had already paid for the room, but the check in lady asked me to please pay for it (!) Then she said would you like give us permission to use this credit card for any additional charges to the room? No, I thought Im only staying one night for goodness sake. Then she explained the 2 restaurants and hotel bar and asked if I wanted to pay £15 for breakfast, I declined Then began the speil abot the Crown Plaza rewards program. I also declined politely but she pushed on trying to get me to sign up for it. The thing is I didn't want to sign up, didn't want to give the company my info and I just felt like saying "Im only here for one night to catch a flight early the next morning, can you just let me get to my room please!" To save the train trip early morning,a over night stay was just the ticket,got to around 1700hrs Fri night,watched TV,had a drink in bar,shower then bed. Sat morning lay in,up a 0740hrs,shower,dressed then down stairs to a cooked breakfast,back up to room for luggage,last minute things,then to front desk for quick check out,into mini-van from hotel […] to terminal,then to wait around in line to hand in luggage,go to airport side then wait for my 8Hrs flight to Canada,not rushed fed and watered. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Convenient location. Helpful staff. Perfect for early morning flight. Would however search elsewhere for longer stay. Restaurants can get busy with long waits for food [although waiters were very helpful and offered to take orders and reserve tables for later].

I was leaving for the US the next day and put up in this hotel with my wife and toddler son. The service right up from the pick-up at Manchester Airport Train Station, throughout our stay and drop-off at the airport terminal the next day was simply fantastic and professional. Crowne Plaza is very close to Manchester airport and they run a free shuttle to and from the airport pretty frequently. They have an amazing Asian restaurant in-house - called Sampans - the food is just great !! Room service is excellent and staff is very courteous and helpful.

The Crowne Plaza Manchester Airport is a great hotel - everything you would expect from the chain. Car parking is extortionate though at £15 Per 24 hours. I did complain about this - their justification is that all other hotels charge the same. Very disappointed about this.

Nothing special about this hotel but very concenient for airport. Too far away from city to consider use whilst visiting manchester . Wouls use again for airport transit.

Staff was efficient and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Airport shuttle driver was helpful and friendly. Overall good experience.

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza ahead of our 21 hour flight to Kuala Lampur to avoid waking at odd hours and getting to the Airport to check in. It was a very wise decision. Friendly staff, clean room, convient to travel into Manchester City center with shuttle to train station. Very please highly recommended stay on the club floor - Judy ny/nj area USA

facilities are all good however we had a bedroom and bathroom which were really small!!! Could not fault food, facilities or decor and bed very comfortable

I slept very soundly which is all I wanted. On top of that the coarch service to the airport was fabulous.

Lovely and clen very friendly staff, could not fault it apart from (there food & drinks were expensive)

Hotel was lovely, and very convenient for the airport-we walked to the terminal early in the morning (which was quicker than getting on the hotel bus). We used the gym which was quiet and adequate. I've used this hotel many times. It's good value and very convenient to Manchester Airport and surrounding towns like Alderley Edge & Presbury. You can walk or take a shuttle to the terminals...and train station. Train station 5 minutes walk away makes travel into downtown Manchester very easy. Trains are frequent and takes 10 to 20 minutes...depending […] on the number of stops. A taxi into Manchester or to Old Trafford is approx. GBP 20. Taxi's to the beautiful surrounding towns like Alderley Edge & Prestbury range from GBP 15 to 30. Only problem is the hotel's system invariably generates incorrect bills. Good location for flying out to places I suppose and seemed to be popular with those going on holiday (I was there on business unfortunately) If you'd like your breakfast in your room then I you suggest double checking that they get your order .. they didn't pick mine up off the door even though put out there in plenty of time :o(

This is a very sound airport hotel - comfortable and convenient (it's only a five minute walk to the airport) with a few charming extras, such as free sparkling mineral water and aromatherapy sleeping aids on the pillows.

Do not go to the Crown Plaza for a stay to remember. It is a 3 star airport hotel! However, it does get 5 stars for location. An easy place to stay at the Manchester International Airport.

Condition of hotel is what you'd expect from a hotel airport - a bit ragged around the corners However, efficiency and happiness of the staff far exceeds most hotels I've visited. Always a sign of good management when staff are happy

Stayed the night before our holiday and again on our return. The hotel is clean and comfortable with everything you need for an overnight stay. We ate dinner in the hotel as well as breakfast and enjoyed the good quality food. We arrived after an overnight flight and the hotel was quiet enough during the day to enable us to get a good sleep.

Ok English airport hotel, clean and has all the things you expect, as is usual in the UK food was appalling and £5 for one hour internet and £13 for a movie.

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza at Manchester airport for two nights and really enjoyed our stay. The check-in was quick and efficient, and the rooms were clean and well presented. The little extra touches also made for a warm welcome. I've never stayed in a hotel before where, as well as the complimentary tea and coffe, there is also sachets of hot choc, […] two bottles of mineral water and some after-dinner mints. What a shame I had given up chocoalte for lent! My husband was happy to polish them off on my behalf though! We ate at the bar upon arrival an were very impressed with the quality. We ate at the Oriental restaurant on our second night. The food was delicious, if a little on the pricy side. The hotel offers a complimentary mini-bus service to the airpoort terminal, which took the burden off sorting taxis or lugginf heavy cases along the road. Room heater was not working and when I complained, the staff told me that it takes time to warm up. After 4 hrs, the room is still freezing and insisted a change of room which they finally agreed causing much inconvenience to me

15 pounds for one night of wired-only internet is ridiculous. It's 2011 -- unbundling internet and then charging an usurious rate for it is not acceptable. Also many devices now are WiFi only, so providing only wired ethernet is unacceptable. Avoid this place if you need internet connectivity. Bewleys next door provides WiFi to guests gratis.

We found the hotel to be extremely comfortable and all of the staff were very helpful and attentive. An ideal place to stay for convenience to the airport, transfers were swift and effiecent.

It actually was the worst hotel stay in my life. The temperature outside was at freezing so I couldn't wait to get into my room. Unfortunately, the heater was broken in my room. So I felt like I was camping instead of enjoying a 4 star room. The staff did provide a small space heater which if you stood within a foot of it, you would be provided warmth. […] They said there were no other available rooms. A second staff member brought in a second space heater and as he plugged it in, my heating pad caught fire and burned a hole through my sock, pants, and leg. After we put the flame out, I asked for a manager who couldve cared less at the situation and blamed me for all the problems. She said I dont know what to tell you. The rudest encounter I've ever had in my life. I've worked in customer service and this lady got in my face like she wanted to fight me for being dissatisfied. If i was the manager, and I had no available rooms, I would have booked a neighbor hotel, as there were plenty in the area and had the guests stay there and comp them for the inconvenience. Very clean, comfortable, very close to terminal 3, with either free hotel pickup/dropoff from train station or any airport terminal. Or you can follow the short footpath as I did and walk to it

Staff was helpful and the room was quiet. The hotel is very near the airport and has great concierge service to and from. There is not hot tub, which is a disappointment, but there are many TV channels. everything u need and more for a stopover stay - i will be back again

During our 1 night stay we had to call the front desk on several occasions. Once for room service, because the room service line would not pick up after several attempts and long waiting for an answer. Furthermore, once connected to the front desk they said they'd have room service call us back - 20 mins later we got a call. Asked if they had ice cream […] and they again said they'd have to call us back. Then we wanted to make an international call; gave an imprint of our credit card and it would not work. The desk had to be called to make the call for us. Unfortunately for them we had to make several calls to arrange for pickup in the states the following day. We were first mistakenly given a smoking room which was a standard room and very small. However we were quickly switched to a non-smoking room which was bigger and an acceptable size. Next time I will book the upgrade. Very nice hotel, the staff was wonderful, rooms clean and comfortable. No top sheet, which I found strange since I doubt they wash the comforter every time someone sleeps in the bed. I got ripped off twice in a row by the internet, but there was a nice woman in the business office that let me use the crew computer for 10 minutes. If you are expecting the style of room, facilties and services that you would in a Crowne Plaza in the US or the rest of the world, you will be disappointed. The location is great, but 'cheap' would be the only way to describe the rest of the experience.
