Hotel Kraft - ฟลอเรนซ์

Overall a great hotel. The rooftop terrace was great for pre/post dinner drinks, with wonderful views across Florence rooftops. Rooftop pool looked lovely too (although not yet open during our April stay). Around ten minutes walk from the station and from central Florence, but suited us perfectly.

What a wonderful place to stay. The staff was wonderful. The breakfast was perfect, loved Fatima and Roberto. When we go back to Florence we will stay at the Hotel Kraft.

Great hotel very friendly but a little out of the main area of florence good 15 min walk to main atractions, rooms run down and noisy lots of street noise early in the morning...

We stayed at Hotel Kraft – Florence, Italy in first half of November 2011. The hotel is about 10-15 min walk by foot from SMN main train station or 5-10 min by bus (line C2). It is rated as 4 stars hotel but I personally call them 4 Italian stars – I would grade it at 3 overall based on US star systems. The rooms are quiet at night from street traffic […] (but I do not know how well is insulated from room neighbors since I believe we had none when we were there) – main factor when I selected the hotel (depending on which street side are you and at which floor). The sheets, room and bath are clean but the overall room feeling is not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel – more a 3. Breakfast (included for us) was good and diverse and you can eat as much as you need (classic scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, butter, drinks, sweets, fruits but no vegetables). The room is heated and cooled by “European air conditioning” like system – warm or cold air blowing from a top ceiling vent (there is a thermostat wheel on the wall limited at 25C for heat and I assume somehow similar for air) – and not by warm water flowing through heating pipes in the room – and if you want quiet room at night you have to turn it off before going to bed. Internet is wireless in the room but they charge an outrageous fee (should have been free for a 4 stars hotel) and it is included in the price only if you book directly with the hotel (not clearly stated on their web site). The walls are painted in some strange unmatched green-blue colors, floor is laminated wood and closets are cheaply painted in white (over an original dark color). The paint is chipped in a lot of places, the shower (which is part of the bathtub) allows a lot of water to go in the bathroom floor, a corner part of the bath ceiling paint was rotten and ready to fall (but the rooms are old tall Italian rooms and not too many people see it). This hotel is walking distance to the train station. The staff is very helpful and kind. They provided us with all our needs. Breakfast was great and the people working at the breakfast area were very kind and always smile. It is great to feel confortable and welcome when traveling abroad. nice hotel. bit of a walk to main attractions but in a decent neighborhood. all paths well lit and an easy walk along the river. hotel very nice, clean and staff very friendly and helpful. breakfast was excellent. very clean and modern bathroom!

We enjoyed our stay here quite a bit. The hotel services were excellent from the breakfast, to the clean and up-to-date rooms, to the staff. The staff was consistently helpful, pleasant, and fluent in English. The roof top breakfast area and restaurant was lovely. The neighborhood was quiet and easy to find. It requires a half-hour walk to the major […] attractions along the Arno but the beauty of that walk makes it attractive at all times except when the sun is blazing. This hotel was great! The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Overall it was extremely clean and presentable. The room we stayed in had double beds but was still very spacious. Breakfast was also served every morning which was surprisingly good and you can eat outside on the rooftop and enjoy a nice view of the city. There was also a pool on top […] of the roof and you could lay out and relax after a long day of traveling. The only bad thing about the hotel is it's a 15/20 walk from the Ponte Vecchio (which is basically where the town starts) which was a little annoying to deal with each time you wanted to go grab dinner, etc. Overall I would def stay there again and recommend it to my family/friends. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

We arrived in Florence after a wonderful stay in Lake Garda. We arrived in torrential rain and were soaking wet when we went to check in. Things didn't start well when the receptionist insisted on seeing our passports and then started serving someone else when it was startlingly obvious that we were soaked through. The room we were given was ok but […] stank of cleaning fluid, causing my wife to start wheezing. It had been spilt on a chair, my wife has put her scarf on the chair and it still stank 2 days later. We were given a second room, smaller and minus a balcony. This room had someone else's hair on the bath and the blankets. There was peeling paint in the bathroom near the vent. We went for dinner in the restaurant, on the top floor with some lovely views across Florence, including the Duomo. According to other diners the two waiters for the nine tables were struggling to cope with the amount of people that evening due to the rain. We had to get our own menus, and even had to enquire from another guest how we ordered food. When the food arrived, the pizza was like one you might get in a downmarket supermarket (I have experience in this), the 'focaccia' bread was like no focaccia I have ever known, kind of dense and doughy. The pasta was ok. The buffet breakfast the next morning was no improvement. The orange juice, from a machine, was really weird. To start with it was red, so ok it might be blood oranges; but it was also watered down and had been sweetened. The coffee was also from a vending machine, really weak and insipid, not at all what you would expect in Italy. The pastries were stale and the fruit was rotten - we even took the best piece of fruit (a pear) to show the receptionist how rank the fruit was. So all in all, not a great experience, especially as we were on honeymoon. In general the hotel seemed half-hearted. The carpets around the hotel were pretty grubby and worn; the food was poor for a four-star, more like two-star; there was a nice-looki อ่านเพิ่มเติม

The location is good in that it's easy to get to the station (15 minutes walk) and the famous squares in Florence (20 minutes walk). When trying to find the hotel look for 2 trees on the roof - this is very distinctive. We found that it can be a little noisy at night and there are street drinkers nearby in Via Palazzuolo. It's probably important to […] point out that we normally reside in a rural area where it's deathly silent at night. We had a 'camera' room which is the basic type with ensuite. The size is small and there aren't any drawers in the room. There was quite a lot of dust on top of the head board / bar behind the bed which is a shame since I think the room is very spartan so should be a breeze to keep clean. We also had a problem with the lights in the bathroom where 2 of the 5 spotlights would turn out after 5 minutes. This was reported to reception but it wasn't fixed during our stay and we didn't feel that it was important enough to chase it up. Because the room is so small, some sort of air conditioning would have been great to make up for the lack of natural air flow but I understand that AC is switched off in Italy during certain months.This was unfortunate for the timing of our stay since it was quite warm. We were not aware of this before our stay. Perhaps a note explaining this in the welcome folder could be provided rather than spending time to find out that the temperature on the heating doesn't go below 25C and then contacting reception. Breakfast food being a buffet was okay but nothing to write home about - at least it was all there and we didn't have to wait for it. The location of breakfast was great. Since it is on the top floor you can wander out on to the roof top which is split between several levels (sort of like a ship?!) One thing we did have a problem with were smokers. I'm not a fan of eating with the smell of smoke so perhaps a designated smoking area could be provided so that smokers don't choose a table next to you. Overall th อ่านเพิ่มเติม

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone. It is also wonderful that there is a pool at this hotel even though it was not available for swimming. The view from the top deck is absolutely wonderful. The walk to the center of town is about 10 minutes.

We were very pleased with this hotel. It's not in the heart of Florence, but you can walk everywhere. We felt safe going back to hotel after it got dark. The front desk personnels were extremely nice and helpful. We were very impressed with the breakfast. For the price, it's well worth it. The only thing though is location. Excellent choice: nicely located not too far from (or too near) the train station. One block from the river with great views and within walking distance of the major sites. The neighborhood was quiet and our room had a lot of light (the street in front has a grassed mall divider). Room itself was spacious, the bathroom all marble tiled. Rooftop views […] were fabulous; the pool would have been great if it was a little warmer. Very nice breakfast to start the day. Definitely one of the best hotels we stayed at while in Italy. Great customer service, great breakfast (except the coffee) and VERY clean and comfy room. They have a great rooftop terrace. The only drawback is that it's a little bit out of the center.. but we didnt mind the walk. There are services near the hotel (restaurants, stores, markets) but is […] about a 15-20 minutes walk from the center.. but we really did not mind it. Good location 10-15 min. walk from train station, walk to most sights. Hotel itself felt rather generic...but it was clean and buffet breakfast good.

We enjoyed our stay because of good breakfast, friendly staff and the hotel`s central location.

호텔은 맘에들지만 위치가 다소 멀어서 캐리어 들고 이동시 많이 힘이듭니다.

la cosa che più mi ha colpito è la tranquillità del quartiere, senza rumori di traffico ed altri...la mia camera era molto grande forse perchè ospitava 3 persone. Personale cordiale, la colazione rispetto alla categoria dell'hotel direi sufficiente.

très belle prestation. bien situé pour visiter la ville à pied. Piscine extérieure agréable et belle vue panoramique depuis le toit de l'hotel ! Personnel accueillant et disponible.

L'hôtel est dans l'ensemble convenable, la piscine au dernier étage représente un atout indéniable, bien que la terrasse soit de taille limitée et donc vite remplie par beau temps. La vue y est très belle (duomo, environs). Le service hôtelier est bon. Il faut compter 15 minutes à pied pour rejoindre le centre de Florence. Vi var generelt meget tilfredse med opholdet på hotel Kraft i Firenze. Det bedste ved hotellet - Beliggenhed og personalets imødekommenhed. Det dårligste ved hotellet - morgenmaden og let ved at høre støj på gangen.

Familie på tur til Firenze med 4 voksne og 2 rom på hotellet. God standard og SVÆRT hjelpsom betjening uansett når på døgnet vi kontaktet dem. Koselig takterrasse/restaurant, riktignok med LITT stive priser, men god service oppveiet dette. I forbindelse med takterrasse var det også et svømmebasseng (ikke så veldig stort), som gjorde oppholdet på takterrassen […] til en avslappende affære. Passelig gå-avstand til sentrum av Firenze (15-20 min.) langs elven. Rolig strøk ellers. Godt bevoktet område, da det amerikanske konsulatet holdt til ett-par små kvartal unna, med godt vakthold for hele området. Dersom du bestiller rom, så unngå rom 323 og 325.... Disse rommene lå rett under takterrassen og det var SVÆRT lytt ned... Dessverre ble vi litt sent oppmerksom på at støyen skyldes dette. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Vietimme hotellissa kolme yötä. Hotelli sijaitsee hieman keskustan ulkopuolella n. 10-15 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä. Tulimme Firenzeen junalla ja asemalta oli vain 5 minuutin kävelymatka, joten siinä mielessä sijainti oli meille sopiva. Firenzen aseman seutu on rauhattoman oloista ja siellä liikkuu epämääräistä porukkaa. Tämä hotelli on tuon alueen […] ulkopuolla, hyvin rauhallisen kadun varrella, vain korttelin päässä joen rannasta. Hotellin henkilökunta on hyvin kielitaitoista, palvelualtista ja pätevän oloista. Varsinkin aamiaisravintolan henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä. Aamiainen oli loistava. Hotellin katolla olevalta uima-altaalta oli hienot näköalat kaupungin kattojen yli. Allasalue oli vähän alimitoitettu hotellin kokoon nähden, eli aurinkovuoteet olivat lähes aina varattuina. Lomamme aikana oli kuuma, yli 30 asteen helle, joten vilvoittava uima-allas oli todella tarpeen. Voimme suositella hotellia sellaisille vieraille, joita ei haittaa vartin kävely keskustaan. nous avons passe quelques nuits a florence et je suis absolument satisfaite de l hôtel. L'équipe, la propreté, sa situation.... sont idéales pour découvrir la ville. Même s'il a plut, nous avons pu profiter de la terrasse et se rafraichir a la piscine. je n'hésiterai pas a réserver dans cet hôtel si je dois retourner a Florence.

The hotel is very well placed in walking distance to the city centre. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are small, and it's a bit annoying that the rooms are not equipped with an iron & board, and that the hotel doesn't have one that can be borrowed either. The worst part though is the breakfast. I've never had such a poor breakfast anywhere, […] and beeing in Italy, you would have expected this to have a certain standard. Hotel Kraft har lever fint op til forvendtningerne. Billederne snød godtnok lidt, det var ikke så lækkert som forvendtet. Til gengæld er her rent og pænt og super god service.

Hotel excellent, a 10 minutes a pied du centre historique. État de l'hôtel et du service irréprochable. Très bon accueil dans la langue française. Services supplementaires presentant des tarifs assez cher VOD, Minibar et wifi (exemple 3€/ 1/2 heure, 6€ l'heure.) Service de garage de 15 a 25€/j selon les modèles. Il existe une convention entre les hôtels […] et les taxis pour des liaisons aéroport / hôtels (20 à 22€) très pratique. Tout peut se faire a pied Nous avons passez une semaine très agréable. Meget bra hotel med perfekt beliggenhet i gåavstand fra jernbanen. Store deilige rom og en fantastisk takterase med basseng og utsikt over Firenze by. Noe stive priser på mat og drikke på terassen, men ellers absolutt et hotel jeg vil anbefale.

Das Kraft Hotel ist ein gut gelegenes 4 Sternehotel. Die Zimmer sind genügend gross und sehr schön und stilvoll eingerichtet. Wenn man Glück hat, sogar mit Balkon. Die Receptionisten sind immer sehr hilfsbereit und wirklich nett, was man vom Frühstückspersonal leider nicht behaupten kann... Das Hotel bietet einen Parkhausdienst an (zwischen 15 und 25 […] Euro pro Tag) zudem wird einem immer mit dem Gepäck geholfen. Fint og ordentlig hotell ti minutters gange langs elven fra shoppingstrøket. Vennlig og god service. Basseng og takterrasse. Hyggelig betjening. Meget gode priser. Anbefales på det varmeste!

Emplacement idéal pour visiter la ville ( à 20 mètres des quais de l'Arno et à un petit 1/4 d'heure à pieds du Ponte Vecchio ) et les environs ( l'hotel est à 10 minutes à pieds de la gare des bus et des trains qui vous conduiront dans toute la Toscane et au delà )... L'hotel est trés propre, trés confortable et trés calme...La piscine au dernier étage […] est " la cerise sur le gâteau " pendant les grosses chaleurs estivales...Le personnel est adorable et toujours prêt à rendre service...Le bar et son restaurant panoramique sont trés agréables pour profiter d'un superbe panorama sur la ville tout en sirotant un "Spritz"...Bref n'hésitez pas à prendre quelques jours de vacances dans cet hôtel ( j'avais la chambre 106, claire, confortable et spacieuse ). อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Nyoppusset lite hotell med god lokalisering og muligheter for å kombinere det kulturelle med soling og bading. Har et flott takterrrasse med svømmebasseng, solstoler, bar og restaurant.

greit hotell med ca 15 minutter å gå til sentrum. Avtale med parkeringshus som hentet og leverte bil noe som er en klar fordel da Firenze ikke er den enkleste by å kjøre i.

På rummet fanns inget att anmärka. Stor och bekväm säng och fräscht badrum. Möjligen lite snålt med benutrymme då de valt att placera en bidé mitt emot toalettstolen. Frukosten var bra förutom att det serverades automatkaffe. På ett 4-stjärnigt hotell tycker jag att man ska erbjuda färskt kaffe. Lite färsk frukt hadeinte heller varit fel. Personalen […] var trevlig men inte flexibla vad gäller frukosttiderna. (Vi försökte få frukost lite tidigare sista morgonen pga tidig avresa, men icke) Poolen på takterassen var liten men med behaglig temperatur. Hela takterassen hade för övrigt behövt en ansiktslyftning. Kändes lite nergången och skräpig.
