This hotel was very clean, and the staff was so pleasant! Only complaint would be the powdered coffee creamer. YUK: Bill, however said he would take care of that! LG

This hotel is in a good location close to attractions and was very affordable, however our room had water damage, mold and even fungus (quarter and half dollar size mushrooms) growing from the cracks in the moist walls. Honestly the hotel has probably seen better days. The rooms werent horrible, but on the older side. We stayed on a friday night and there were plenty of families and other residents. Safety wasnt a big issue, but maybe something to consider if your not staying in the main building. Not a 5star hotel but clean and close to cedar point. Clean and alright to crash for one night.

VERY CLEAN VERY FRIENDLY CLOSE TO ALL ATTRACTIONS

We were going just for the night after Cedar Point. It was very clean and the staff was nice. Do not count on the breakfast it was just one small muffin. If you just need an inexpensive place to crash, it will work great!

This hotel is very close to Cedar Point and we would stay there again. The rooms were small but clean and the price was right.

Great hotel for the price

A little outdated, but room was very clean. Beds comfortable. Close to Cedar Point. Nice place to stay after a long day. Close to a lot of restaurants.

THe hotel is really run down and the walls are PAPER thin. On the good side, close to ameneties and super friendly staff

this was nice for the money and not far from cedar point,office personnel were very nice,would definitely be back.

This hotel looks fairly nice online, however, when you get off the highway to go to it, don't stop at the first one you see - THIS hotel is down further, turning into a bad neighborhood (something they fail to tell you online of course). We had requested a first floor room due to handicapped accessibility. What we received was a former broom closet […] with two steps leading up to it (yes, we had to help my 72 year old father up them which is why we requested a handicapped room!). So, this former broom closet they put us in was covered in cobwebs - even over the front door - with huge spiders! We asked to have them taken care of, and no one ever showed up so we had to CLEAN the place of spiders before we could even attempt to get some sleep. Very convenient to the park and was clean and friendly.

You get what you pay for. This place is cheap and very close to Cedar Point. Thier continental breakfast was a basket of prepackaged muffins and a pot of coffee. The room was clean enough. For two guys going to cedar point, it was good enough.

I booked this room online and was looking for a great price close to the amusement part. For the price, it was adequate for a one night stay. We stayed for one night and chose this hotel because of price and convenient location to Cedar Point. I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and it was 5 minutes from CP. The room was dated and small but had air conditioning, a large safe, TV with lots of channels and a blow dryer. You get what you pay for. This isn't anything special but it's a perfect place to crash for the night from Cedar Point or if you are hanging around Sandusky. It's clean but tiny.

We only stayed one night and basically used the hotel for a bed to sleep in. It was clean, a little run down but overall for the savings it was worth it to us. Btw the pool is a little on the cold side.

Hotel was greatly convienent had to leave park because of storm. Office recommended great place for lunch at a great price. Indoor pool was a plus. Not real updated hotel but clean perfect for going to Cedar Point can take a break midday, have a great lunch and indoor swim, and head back to the Park. Would use this hotel again. The room was clean and the AC was nice and cold. The hotel is dated and the ice machine was down once, but they quickly had it running the next day. You can't beat this place for price and convienice to Cedar Point.

It is what it is. Its not a 4 star hotel. It is a place you can crash, sleep comfortably wake up shower and head to your destination and have money left in your pocket when leaving. Room was clean, beds were clean. Wasn't much to look at but I wasn't there for the view.

I read the reviews that said it was small but it is really small, both beds literally touched the walls on 2 sides, but our rooms were clean & we were only there after long day @ Cedar Point & Put-In-Bay. This hotel fit all the needs that my girlfriend and I had for a quick one night Cedar Point visit from a few hours away. It was very affordable, close to the fun park, and the staff was helpful. considering what the prices around this hotel are this price is fair, you get what you pay for. the hotel room was clean enough and comfortable enough. hotel service was definitely helpful, and its a 10 minute drive to the park, and only 5 minutes from sanduskys huge amount of restaraunts

Rodeway Inn North was priced accordingly to its amenities. The rooms are small but adequately clean. A/C worked well. The indoor pool was satisfactory. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Bill, the heavy-set white guy at the front desk was wonderful! He had a great sense of humor and a desire to help. Friday night, he helped me find my way to the correct Rodeway Inn after I failed to follow his directions and stay the course... The heavy-set Negresse was apathetic and a little rude Sunday morning. The price was great. BUT the hotel wasn't up to code. There was cracks in the wall of my room. The bathroom toilet wasnt leveled and it move from side to side if you sit on it. When I first walked into the bathroom to check it out when I found a dirty range hanging from the shower. Also there was a lot of flying looking ants all over my celling wall. […] The ice maker didn't work I always had to go to the main office to ask for ice. The carpet looked old. The rooms were not very clean. The bedding and beds were good. There was no bathtub in our room and the shower door did not stay closed by itself. There were other issues with the helpfulness of the staff. My wife and I stayed only one of the three nights we reserved. We then went to a different hotel for the rest of our stay.

I was surprised by how clean, nice, comfortable was that hotel compared to the price for it. No doubt great value, I am definitely recommend it. It worth it and it is a good DEAL!

Phone cord came out in hand, did not stay connected to the phone. Air conditioner was a wall unit. It dripped all night long on to the carpet by the bed,worried about that water, can't you get some bad diseases from air conditioner water?

the neighborhood is sketchy at best. they did keep the room very clean, but room was very small & hotel was very old and not kept up well. they advertised a restruarant,but, was not there. only vending machines. we were disappointed with our stay. we won't be staying there next year.

I booked sunday and monday night for a very good rate. Remember this is NOT the Hilton. Very clean, very friendly service, NO BUGS, cable tv, indoor pool ( didnt use but looked great ) 10 min from Cedar Point. Will definitley book again. Oh and A/C. Rodeway Inn definitely gave me a wonderful deal and I feel like I stole the rooms! : ) I don't own the […] place so I can't garuntee your experience, but I am MORE than satisfied to crash there after a long day at the park for the price. I didn't expect too much when I got the room for only $40, but there needs to be more pictures on their website or something. I didn't realize I booked a room at the Bates Motel...eek.

our room was small, had a bad smell but that might have been cause we were closed in right by the pool, not well maintained ,had trouble getting the shower to work and then at a tolerable temp. would NOT recommend!!!!!

Booked this particular hotel for the price. Great place to stay for the price if all your looking for is a place to crash after a long day at Cedar Point. If your looking for anything other than that spend the extra money and upgrade. Five miles from the park and everything was as expected.
