The hotel staff was very nice and courteous and made sure all our needs were met. We needed a room on the first floor due to my husband having difficulty walking the stairs. Afterall we were in Shreveport for him to have surgery the next morning. The only room they had on the first floor was a handicapped room, which they graciously gave us. We appreciate […] all they did for us and will be using them again when we go back for Dr. appointment checkups. Room was nice, clean and roomy. We were there for a dog show, and the hotel was very close to the show site. which was convenient. Also has easy access off interstate.

I would not stay here again. The room was nice enough, but all night long three semi trucks were parked outside my door with the engines on. They literally shook the room with their vibrations and only by keeping the heater/AC on full could I sleep at all--and even then the truck noise was very pronounced.

The room was OK but the bath tub would not drain, when we told the clerk all they said was sorry. Got woke up at 7:00 by ??something banging and got the same answer sorry. So as far as hotel it was clean enough but service was terrible. Would not recommend.

The staff was so friendly from the moment we walked in the doors. the room was completly clean and well maintained. everything worked great. will definitely stay here again.

I've stayed at several La Quinta Inn and enjoyed the experience enough to try the experience again. The expectaion was that it was not going to be fancy, but decent and safe. To make a long story short. I was on the side facing a neighborhood. The dog barked periodically throughout the day/night. It was windy and one of the panes of glass in our window […] had a gap in it and our door had no doorsweep. As a result, we heard the swirling wind and every other customer coming back to their room all night long. The chair in our room had a nice stain on it. If I sat in the bathroom, I could literally be part of the conversation in another room. Add in the train horn that will go off at 4 or 5 am, and it made for a very unenjoyable stay. Started at the Front Desk because they had the wrong name on the reservation and even though I had confirmation with me showing my name they argued and weren't going to give me a room. Walls paper thin could hear the "breathing" in the next room. Getting in and out of parking lot was difficult as there was a fence around a closed restaurant and didn't […] leave a turning radius. The LaQuinta in Bossier city was a straight shot to the cassinos,,,but the room smelled horrible, the neighborhood did not appear safe. quest were beating on doors, running up and down the ougtside of the rooms, loud. If was definately overpriced tool

This hotel is the best one that I've stayed at in Bossier City. It was very clean, very updated and modern, and very quiet. The hotel staff was excellent, and the continental breakfast was also very good. I've stayed at several hotels in Bossier City and this one is by far, the best.

All staff members were very friendly and willing to assist in anyway that they could to make our stay comfortable.

You get what you pay for, typical La Quinta. Not bad, next time I"ll probably stay closer to the boardwalk/casinos.

this Motel was great in every way except for not having any roll in showers at all.

we had requested a handy caped room for a person that is wheel chair bound in a motorized wheel chair, so a roll in shower was a must. we were told that this room would be available, as it turns out this Hotel does not have any roll in showers at all. wheel chair barely fit between the bed and dresser.

Didn't like what was at breakfast didn't eat anything all most all foods were bad for you and everywhere else they had coffee made all day and when I came in I found none!

No problems, which is why La Quinta will always be number 1 choice for hotel!!! Clean, friendly staff, good location... What more could you ask for??!!

the bed was very comfy. the noise level was great since we slept during the day. the only problem was that I had booked this hotel specifically for the free internet and the first day it didn't work. The hotel staff informed me that I had to call the internet service to get it up and running. Everything else was great.

It was comfortable. Need a lot more parking. Very limited.

Clean room, comfortable bed, excellent TV, iron, writing table, refri, microwave, etc, a very good value for the price. My only complaint is the thick pillows. Yes they give you 5 per bed, which is great, but they were all real thick. Asked for a non smoking room, told it was but smelled of smoke. Lady at counter told us that they didn't have any other non smoking rooms, so she sprayed it to smell better. Upon checking out (different clerk) she mentioned that she saw we requested a non smoking room but was given a smoking.

We were kept awake most of the night with screamimg hotel guests outside in the courtyard. I guess some people think that because this hotel is close to casinos, they have the right to continue their parties all night at the hotel.

My family and I stayed one night at this hotel, in a standard double room. The room was very clean, and the beds were really comfortable. When we walked into the lobby, a very friendly staff member greeted us, and every employee we met was professional and courteous. The continental breakfast was great - belgian waffles, fruit, cereal, juice, yogurt. […] And you cannot beat the price! Very affordable! I would definitely stay here again. The only warning I would give is that the hotel rooms all open to the outside. This was not a problem for us, and we never felt unsafe. VERY VERY friendly staff. Nice size room and bathroom. Good location

Very clean and nice for the price. Near the casinos. I wasn't looking to stay a long time in the hotel, so my choice was perfect. I was able to get a good night sleep which was what I needed.

We stayed in room 158, it was very loud. We could here every word from the room behind us. The shower was in very bad shape and the tub was like walking on a water bed. Cheap plastic tub, when you step in water shot out the bottom even when the water was off. Old tv with bad reception. The key system was a joke, very hard to open door.

Bad location/neighborhood, poor reception desk clerk, rooms not available for check-in until almost 6:00 pm. Won't go back.

We just wanted to get away for a much needed weekend. It was nice.

had a pleasant experience at this hotel. for the price this hotel was worth the stay and the staff was extremely helpful and polite. had only one complaint and that was I asked the front desk for an extra blanket because comforter on bed was not very thick and they did not have any. but other than that would stay here again

La Quinta in Bossier City was a nice place to stay. The front desk workers were very helpful and nice and the room was clean and comfortable.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. If you want a 5 star experience - stay at an expensive hotel. This hotel was worth the money; it was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was basic fare but good and saved us from having to go out to eat.

Upon checking in, the clerk verified that my room was non-smoking with two double beds. I inquired as to the possibility of paying more to upgrade to have either a Queen or King size bed and was told that was nothing available. I questioned her a second time and said I'd gladly pay to upgrade, and she again said that was not an option. I asked her if […] the hotel was totally booked up and she said that it was. I later learned from the General Manager that the hotel was NOT booked up (which was obvious by the fact that there were only three cars in the parking lot) and that I should have been allowed to move to a room with a Queen or King size bed at no additional charge. My room was clean & neat and the bed was extra comfortable. And my cat stayed legally for FREE! Other than checkout, the only hotel personnel I had contact with was the night clerk. Several times I went to the office to get info on nearby restaurants and shopping. The night clerk was on the phone every time I went to the office and as far as info she […] was virtually useless. I ased if there was a rack with brocheres on the area & she said no. Happened upon it myself next to the coke machine. Since she didn't know much about anything I decided to use the yellow pages but there was no phonebook in my room. Asked if she had an extra & she said no. I had to ask to use the front desk copy because she didn't offer it. At checkout, I did mention to the day manager that their night clerk left much to be desired and got the impression that she was aware of this & planned to handle it. Loved that the hotel was conveniently located to everything...did have a major problem with the room and linens smelling like cigarette smoke...

The hotel wasn't in a bad part of town but it was not the greatest. However the staff was friendly and the hotel was nice and clean. I thought I had picked a great place to stay until midnight when a dog next door to me began barking. After 10 minutes I called the front desk who said they would try to figure it out. The barking continued for 20 more […] minutes. 10 minutes later our phone rang in our room waking up our baby and someone hung up. Then they called again and hung up. 1am rolls around and we are finally sleeping a train horn wakes us up. I never went to sleep until 4am because every 30 minutes a train was rolling through blowing its horn so loud it sounded like they were going to come through the hotel. The hotel did their best but I was paying for a good nights sleep and I got the exact opposite. Ok place to stay for a night or two. Nothing fancy. Staff was nice.

The only complaint I have about this motel is that our room wasnt cleaned the second day. We left the room about 1230 and returned shortly before 5 to find an unmade bed and no clean towels.

We reserved this hotel and were going to be arriving late at 8 or 9PM. I called La Quinta and they contacted the hotel themselves to advise them of my late arrival. However, upon arrival at 8:45PM the hotel was almost out of rooms and they had to search for a room for us. They found one and had to call the manager to come in off duty to get us a rollaway […] bed as the room only had one bed.
