The hotel was clean and the staff nice. Conciere was fantastic help and pleasant the whole while. Only disappointment was, because of flight problems we arrived in early eveing instead of late morning and the King bedroom I had reserved was gone. None available that night. My only complaint was our room! We booked 3 king size bed rooms and when we checked in they gave us 3 double rooms! They said it was an "upgrade" for us because those rooms are 20 dollars more a night and they were "giving it to us! Well I'm sorry but u don't call it am upgrade when it's not getting what I want and booked.

I liked the hotel. It was a bit of a walk to the French Quarter, but it was nice to be in a quiet area when we got back to the room. The condition of the hotel was very good overall, but the bathroom walls seemed a bit thin, so that I could hear my roommate. I just turned the TV up louder.

Hotels.com and the Hilton need to communicate better. I booked 3 rooms with a "city or river view" for myself and my family (I had the hotel confirmation sheet with me). This being my first time in New Orleans, it was important to me to have a view. We waited to be checked in for approximately 20 minutes and then walked a long way through another building […] to our room only to find the window overlooked a small, unnactractive courtyard. When I called the desk, they said that I only had a "standard" room and that no other rooms were available. I would have to talk to Hotels.com to try to resolve the issue. Then I was transferred to another employee that somehow found 2 rooms that we could upgrade to although one of them was really just the view of a parking garage. The hotel rooms were very comfortable and the staff was awesome. The only complaint was noisy neighbors in the hall, but no fault of hotel. it only happened once. We were able to walk to attractions with our grandchildren and felt safe in the area.

No wi-fi in rooms!! Absurd! No morning newspaper. Parking too expensive.Stayed at Best Western the night before and paid half the price with wi-fi, free morning newspaper and room was just as clean and comfortable.

The Hilton was great! The location was close to everything and we were able to see everything we wanted to see by walking instead of driving.

The room that I stayed in was decent but pricey. The room was average but for the the price I had hoped for more. It was definately not the Bellagio in Vegas.

This hotel is located four blocks from the start of the French quarter and near everything . Check in is at 3pm and we arrived at 1 pm and the room was ready. Check out is 12 pm which is great as many people get a late start for breakfast. The hotel took out the jacuzzi but kept the pool which was heated. The Hotel was very clean and very nice. My only complaint would be that your layout of your hotel is very confusing for older people to figure out. Also the train runs beside your hotel which disturbs people in the middle of the night and early hours of the morning. The coffee shop you have in your lobby is not properly stocked daily. There was not much selection to eat for breakfast unless we ordered room service or went out which can be difficult for elderly people. My stay was nice. The room was okay. I have stayed at nicer hotels for this price. However, it is in the center of town and makes getting around easy. The parking situation was crazy to me. It took my boyfriend and I a while to find a parking spot in the garage and then when I checked in I was told that I had to pay $35 a night for parking. It wasn't […] a big deal but then when it was time to check out we were informed to leave the key to the room and the parking key in the room. However, when we went to leave we needed the parking key. There was a button to press if we had problems but no one ever answered. We had to catch someone in the garage who worked for the hotel to let us out with their key. Every time we go on a family vacation in New Orleans, we stay at Hilton Riverside. It's located in the perfect place so we can walk to wherever we want to go. The rooms are very nice. The coffee shop is delicious and so is Drago's!

The rooms smelt horrible like Mold smell. Called for somebody to come check the room and bring something to spray and nobody ever showed up. The bed sheets smelt like they was never washed either.. Won't stay back at this place!
