They charge $ 50 per night for parking. It is atrocious. I will never stay in Hilton again.

Fabulous hotel, right in the middle of the city. Grand entrance, comfy beds, spacious room, nice bathroom, friendly staff - AND a starbucks on site' what more could you want!

Everything's good except no in-room free wifi unless you're an AT

We travel to SF frequently, and have stayed in other hotels in Union Square, the area we enjoy best for shopping and dining. This hotel is centrally located, so we gave it a shot. We had an incredibly tiny room, although it was clean and tidy. Bathroom has the smallest counter I have ever seen (barely room for a makeup bag.. Anything else would have […] fallen into the toilet) and the door was just a sliding piece of frosted plastic that got stuck in the runner providing no privacy. There was an empty fridge in the room, but no minibar or bottled water. After a busy day and dining out, we came back to the hotel about 10:15. We wandered the halls trying to find water, a vending machine with soft drinks, anything as the gift shop was closed. Finally called front desk for info and they said the only water available was $14.50 a bottle. We settled for tap water. The next day our flight out was late in the day, we were able to stow bags. We returned later and hotel had hundreds of people filling the lobby. We could barely maneuver to pick up luggage. We wanted to make a stop in the ladies room before leaving and the ONLY restroom on lobby level was closed for maintenance. It was 6PM and again, hundreds of people congregating on that floor with no facilities. Great clean hotel. Only draw back is pricey parking but then again parking is expensive everywhere in Frisco.

I liked this hotel very much. I'm always pleased when I get a good room in San Francisco. We had a northern view on the 17th floor. The room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped with good toiletries, a coffee maker, a safe, etc. The bed was very comfortable. Firm. The large hotel lobby was always bustling with guests, and seemed to a place people […] enjoyed lounging in. A computer area with plugs and wifi was available and there was a Starbucks IN THE LOBBY. I found the hotel very convenient for my needs. I had a nearby seminar. It is also a good location for access to all transportation and Union Square Shopping. My only warning to potential guests new to SF, is that if you take one step to the West, you're in the Tenderloin. That area can be dangerous, or at the very least, annoying. You WILL have crack heads get in your face. We walked to dinner from the hotel to Japan town but we did it by walking up to Sutter and across. We still encountered people who made us a bit uncomfortable. But don't let the location keep you from staying here, just be careful. I'd stay here again, อ่านเพิ่มเติม

The Hilton near Union Square is rated a four star hotel - generally true, with some glaring exceptions. The lobby is the biggest turn off - it looks worse than the lounge area of a third world airport, and fells dirty. The room I was in (a junior suite) was large and adequately appointed - it was very very dark. It's window looked out over an interior […] courtyard and the lighting in the room was dark even with all the lights on (they must be using dim bulbs). I enjoyed my stay at the Union Square location. My room was in a remodeled part of the hotel and it was very nice. Unfortunately, my room was near the elevator, which was a little bit noisy, but not bad. I would stay here again.

The hotel was very nice , there were a lot of people all the time at the lobby. The room was very clean, the service was fine. The location was bothersome and at the same time good. The hotel is close to the down town area which can be unpleasant.

Valet service was terrible. After a long drive we sat in the car for 15 minutes waiting for a hotel valet to park our car. He was also rude when we asked for help with our luggage so we just wheeled it up ourselves. Very upsetting to start out a birthday trip.

I overall enjoyed the experience - the room was comfortable and had a modern feel. However, I was disappointed that the windows didn't do a better job insulating the room from outside sound. It was louder than I would have expected for a Hilton. It's also strange and annoying that room service isn't available after 12 am.

My family enjoyed our 2 night stay at Hilton. It was located in the Union Square downtown. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and professional and knowledgeable. It was well run Hotel management. The only thing I want to comment was the access to the elevators from our room. Although I requested our room to be close to elevator since it's a […] family stay, our room was very far away from the elevator. It was like 4 minute walk to the elevator from the room on the floor. You can imagine how big the floor is. The hallway was small and the floor plan permitted only one way swinging through all the rooms to get to the elevator. This hotel is located at an excellent spot. It is close to all of the downtown shopping areas without being right in the middle of everything. Apparently service takes a nosedive when they are busy. I t took me over 45 minutes just to check in because they were busy (long lines), and the room they sent me to first had a malfunctioning lock, so I could get in with the key (even after they reprogrammed it). The woman helping me was unpleasant and acted like the problem was my fault. All I wanted […] to do was get into a room, and after I had been to the 17th floor twice, stood in lines twice, and then was "testy" they put me into another room. They told me the first room was one of the "remodeled rooms" so I was looking forward to it, but the second one was clearly not. The carpet was old and dirty, the furnishings outdated (for a Hilton), and the bathroom floor was dirty with someone's hair on the floor (yuck). I was astounded when I arrived at the hotel, to find out that parking would cost an additional $53 per night....even for hotel guests! The receptionist told me, "we'll, you should have done more research!" After the first night, we moved our car to the parking lot directly across the street...which cost slightly less. The hotel is nothing special to talk about. I thought it was going to be nicer. I think the location is great, but there are several other hotels in the same area that are better quality.

It was a good stay breakfast was from 1 to 10 a 4. It was St Patrick's day so we were not able to sleep well at all because of the people next door. Overall view was nice hotel staff very accommodating.
