First of all hotel is well located. MTR station next door to access all Singapore. China town within walking distance (10min) and restaurants & night life (Clarke Quay) basicly when stepping out of the hotel doors. Close to Clarke Quay and a Metro Rapid Transit Station. Well kept up and good service. Room was very nice. I would definitely go back to this hotel.

We stayed for 4 nights. It is a fairly ok hotel, but the rooms need refurbishing, especially the bathrooms. The pool area is nice, and the breakfast buffet is quite good. Service is friendly.

The Reception staff was not very courteous, when they found that I had a pre-paid booking through hotels.com They were not ready to provide me better view rooms on a higher floor, although they were not full. No FREE WIFI, which is surprising in this Cyber world and when Singapore Airport offers FREE WIFI. Not a very friendly and welcoming place.

We stayed at the hotel in Dec 2011. Excellent location right next to the MRT and Singapore river (Clark Quay). Many restaurants along the banks of the Singapore river. It doesn't feel as if you are staying in a city. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and can highly recommend this hotel.

The only thing good about this hotel is location! The rest is a mediocre hotel which boasts the Swiss hospitality to no evidence. As start, the AC in our room was not functioning well, and the repair took over an hour in the middle of the night! They did offer to change the room, but my mother was asleep and to move our stuff in the middle of the night […] would be a hustle. The SPA does not employe enough people. We were staying for 3 days and no single occassion any therapist was available. We ordered the kimono which did not come to our room until I complaint several times. Then, the kimono purchase was not included in our hotel bill. We were nice enough to remind them. One of the waitress was rude enough not to let us use the connecting door to reach Clark Quay, thanks God there were other nice waitresses who showed us the shortest way to get out. The glory days for this hotel has passed. It did not live up to my expectations of a swissotel especially when it comes to maintenance and cleaning, but maybe my expecttions were too high. Location is great however.

Close to evening party areas as well as Chinatown and little india, with great service and facilities.

The location of hotel is good. Within 3mins walk to the nearest station and in front of Clarke Quay. The room is clean and the bathroom is comfort. The only annoying product is the room card. Quite often is doesn't work. You need to try and try patiently. Overall it is still a great hotel with a reasonable price. Recommended.

The website said it was close to clarke quay, but our room overlooked the whole quay, awesome location. and it is a short walk to china for cheap tucker as well!

HOTEL - check in is at 3pm and you cannot check in unless a room is available (we had to beg and the best we got was a 1pm check in). Great location, directly on Clarke Quay, next to MRT station. The hotel was comfy but room in 4th floor had no view of the city but the wall of opposite building. Not worth of money spent. Pool was nice, as well as the breakfast.

I found the hotel quite expensive, but the room was a good size, comfy bed and large bathroom - also clean. What was excellent was the location as it was just next to the train station and also just over the road from all the bars and restaurants. We got the train from the airport which was cheap, then used this to get around the city. Everything was […] a short train ride away form the hotel so was perfect for the 2 days we were in Singapore. Situated in the heart of Clarke Quay it is within easy walking distance to many and varied restaurants and shopping. Less then $9.00 taxi ride to Little India, Orchard Rd, Singapore Flyer, Chinatown, Marina Bay. Room had a balcony and was very clean and comfortable. We finished our cruise in Singapore. Only $40 SD from the cruise terminal for four of us by taxi. Close to Chinatown and located next to Clarke Quay on the Singapore river. Vibrant eating and walking area after dark. The Hotel was excellent. Service outstanding. Loved it.

My hubby and I stayed there for the first time. I must say it's a rustic hotel but elegant. The location is really very ideal for couples our age and with grown kids. Grand, luxurious with style and comfort; staff were overwhelmingly helpful and eager to please. Facilities were second to none, with the availabilty of a gymnasium, pool spa & sauna.

This place is nice - have stayed here twice now. Location is great, pool is fab. We need two rooms and would prefer interconnecting BUT every time we request such a thing - they can never guarantee. Great Location. Walk to water and restaurants. 15 minutes walk to Chinatown.A little slow to check in. Clean rooms.Staff were friendly and supplied info when asked. However they didnt volunteer anything.

Good facilities; clean; good customer service. Recommend staying in a room away from the lifts as noise of people carries. We will stay again, but probably in a business advantage room higher up. Good, cheap local eateries nearby; walking distance to Chinatown and Clarke Quay; very convenient location.

On a very early arrival to Singapore, after a long flight, we were delighted to be told our room was ready. Service from all staff, from arrival to departure, was excellent - could not fault this hotel for our stay and would certainly choose this hotel to stay again in Singapore.

I staid in a king-bed room on the executive floor. The breakfast in the lounge and evening happy hour with light fare was great. The location on Clark Quay is perfect. It is close to the metro and also plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Fort Cannon park is also nearby and good for a scenic stroll. Excellent hotel and room for the price. Brilliant location for the Quays - its right opposite Clarke Quay. The only potential drawback is that our first room overlooked Clarke Quay and noise could be heard from it in the room late at night, however we were swiftly moved to a quieter room. The service was impeccable.

Staff are friendly, service is top class and the Hotel is a fun place to stay.

We stayed with your children just for a short break before they went back to school.The location is great for sighseeing and dining out. As it is so close to the river restaurants, you will also enjoy nightclubs, right next door, pumping out music or karaoke until the late hours.Obviously I didnt know this, and my kids and us couldnt get to sleep till […] very late.So, the trade off for thi shotel was their great kids pool and its location via the river. The locations of the Swissotel Merchant Court was great for our 2 days exploring the city. We had everything we needed right near the hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly.

A fantastic hotel, from service to facilities everything was of a very high standard. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location right on Clark Quay for resaurants and nightlife. MRT at doorstep means getting around is simple, quick and cheap. Hotel staff are friendly & helpful and pool overlooking Singapore river is great.

This is a lovely hotel and set on Clark Quay. The overall service here is excellent although booking in did take a while as it appeared that training of new personnel was taking place. I stayed in an executive level room as I was only staying for one night and wanted breakfast included and this was the only option available to me. The one night cost […] me £276 including all taxes and service charges. It was expensive to say the least but as I was only staying the one night I decided to spoil myself. II could have had a Courtyard Suite at Raffles for another £25 and in hindsight I wish I had, as the room (#1043) was small but tastefully furnished. There was no hot water when I showered on arrival but I survived. There is complimentary free Internet in the executive rooms and free drinks and snacks in the Executive Lounge on the 11th floor between 6pm and 8pm of whick I took advantage which are more selling points I suppose. All in all I enjoyed my stay there and would stay again if only for the one night but for a longer stopover I would choose another hotel but Clark Quay hotels are similarly priced so would have to be an alternative location. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Having flown from Heathrow, we weren't ready for the slack check-in procedures, where the desk person discovered that there were no non-smoking queen beds available (that was our stated request, some weeks earlier), so we were kept waiting for some time while several of them juggled things. The internet service was adequate but badly overpriced at […] some $19 for 24 hours (and the wifi didn't work). We had booked without breakfast and when we decided to eat there on the second morning, we were asked to sign for full buffet at $62 (for 2). We only wanted continental, and were assured we could order a la carte. We did, and found ourselves charged $58 for muesli, coffee and orange juice. A single beer, ordered at the poolside, was $18. Next time, we'll go back to the Novotel, just across the river. It had views, far better service and far more reasonable charges. We used this hotel as a stopover from Frankfurt. Staff were excellent, appointments terrific and overall a great place for a stopover or a holiday as the facilities are first class
