Everything went well its not the best but it's variable. Breakfast is not that good. House keeping went in our room by accident.

Hotel was par for the course, but they lost my reservation for the airport shuttle, and so it cost me an extra $40 to take a cab. Also, the location is a little strange to access. I will pick somewhere else next time.

The service was great. Actually getting to the hotel was a nightmare, I went round the block twice before I figured it out. The TV was poor. Breakfast was much as one would expect, except the coffee was terrible!

Overall we had an excellent stay at Days Inn Portland South. But our very first night, when we walked into our room, we noticed water was leaking from the ceiling in the bathroom, ca;;ed night desk attendant and he immediately gave us another room. Problem solved, and for the rest of our stay no problems at all.

This is the second time we stayed here and it was great. The only thing was we weren't able to take anything from the breakfast back to the room, to eat while we were getting ready to go.

The hotel met all my needs for a quick overnight prior to a morning meeting. As stated in previous reviews, the property is in need of some updating as compared to other chain hotels (TV and bed firmness). The room is small but OK for up to two people. It was a place to sleep. I read the reviews and it to be pretty much accurate--the pillows were small,the space between the bed and the very old TV was about the 14 inches another reviewer said. The staff was very nice, the hotel is a little outdated, when we were there they were putting new mattresses in the rooms and the TV's are really old. I think they are working on updating. Finding the motel was a little difficult even using a GPS, however, when we did find it we were pleased that it was somewhat isolated and out of the way because that made it a little quieter for us. The room was a little smaller than we are used to but since we didn't spend a lot of time in it we were not too affected by that. I would try and get a […] larger room if you need some room to spread out. The check-in process was very easy and the staff were very helpful with any questions or problems that we had. The continental breakfast was excellent. My wife especially liked the waffle machines they used to make the waffles. The waffles were large, fluffy, and crisp. You could make them as large or small as you liked and the waffle machines were easy to operate and quite safe. The motel is very centralized to shopping in the area and getting to and from Portland and the surrounding areas; with easy access to the Interstate and local highways and roads. I would suggest taking a portable GPS with you if you have one. A nice small Garmin is a good investment. We take ours with us wherever we go and it helps considerably with getting around and finding points of interest and dining. I would recommend this motel to anyone that wants a nice, clean, centralized place to stay while in the Portland area with the prices being very reasonable. Room was very small, but clean. Maids were very helpful and courteous. Found the night deskman listening with his ear to the door of two different rooms when I got up very early to catch my flight. Day desklady was helpful, courteous, but not all that friendly.

Room was clean though a little worn in places. Side door problem doesn't seem to be a priority to them, but wasn't a problem for us. My husband is a consultant and requires a good internet connection. Their's was great. The room was clean for the most part. The bed was much too firm for me, I couldn't have stayed more than one night or else it would have killed my back even more...on the other hand the hot water was plentiful & room service was fairly quick.

Overall our stay was great. This hotel is close to shopping and great restaurants. The staff was very helpful and very courteous. Breakfast was typical of most hotels. the beds were extremely hard. I ended up sleeping on the floor. The housekeeping staff was laughing and carrying on at 730 in the morning. Will not be staying here again.

Inexpensive and convenient to the hospital where I spent most of my time during and after husband's surgery. Needed my own pillow, but otherwise the room was comfortable enough for what I needed. It's an older property, but clean. The outdoor pool was already closed even though the weather was still warm in early fall.

My room had a nice view of the swimming pool -which was not open. The room was well kept. there was a desk, but no chair. the sink in the bathroom was partially plugged. there was no power to the TV, but a nice man came to fix it. The front desk receptionist was very nice and proficient. Nothing too bad, but many things need to be improved!

I needed a quick crash pad while parent in hospital. It worked. Staff great. Hotel worn but effective and rates are very fair for what you get. Solo women should not stay ground level probably.

Hotel needs updating. Staff was very nice and the location is good for a business traveler. Small room but bed was comfortable. Breakfast was not much, if you like a good breakfast you'll need to go to a restaurant. I wouldn't take my family to this motel. Rate it two stars.

It's sort of a pain to get into the parking lot. If you miss the turn you may have to get on the highway, which if you just take the first exit you can double back on a side road easily. For the price I paid, I certainly can not complain. TV sucked, but the room had a fridge and microwave so that was nice.

Very clean, comfortable room. Small, but had all the amenities we needed. The wi-fi was rather spotty. The room was pretty quiet, considering how close it is to the freeway. Directions on the hotel website said go south on 205 if you're coming north via I-5. if I didn't know the area, I would have gotten lost. Also, getting to the location requires […] multiple turns right and left onto streets that appear to be identically named.
