Nice premium hotel in the heart of Houston. Beds were comfortable and the linens were super soft. Had to pay for parking & Internet which I hate about high end hotels. Valet team was very nice. Front desk staff less than friendly. Night auditor appears ready for a career transition. Hair dryer wouldn't turn off unless you unplugged it. Everything was great except there wasnt a working coke machine in the whole building and the continental breakfast costs $13. WTH?? Yes, $13 for a bowl of Cheerios and a pastry. You can pay a lil bit less and get a good hot breakfast though. For the price the room was outstanding

The hotel was very nice and the hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I will defintely stay again if I am in the area. The shuttle service was fantastic.

Stayed overnight so that we could attend a party without concern over driving. The hotel gave a great rate and is very acceptable. Two things did excel, the shuttle service will take you to downtown locations and pick you up. The bed was very comfortable.

First I was very disappointed that the TV offered no movies to watch that you pay for additionallly, I travel on business and I could not believe your hotel did not offer that service. Then the TV went out on me could not turn off or change stations. The maintenance man came knocking on my door after midnight and I told him it was ok as for a moment […] it worked, then it went back to the guide and would not let me change stations again, so Sunday morning was a wash for watching TV. The worst thing was I misplaced my cell phone when I was in the restaurant, I called immediately and was told no one found it, I was very worried as that phone had alot of personal data on it, I called first thing next morning, no one had seen it, I walked down to the desk, front desk person called down to security, no one had seen it, I was told it was hotel policy, all missing items be taken down to lost and found, I was about to give up after worrying for hours and I walked over to the concierge's desk and they had it, I was thankful but if hotel policy had been followed, it woudl have saved me hours of undue stress, I will not stay there again. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Overall we had a great stay. Service was great, people were great, and buffet breakfast was awesome. Cookies at check-in is a nice touch. Suite 1730 was spacious but the AC needs filters changed and does not blow in the room correctly. Also one of the wooden chairs at the table needs repairing. Great room with a view. Hotel shuttle took us to the Hobby Center.The only negative was putting our bar tab on the room & the bartender not accepting it & telling us our credit card was only for anything in the room (which was wrong). Upon leaving I checked out & received a receipt for the overnight parking. My husband had gone outside to have them […] bring the car & they had given us the wrong color parking receipt when we checked in & they had him pay for the parking again. I was lucky enough to get one of the rooms in the corner with windows all around. From the 17th floor the view was great! I loved my glass room! The wine was good, the food decent, the bed very comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful. A coat of paint or new wallpaper could improve the surface areas. We had great service from the hotel staff including a ride down to the Toyota Center to watch the Rockets game which was a nice touch. Only there for one night but all the staff were very helpful, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the location was as convenient as can be in a city as sprawling as Houston!

For the price we paid, the hotel was not that great. My sister and I went to Houston for spring break. It was an amazing hotel and the service and overall feel was excellent. However, our room was very awkward. All was great, but the rooms are lacking a mini fridge. The ice machine was located nearby. On a brighter note our room was on the 19th floor with a great view of downtown. I had never tasted the cookie and it was great as well.

kinda disappointed that there wasnt a refrigerator in the room there were only 3 elevators and it took for too long to get our room for the same reason. I did love that they took To our Restaurant courtesy of the hotel

I used to work in the tower next door to the DoubleTree so I was already very familiar with it. Excellent service, super comfortable beds, an a great view (depending on location). Easy access to freeways and downtown businesses. Light Rail is a reasonable 10-12 min walk.

The only thing I believe they can improve is to add more coffee, sugar, cream in the room. They only leave two exactly for each room if you want a little more coffee when you get up your bed or if you make a mistake making it....that is, you need to call the from desk to ask for more supply. We were given the corner room on the 10th floor, no walls, just windows. So lots of windows, nice view! I love the room. The free warm chocolate and nut cookies are great too!

The staff was very helpful and made me feel welcome. The restaurant was hidden from view. I assume it was downstairs somewhere. All I could see of it was a posted, expensive menu. The hotel did offer a 20% discount in the restaurant for all hotel guests. The bar area was completely exposed, with immediate access available.

The room and location are great. There are a couple of BUTS. 1. Noise from adjoining room was bad . . . and our neighbor was not even noisy. The set up was a pass through door so maybe that's why. Last time I was here this WAS NOT a problem. This time it was. Glad she and her son went to bed early. Not good though. 2. I stayed on a Saturday night. Came […] down to lobby area in the morning. The seating area was still littered (literally) with bar area stuff from the previous evening (was not the case on my previous visit). No one had, as yet (8:00 am) cleaned up the area. Very friendly and helpful. The shuttle drivers were very willing to take me anywhere downtown and very easy to arrange a ride back home. This is a great downtown hotel.

We attended an dinner dance there the wait staff was very nice and pleasant the staff overall was courteuous the only thing was our neighbors very loud and obnoxious but we didi nt complain and it was an chargwe of $34.00 on my bill which I knew 15.00 was for overnight parking .
