This is our third stay at this particular DoubleTree. The people working there are always very helpful and friendly. The rooms are comfortable and clean. We don't look around for a motel when we are in Richardson because we are staying at the DoubleTree.

Great value. Nice place to stay, with lots of restaurants nearby. Hotel breakfast not included and cost $9/ per, but Grandys is across the street snd McD down the street.

Purchased an Executive room and asked the hotel to upgrade me to the Plaza level (top floor), which they did no charge. The room was modern, clean, and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was extremely nice and friendly. There was a Starbucks right next door to the hotel, too. Overall, I was very happy with my stay.

Room was very clean. Sleep number bed was a pleasant surprise. Hotel was very well kept in general. Bar and restaurant were cozy and reasonably priced. Simply a great hotel! I especially liked the breakfast buffet.

The room was on the executive level. When walking into the room initially it felt uncomfortably hot and smelled musty. We did not expect out toilet to be clogged. And the room was much smaller than we expected.

I really enjoyed our stay. The sleep number bed was a bit strange but far more comfortable than many other hotel beds I have slept on in the past.

Service in the dining room was horrible. My room was not serviced. Ordered room service and it was delivered without eating utensils.

the rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were polite to my family. I would definitely book a stay here again.

My only complaint was with the bathroom; it was small and rather cramped. The stool was too close to the tub and the bathroom door and the vanity was cheap---no drawers just an open space with the pipes behind the doors.

I'm a single mom. This hotel was clean & I felt safe. I personally did not like the sleep number beds but other than that it was great.

Good Location and easy to get to. Free parking, We stayed on the executive floor, room was very nice and clean but no fridge. Very close to several places to eat. Would stay again here no problem. The only thing kinda annoying to me was room cleaning service didnt come by till almost 9pm. The staff at this hotel is very friendly and attentive. They make you feel welcome and want you to enjoy your stay. They are right on top of any little issue.

Upon checking in, the staff seems perfectly content to completely ignore me for 15 minutes. I just stood there in front of 3 people at the front desk, while they refused to acknowledge my existence. There was also a sticky gross spot in the carpet that made me not want my 17 month old on the floor. The single pane window had crazy amounts of condensation […] that my daughter discovered as a great way to get her shirt soaked. The peeling wall paper was nice too. I didn't get the room I reserved. I complained. They accommodated and upgraded me to the Executive level the following night, gave me a few drink tickets and a free dinner. They were sincere, polite, quick to resolve the issues and genuinely apologetic. I appreciated greatly the speed and handling of the issue.

though the bath area was rather small, it was sufficient for our needs & the rest of the room was more than adequate in size. Lovely decor, wonderful, good-flowing, hot shower. We had a great stay for Family Day at UTD. Even though it was OU weekend and the hotel was sold out, the lobby and bar area did not feel crowded. We enjoyed visiting with my daughter and her friends in the comfortable oversized chairs in the lobby before we went out to dinner. Love the free hot cookies upon checkin. Good value.

Hotel was nice, maid service was spotty. One out of 3 days they didn't come to room at all, I had to call two times just to get clean towels, forget about fixing the bed, washcloths, coffee, etc. If you don't care about maid service, the rest of the hotel is great. Clean, quiet, comfortable.

I was given a room with two beds even though I paid for one king-size bed. My trip was delayed and since it was after midnight I decided to stay in that room for the night and ask to be moved the next day. The bed was horrible. It is a sleep number bed so it is, basically, an air bed. The next day I was moved to a room with a king-size bed. The bed […] is just as bad but the room had a partition door. The guests next door got to their room in the middle of the night and were very loud. The air conditionier was not working so it was a hot night. It started working at around 5 in the morning. The shower head was loose but couldn't be tightened so I had to squat down to be able to wash my face and hair. I expect this of a hotel that costs less than what I paid for this one so I am disappointed. The personnel, however, were all great. They were friendly and all smiles. The hotel was over completely booked, they ran out of towels. Housekeeping came back into the room after they had cleaned an took out an additional towel that had been used but did not replace any leaving 4 people 1 towel for showering in the morning. It was a good location and very clean hotel. The room was very spacious. Was greeted with a warm cookie! The only thing I did not like was I was not given the option to choose what floor I preferred. We got stuck on the first floor

This hotel is old and has a bad 1970's vibe. I stayed here for its proximity to my client. Given what they have, the staff has done as good a job as possible making it presentable, and have at least maintained the cleanliness of the hotel.
