The customer service was terrible, and they charged $1.50 each to swim in a cold pool. I'll never go back!!!

The hotel is conveniently located. The rOoms were on the small side, but very clean! I didnt like how the manager talked to the desk clerk in front Of me at check in. Slightly rude to the other employee. Aside from being put off by that encounter the hotel was suitable.

Tiniest room I've ever stayed in. Internet didn't work. Coffee in lobby was cold, no lids for the cups.

Had to pay 1.50 extra each time to use the pool. I believe if you book a motel with a pool the pool should be included. Disgusting!!!

I had to call three times to get a crib for our room and hours later I still didn't have the crib. My boyfriend finally went down to get it and they said they didn't have any left. They had to go down to the boiler room and dig one out.

Hotel was clean and the staff was very nice. You have to pay $1.50 per person to swim. The free breakfast was a nice touch, and the location was great.

The rooms are small but you cannot beat the price considering there are 2 hot tubs, a sauna and pool w/ waterslide for the kids!

The room was so small,the table was up against the bed on one side and only about two feet on the other side to the wall,the bath room also wall very tiny.I guess if you buy a budget room from Hotels .com this is what you get,as we have stayed at other HoJo's and been happy with the rooms.Lesson learned.

The Howard Johnson in Billings, Montana is a great place to stay!!! I highly recommend it to anyone who has to stay overnight in Billings. The room rate was great! every thing was great coffee and donuuts, waffles were great little noisy saturday night but we slept good considering we drove over 600 miles thank you and hope we will stay at one of your locations soon happy holidays thanks.

there was a 1.50 charge for swimming a day

We were disappointed with the heater in the room because of the noise. The last two nights we were in the room, we un-plugged the heater to better sleep. Overall the experience was not dissatisfying.

Needed a room in Billings and the other choices were not available. Got talked into this one and it sucked. It is also a weekly rate hotel and is full of wild and screaming kids running up and down the halls into the wee hours of morning. Cheap towels, noisy wall heater, one thin blanket, and the overall condition had me washing my hands often.

we had a room...little WiFi service, small room. Requested help with internet...they moved us closer to the router...bigger room, no charge for the upgrade. Was nice.

The first room had an unpleasant odor, but the staff were quick and considerate to change the room at our request.

The room was missing the TV remote and the hotel staff could not find one that worked, so we were unable to enjoy the channels we like.

The staff were super friendly and very helpful and accomodating. We felt very welcome at the hotel!! The waterslide and hot tubs were great as well! The hotel hallways could have been a bit cleaner, but it was still at an acceptable level. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a family and a cheap place to stay that was worth your money!

Having stayed in HJ motels before with satisfactory accomodations, we were both upset with the conditions of this motel. Management much needed.

We asked for non-smoking room and at first did not get it. Had to call the desk to request another room. Second room was small. Did not have room to even move the suitcase.

When we arrived, everything was good except the first night the bed was slanted. We found out the next morning that whoever stayed there before us must have broken the bed on 1 side. We had left a note to have the bed fixed and that they could come and straighten up the room. When we arrived back at the room that evening, the bed was not made nor was […] there anything done to the room. After letting the front desk know about the situation, they informed us that they would contact the manager to get things fixed. After waiting about and hour or 2 there was no response. The desk worker in the two mornings that we stayed had too much to take care of and thus did a bad job in all areas. The breakfast was a diaster the first morning. The second morning the worker received a phone call from a disgruntled guest and she could be heard with responses all over the eating area. Her voice was very gruff. I don't know why so many people have bashed this motel in the reviews. This is an acceptable place to stay for the price. Let's be clear that this isn't the Hilton so don't go in expecting it to be. The room was clean and had a fridge, microwave, tv, and the internet was fine. Granted the tile on the bathroom floor looked like it could be updated and […] there may have been a nick in the paint, but those were small. The location was good and close to resturants. The staff was nice and they didn't charge us to use the pool. They just asked that we get wrist bands at the front desk. If anything the breakfast is very carb. heavy. We recently stayed at the Howard Johnson in Billings, MT. We were put into a room that smelled like smoke. We went to the front, they gave us a new..NEXT DOOR to the original. We asked for non-smoking and both rooms had ashtrays present. The front desk people were unpleasant to myself and other customers. Breakfast bar needs lots of improvement. No fruit , limited supply of anything. Juice was not real stuff. Coffee did not have a good taste, News was on TV, but could not hear as radio at desk was blareing vary loud.

Though the pool cost and extra $1.50 for each of us(I do not know if there is a charge for children), it was well worth it. The water slide was a nice treat after driving all day. Supposed to have freidge and micro. in rm. brought day later. Didn't clean room until afternoon. Too much gap under door...lots of noise. Poor continental breakfast...left overs. POOR

I couldn't get the wifi to work in my room.

Room was fine, but quite small. Otherwise room and area was fine.

Good location good breakfast, friendly staff. We will stay here again.

The gals at the front desk were super nice & accommodating but the overall facility was just horrifically dirty!

For a Howard Johnson, it was average with the exception that the facility is getting old. The room we were in was in obvious need of repairs from prior water damage. Overall the facility wasn't that bad in spite of the repairs needed. But for the nightly rate, it really should have been better...

As a claims adjuster, I travel a lot and stay in a lot of hotels. This hotel was the worse experience of my life. The room smelled and had bugs and I woke up every morning scratching as if bitten by bed bugs. I transferred to another room and there was water damage on the ceiling as well as some bright red stain on the ceiling above the door. I went […] to the local Wal Mart and bought Lysol spray to disenfect the new room. This helped as I did not wake up scratching after that. no microwave nor refrigerator in rooms, makes it difficult with infant. Costs of room far exceeded value.

Our non-smoking room reaked of smoke. I had to take my asthmatic 2 yr. to urgent care after sleeping in smoke smelling room. It took us 45 minutes to get into our room due to the keys and then the lock not working properly. The hallways were incredibly hot! We sat in the hallway for 45 minutes waiting for the rude General Manager to figure out how to […] get us into our dirty room where our belongings were. My sick son screamed the entire time. I would have loved to have gone somewhere else but everywhere else in town was booked! I can see why this place was the last in town to be booked! The hotel was comfortable; the service personnel were especially helpful and friendly.

Easy access off freeway. Good breakfast, free internet, nice pool area and water slide. Was a welcome place after travelling by car all day.

The hotel was close to the Convention center where I played bridge. Breakfast was reasonble and free Internet.
