Only stayed for a night but its ok you. Won't be staying there most of the time anyways, close to hotels sand boardwalk if you have the ride

Free shuttles to the Trop is a good deal

Nasty, dirty, no phone no a/c Not worth the price

Im not rich, so Travel Lodge works with my budget and more money. It's close to the Atlantic City boardwalk, which is great! So, if you're on a budget and having more money gamble is important to you then Travel Lodge is great. They have a great continential breakfast!!!!

My wife and I along with our two young children stayed at this hotel recently for 5 nights. We booked and came with an open mind and if you have this approach, you really will have a good stay. We got a fantastic rate and as such, bearing that in mind the hotel really is top notch for the price! The location was perfect for us. It’s both apart of Atlantic […] City, being 5 minutes drive away down Black Horse Pike/ route 40 which is right outside the hotel and a part from Atlantic City, being on the outskirts and located in Pleasantville. The hotel is conveniently located for us as we had our own transport and did not want to be restricted to Atlantic City. We wanted to do things in the surrounding area like Cape May etc so the location was perfect. We considered staying in one of the hotel city resorts but the rates were well out of budget costing more in one night than in some cases then what we paid for 5 days here. You also have to pay parking charges on top. At the Travelodge there was plenty of parking and it was free! Check-in was fast and effortless. The lobby was clean and typical for this kind of hotel. All the front of house staff were polite, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable about the area and welcoming at all times. Some of the staff had the patience of saints and really went out their way to make people happy. I can remember during our stay one staff member was getting grief from a guest who paid the lowest rate possible but was not happy with her room and was demanding extras and better views. The staff member was politely trying to explain that they were paying the cheapest rate and it was kind of hard for her to favour that guest over others who were going to be paying more. I do believe they upgraded her view in the end to keep her happy but it does annoy us sometimes when people should know exactly what they have booked but then moan like hell and demand 6 stars when they arrive. The price was right,breakfast was decent and eating outside on the deck overlooking the bay was nice.No fridge or microwave in room but we were prepared with a large cooler.There is plenty of free ice and microwaves in the breakfast areas to use if needed.for what we payed.we were satisfied and would return.

The location is good, very easy to travel to and from Atlantic city. The hotel is kind of old, but clean, and free internet, and breakfast. Also there is a refrigerator in the room, which made me very happy. Only drawback is there is no coffee maker in the room, we want to cook some hot water.

Myself and 6 other people stayed there on 07/22/11 for 1 night. We had 2 rooms, one room the beds were a bit shabby and concave in the center, but it did have a microwave and refrigerator. Meanwhile the other room, had better beds but not microwave & refrigerator. We really did enjoy the convenience of the shuttle bus for the late night trips! The only thing I can say bad about the hotel doing my stay was that they were short staff when it came to cleaning the rooms I had. It took all day to clean 5of the rooms we had other than that everything was ok.

2 days since we checked out and I am still scratching myself due to all the bed bugs. Stay away from this place unless you are looking for something eal cheap and bed bugs/being next to a swamp does not bother you much :)

This hotel is the equal of any motel on the Black Horse pike. The room and bedding was clean. I liked the indoor lobby and indoor access to rooms, a good secure feeling. Had a micro, fridge, and safe.Everything worked properly. Good place to stay for the price.

I purchased a room with Travelodge because we were going to a concert at Harrah's and didn't want to spend $200-400 on a night and figured we could stay there and take a taxi in. First, we had a hard time finding the place and when we called the receptionist, Andrew, could not give us any directions and was quick to get us off the phone. After driving […] around another 10-15 minutes we called back and got another more helpful person. We pulled in and outer appearances were a bit frightening but walking in, it was air conditioned and had a beach house feel. The line at the front desk was long, with only Andrew working, although we could see many other employees behind the counter. Heading to our room there were stains in the carpet and overheard maintenance being called about something "red" in the pool. We entered our room and it smelled kind of funny but appeared clean. We had no issues once in our room, other than the smell. I wish our bathroom had more counter space (we had the rim of the sink and the back of the toilet for storage). The rooms and pool were very clean and the price was great. However, the room didn't have a refrigerator or microwave. The bathroom vent and the lamp on the table didn't work. great hotel for the money.

The Travelodge worked out well for us. Got a very low hotels.com rate (although non-refundable) for a Fri/Sat/Sun night stay and we were not disappointed. Please keep in mind this is a two star motel and we had fairly low expectations coming in, but as I said we were not disappointed! The staff, including the front desk and the maid service, was on […] top of it. The room was clean and comfortable, if unspectacular, but very good for the price. The only real complaints are there is no fridge and/or microwave in the rooms, the TV worked but was very old, and the walls were pretty thin (although they are in most hotels and motels). On the more positive side, the continental breakfast was adequate and we enjoyed the free shuttle bus down to the Tropicana Hotela and Casino although it only runs about every two hours. The hotel doesn't look like anything in the pictures on the website, it's much older. Room was big, TV didn't work. Small bathroom. I recommend paying the extra money and actually staying at a nicer place in Atlantic City.

Excellent room rate for the 4th of July weekend, especially for a three night stay. Good location to all Atlantic city attractions, casinos, entertainment , the beaches and the boeardwalk. Hotel looked nice, rugs need to be changed or cleaned because there was an old smell as you first enter and stains on them but rooms looked clean and beds looked clean. Fresh towels given only if you throw them on floor/ask for them. Pool was clean and a nice size. Free breakfast was served.

Great hotel really, breakfast was ok but no internet and pc use. The bus stop right outside takes you to AC which is great but the shuttle which is free from the hotel is poor. The driver is useless. He expects tips when he should really tip you!

I stayed here since it was inexpensive and close to Atlantic City area. Upon my arrival at 7pm, the room I was granted was not serviced(Beds were not made, bathroom unclean, etc) Staff immediately granted a second room, in which my electronic key did not work for. After reading the reviews on here I was scared to stay here. After experiencing it for myself, it is not bad at all. It's nothing fancy but it's clean and comfortable. The staff are nice and it's a good hotel. Our room had a nice view of the ocean. There's also a clean pool area that overlooks the ocean. Hotel front desk personnel are the nicest people, very accommodating and polite. But the hotel is rundown, dirty, noisy, looks like large families stay on a long term basis, kids running up and down the hall ways. We couldn't sleep all night with the noise and people trying to get into our room by accident. The hotel is convenient to get to the casinos […] but it rained the night we were there and that stretch of the road was flooded, so we couldn't get back in until very late when the water receded. The hotel itself can surely use some upgrades as far as condition, and maintenance. The elevator is scary and the rooms are outdated. However the staff made up for the difference. Cleanliness of rooms, catering to our needs and overall customer service. I don't recommend the breakfast and the virtual tour is outdated. we were given te key to te wrong room at check in. We walked in on a couple having sex

The saying 'you get what you pay for' absolutely applies in this case. I need a place to stay for one night and felt since it was ONLY one night (arriving after midnight) that this would be acceptable. Unfortunately, I had the opportunity to see two rooms in this hotel. I took a shower in the first room and the drain in the tub did not work. I requested […] to be moved, at least the drain in the tub worked in the second room but there was dirt and dust on the baseboard in the bathroom that appeared to be there for a lifetime. We really enjoyed our stay there. When we visit again we will probably come back to the same hotel. I like the location. I also love the fact that the shuttle to the board walk was available.

We stayed one night. The pool was quite disappointing but everything was fair enough considering the price, definitely a good deal.

you can say horrible hotel rooms - bathroom - blanket - mattress - breakfast - service reception everything below standards. we regret - we shuld have booked comfort inn or motel 8

the phone in the room was not only missing buttons it did not work. some of the outlets did not work and the room had a moldy, musty smell.

This hotel and Atlantic city is a DUMP!!! When my s/o and I arrived in Atlantic City I just knew we were going to have a great time, well that wasn't the case. The outside of the hotel is quite deceiving, once you enter the hotel there is a foul odor inside of it and the carpet is EXTREMELY dirty. It get's worse, the inside of the hotel room was just […] TERRIBLE! Mold in the bathroom, curtains torn, dirty walls, filty carpet and of course there was a terrible odor inside the room. One other thing, the bathroom is tiny, everytime we took a shower water ended up on the floor and the water smells just like the air.
