"Pretty good for Long Island"
We enjoyed our stay at this Hotel. Overall it was pretty good --especially for Long Island. Nothing against the island (I used to live there), but there are very few good hotels at a reasonable price and there is really no such thing as a good location since its difficult to get anywhere on the island. --Back to the hotel--parking is bit of a problem. […] They only have about 12 spots on the premise and extra parking across the street at a tire place---BUT only between 7pm and 9 am after which you need to move the car. My only other complaint is that the hotel seemed understaffed. We got everything we wanted but the room was not made up until after 4pm. "Parking Issues"
The only negative thing I can mention is the parking can be tricky. It is limited and sometimes you need to park at an adjacent facility and be off their premises by 9 AM. However, for me it worked out O.K.
The Hotel overall was very well maintained and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was a little smaller than I expected but nice.Bathroom was clean. Bed was comfortable. The pillows were down filled which my wife cannot use due to allergies. The staff had no problem with changing them with foam. large breakfast area well attended to. This hotel was a relaxing experience. The service was exceptional and the rooms were clean and comfortable. It was a perfect place to stay for basic needs. The continental breakfast had a large variety of choices and was presented nicely. I would definitely stay again in the future.
"Too Noisy, No Convenient Restaurants"
Stayed 1 night on business. Finally found a decent Restaurant/Pizza about 1+ miles down the road. Very thin walls with every word heard from the conversation next door. When that finally ebbed, the traffic noise all night was loud & I found it hard to sleep. Decent breakfast. Very little parking - have to go across the street to auto shop but be out […] by 9pm. Free Parking / Wifi / Breakfast - all good and nothing to complain about for this accommodation. I would not say it's 5-star quality, but it's all clean and most amenity is all available. If anything, I would like a softer duvet for the bedding ... fake wooly blanket sandwiched between linens are fine, but I way prefer the duvet... Thanks.

We were in the area for a memorial service, and this hotel was very convenient to all the places we needed to be. It was very clean, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was tiny, but I think that's fairly typical for the area. There was a good continental breakfast, and the staff provided good tips about local restaurants for […] lunch and supper. stayed here 2 nights to do some fishing & visti Teddy Roosevelt's Historic Home nearby....hotel was close to both & room was clean & bed very comfortable, staff pleasant, hotle nicely quiet. Only dissatisfaction was lot could not accommodate hotel size, so they made arrangements with business accross the street, was uncomfortable parking my brand new […] car outside the hotel lot, but they only have 20-25 spaces. Excellent location, right off Jericho Turnpike which is very close to the Long Island Expressway. All facilities were very convenient, including the fitness room and breakfast room. "Would never stay there again"
This hotel is nicely remodeled downstairs but upstairs in the guest rooms is really dated. The rooms are small and haven't been remodeled. Bricks are showing in the rooms and have been painted over but it looks like a cheap motel room rather than a hotel. The rooms are extremely small and everything in them, including the bedding seemed worn and old. "Very Convenient"
It was a short but wonderful stay. We had a wedding the same night we got there and the location was literally 2 minutes away. Met with friends the following day and had breakfast with them. I would definetly stay there again. The attendants were very nice and helpful. Grateful from Upstate NY

Absolutely wonderful hotel. They had everything that they described on their website and on hotels.com. Continental breakfast, free wireless throughout the hotel, and a "business center" where you can print and surf the web at no extra cost. Stayed there only one night because I was in town for a wedding and I am sure glad I did. Met at reception with […] great smiles and info. Many restaurants in the area, easy to navigate, not far from the city, great staff, the maintenance crew doesnt come until you check out and most importantly it was quiet, the loudest thing in the room was the air conditioner and that wasn't loud at all. Visited Long Island to visit Stony Brook University with my daughter. When you first walk in the lobby looks very spacious, clean, and modern. The employees were very friendly. Our room was very clean - I was pretty happy with that. The location seemed to be near all the major highways we needed to travel on. I stayed on a weekend, and didn't have any […] problems with noise. The only thing that could really be improved is better parking. The parking lot is very small - probably enough for only 25 cars at the most. You may have to park across the street at a tire garage and then move your car by 9am.
