This hotel was horrible. The first room we were in was not clean at all. Someone just thrown the bed sheet back on and said done. The bathroom had water all over the floor and the bathtub was black. The carpet was filthy. The second room. The lock on the main door was broken. The bathroom door didn't even close, it had a huge crack. The a/c didnt work […] welll. My 3yr old found some pills (don't know what they were) on the side of the bed by the night stand. Thank God she brought it to me. The continental breakfast was very nice, although the space was a little small for the size of the motel. All the employees with whom I came in contact were gracious and helpful. The room was clean and the beds and pillows very comfortable and there was a discount offered for dining at the nearby Denny's.

This hotel is not same as other LaQuinta Suites i have stayed. Room was smelly, not very clean, found Aircondition was not working properly, Clock was unplugged, Phone was not working either. I had to call front desk through my cell phone. I had reservered room from hotels.com and and went to hotel in 10 minutes and she said how i reserved room we dont […] have any double bed available. Filthy dirty hotel dodgy people and neighborhood. People in room next door had sex so loudly all night that it scared my children. They thought someone was being murdered! Couldn't wait to get out of there

The system was down when I checked in and I had 2 people try to get in the room while I was there. The lady at the front desk really needed help. The rooms are clean and breakfast was good. The hotel is within walking distance to restaurants.

It was difficult to find because its pretty far back on a service road. The beds were horribly uncomfortable. We had driven for 11 hours and all I wanted to do was sleep and I basically got no sleep because the bed was terrible.

Decent & cleen place to spend the night. Though I normally prefer Hotels, it was convenient to be able to park directly in front of my room. The room was very clean and the bed/bedding was comfortable. The AC unit was loud, but that is fine for me because I like the "white" noise.

Great location and a friendly, helpful staff. The room was comfortable but a little run down. The carpet was filthy and my feet turned black just walking to the bath. Overall a good value due to location.

We were disgusted with the first room they gave us. Front Desk clerk got us another room after I called and complained. The second room was a lot better; which led to this question: If they had a room that was in good condition available, why did they give us the crappy room to begin with? We don't recommend doing business with this hotel at all.

The first room had a leaking toilet so they put us in a new room and THAT toilet leaked too. We weren't going to be spending any time int he room though so it didn't deter us a second time. Postives: The bed and pillows were comfortable. Negatives: The toilet area smelled of urine and I cleaned stuck-on stuff off the toilet lid with Lysol wipes I brought with me. The two chairs in the room did not match and the back of the one I sat in broke. There were large obvious areas in need of touch paint jobs.

The La Quinta in Mobile was very nice. The room was very nice and clean. We enjoyed our stay very much and will surely return.

This was one of the nastiest hotels I've ever stayed in. We had to change our room 4 times, due to strong pungent odors and leaking in the rooms. I would never ever stay there again!

Almost everything in the room had stains, including the sheets, floor, and tub.

The overall appearance of this hotel was okay (that’s being polite). The electricity went out around 11 p.m. and didn't come back on until 2 a.m. By midnight there where around 10 adults outside of my room cussing, rapping and using improper language so loudly that it woke my husband, myself and my 2 young children. The next morning I went to inform the asst. manager and he said he knew about it and that some other guest left in the middle of the night because of the disturbance. The carpet and dresser had a white powdery substance on it. Not sure what it was. Other than that the staff was very nice.

Could be cleaner but bottom line the people that work there are great :) I would stay again

Probably best available in Mobile in that price range, but just has a left-over feel to it. Maintenance has been neglected on what once was a top-tier LaQuinta facility. Floors cruddy and was approached by a panhandler who lived in one of the rooms. Won't stay there again.

We stayed just one night not to much to say.

If this is the representation of a La Quinta hotel, then I would never stay at one. The hotel not only was questionably clean. It is what it is...a stop over, one nighter type of motel. The parking lot is shared with a Denny's, Waffle House, others and is noisy. Was awaken once by some seriously loud "rap" music in the parking lot...it turned out to be an employee's car. Clean rooms and good location

I found my room on the second floor to be quite spacious and accomodating. Upon check-in I did notice that it was hot in the room, but after a thermostat adjustment that was quickly corrected. The bed was large and comfortable with clean linens and was neatly made, the shower was clean and plenty of towels were availiable. Having the stem iron and full […] ironing board was an extra benefit. The shower was nice, plenty of hot water and strong water pressure. The water was a bit hard but having lived in Mobile before I expected that. A con to this visit would have to be the proximity of the ice and vending machines from my room and the fact that the upstairs entrance to the vending area locked at 11PM and did not allow for room key access, thus having to hike down to the downstairs area that had room key access. In addition to that the towels were a bit rough and the batteries in my remote were dead which turned out to not be that big of a deal because i did not spend much time watching television. The breakfast was more than adequate, however the breakfast dining area was much too small for the number of people who were trying to dine there at 7:30 A.M when it started. It would be nice if that area could be expanded to accomodate a larger number of patrons. Getting to the hotel was not a problem, but leaving it by way of Airport blvd can be a bit of a challenge if you do not time it correctly. I suggest taking the beltline around to government blvd and re connecting with airport blvd there. It is much easier and safer especially if you are not familiar with the traffic patterns and congestion of the city. There are several restaurants and entertainment venues near the hotel that are in walking distance. I noticed during this visit that mobile does not have a shortage of eateries and they are all along a 4 mile stretch of highway. It was a pleasant stay. It was convent to shopping, resturants, and the relatives we were there to visit. Will stay here again and again

hotel service was extremely poor. room smelled. doors to lobby are locked form certain hours so getting ice or to lobby wasnt easy stay away from this place

We was there for a funeral. every thing was with in half mile, places to eat good and several to chouse from.

Quick check in and out, convenient to dining and interstate. Have paid far more for less. I re-scheduled my return trip to stay here and will do so again on next trip east.

Your within walking distance to a large mall plenty of restaurants. Guest service was great.Our room was clean and the continental breakfast was good.

We stayed at this LaQuinta for business. Did not spend alot of time in the room, but it was clean and comfortable. We were traveling in a big truck and parking could have been an issue since the motel's parking lot is shared with a Denny's restaurant but we were able to find parking each night.
