It was alright, We had a leak in our room and the fridge was dirty so they up graded us. The second room was nicer we were up graded to the corporate room which was a lot nicer. I did not enjoy the hidden fee, it wasn't indicated anywhere in the room that locale calls where 1$ and paying 22$ for parking for 1 night was not ideal especially after spending […] 200$ to stay there. It was not really close to what we wanted to see. If it wasn't for the up grade I would not recommend this place. Our original floor was dirty and reflected our bed room. Hotel was close to the centre but a little dilapidated. The air con was soo loud it could not be used at night. Definately needs decorating and some TLC to bring back up to standard. Staff very friendly and efficient, car park tight dont take your big car in if you're not a good driver.

I disagree with several reviews left previously, to say that this little hotel does the trick: I don't think it pretends to be what it is not, for the price and considering the location which would typically commend higher rates. I particularly like the laminate flooring, the in-suite fridge, the fact that its only 7 floors, the indoor parking ease […] of access right off the front desk, making the trip from your room to your car a breeze. There is a restaurant on premises as well as a convenience sfore. Other amenities (which i have not seen nor used) include a gym and swimming pool. Staff is courteous. I thought this was a hotel for homeless people when I first walked in because there were about a dozen people hanging around the lobby and wasn't sure if they were guests at the hotel. the hotel lobby, and halls were dark and in relative poor condition. the room, however, was very nice. bed was awesome and slept very well.

I was upgraded to a better more expensive room with a big flat screen tv fixed to the wall because the first room was extremly hot and the air conditioning did not work. It was a good stay considering the price and the upgraded room.

Hotel was a quick walk to Habs game. Parking was very good and service with very friendly and informative employees was exceptional. Room was very clean and beds were very comfortable. Only negative was the bathroom as leaks in toilet and shower.

It ws the worse experience of my life. We had asked for two adjoining rooms or at least on the same floor. When we got there they were not aware of our request. They did give us two rooms next to each other but right above the party room. The music was blasting until 2AM so we were unable to sleep. When we got there we were hungry so we called the restaurant […] to order a club sandwich. It was so greasy I would not have fed it to a dog. I will never recomened that dump to anyone . Except for the blatant arrogance of the French desk clerks seeping through when checking in and checking out because I spoke English, the Espresso hotel gets better with each visit. I was put on the 7th floor where the rooms have been refinished and very much enjoyed it. The plumbing in the bathrooms however is still an issue where you don't quite know […] if that water level I'm the toilet is going to overflow or not and the drain in the tub is pretty much clogged with years of hair and well I won't go there. The staff was fab! We just had a bunch of noisy drunks out in the hall way yelling and the staff had to come up twice to settle them down.

the hallways and elevators were so stinking...like 10 people just had been smoking in it and then urinated everywhere. wasn't a good first impression. but the room was lovely. nicely done and a surprise after the sticking ride and walk down the hall!

While the lobby area may feel a bit dated, it was nevertheless clean. Complimentary Expresso as you check in; nice touch. The room/bedding was very clean with hardwood flooring! The room was nice, clean, spacious. Would have been a better stay if we weren't in the section of the hotel that was being renovated. That kind of set it off for us. Other than that, nice rooms, and comfy beds!!!!

Very very pleased with this last-minute find. Needed a dog-friendly place with parking. Got both, plus friendly service and extremely comfortable beds.

I was excited to find a hotel for a great price in a great location with consistently good guest ratings. What I found when I got there was a great location, an overpriced hotel considering what I got, and an overall very dirty hotel that I would not return to. I was disgusted by the condition an lack of cleanliness of the room. It was close to many fun attractions like Mini-putt, bowling, restaurants and bars. I enjoyed the hard wood floors too. There was only one problem with our stay. The location is very good. The memory foam bed is the best I have ever seen in a hotel anywhere (including 5-star hotels!), though the pillows are of the relatively cheap kind. The in-room Keurig brewing system is a nice touch. The rooms are very large. The (free) WiFi offers decent speed (but not VOIP quality) and has no blocked ports. In fact the […] rooms are too large for the amount of furniture present therein. Beside the (very nice) bed one gets a vinyl-upholstered loveseat, a large desk, a chair, and a small table for the coffee maker. Staying anywhere but on the bed is thus uncomfortable, and this scarcity also makes for a rather unfriendly atmosphere. Bathroom fixtures are becoming old but are fully functional. The room features a bare floating floor. This contributes a lot to the unfriendly athmosphere and is also quite uncomfortable as well as noisy. The biggest problem is the HVAC - big, efficient, and also noisy. The noise is particularly problematic at night since the HVAC keeps going on and off. The price is overall right for the comfort level and location. Parking is slightly more expensive even than nearby lots ($22 versus $10 - $15 for the lot adjacent to the hotel) but we are talking about indoor parking so the higher price is justified. We actually parked on the street just in front of the hotel (metered and time-limited during the day but free from 9 pm to 9 am). Overall we found the accommodation adequate for out needs. Overall I was extremely satisfied with my stay. For the price I paid, it was absolutely a great value. Room was newly renovated, spacious and clean. Close to the heart of downtown, great view of the city (from my room), comfortable bed, and helpful staff. I would definitely recommend this to someone who just needs a comfy bed and a hot shower.

I would of given this place 5/5 except the wifi did not work, that was really annoying it's 2013 you need wifi. Everything else was excellent, bonus points for the hardwood floor in the room. In my opinion hardwood should be mandatory in hotels many people have allergies carpets are disgusting who knows what is trapped in there
