Rooms are better than the average budget hotel. Only flaw (the 4 star instead of 5 on condition) is they need new carpet in the hallways. Neighborhood is nice.

We were very unsatisfied with the cleanliness of the hotel. The carpet needed vacuuming throughout the building. The breakfast room also was never cleaned once during the breakfast hours and the trash was overflowing and the tables and chairs were dirty. Just after I booked this hotel, I read reviews about cleanliness of air vents, and other dissatisfied customers going on about their unpleasant stay. My experience was not a bad one, though I was only there for two days...so perhaps I just got lucky. Hotel location was very ideal for me - seconds from a major road but fairly quiet, restaurants and grocery […] stores are very near, and breakfast in the hotel was definitely not as horrid as I have read in other posts. Granted, it does not cater to every whim one might wish for in a breakfast...but it is a reasonable spread. Cereal, bananas, oranges, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, coffee (not bad actually) and more. Another complaint that I read about and therefore was conscious of, is that there were no real offensive odors. Hotel was clean. Price was right. Needs better sound proofing in the rooms. Could hear people in the next room, talking, zipping suitcase, TV and slamming doors until 1:00 AM! Probably would give it another try if the need arose because it was clean and the price was reasonable and the location was convenient.

This hotel was convenient due to its proximity to where i needed to be but it wasn't great after that. When I arrived I went into the bathroom and lowered the toilet lid and there was hair from a questionable region on the body all over it. There was one functional ice machine which isn't that big of a deal but still most of the week there was only one. have stayed here many times while organzing my HS reunion, sometimes the staff is a bit ditzy. Gave me a key to a room with someone in it but it got straightened out so no worries.

Room was well worn and unkempt looking. Room service did not come every day. I needed one extra pillow to prop my son up in bed and they did not have even ONE extra pillow! What kind of hotel has zero extra pillows? No bugs or anything like that but just very old and run down.

I did not feel safe in this hotel. My phone did not work in the room, they tried fixing it. There was no remote in the room for TV, they did bring one. My room was suppose to be smoke free, but the person in the next room must have been smoking. I smelled smoke and could not sleep from the smell. I left the hotel by 7 am, did not sleep. The bath/shower was full of black mold; the vent in the bathroom had mold and was filthy. The carpet made my socks dirty from walking on it. The complimentary breakfast was a joke! How can a hotel run out of wash clothes and towels? I had repeatedly ask for extra towels. I advised them several times that there's 2 adults & 2 children; therefore 2 wash clothes & towels wouldn't be sufficient. This hotel was terrible. I'll never go back again. The sheets on the beds were flipped inside out as if they weren't washed but being turned the other way meant they were clean. I couldn't to the free wifi and when I did I kept losing my connection. The alarm clock was broken, and I couldn't make outgoing calls from the room phone. The hotel was what we expected, clean but somewhat careworn. Check in was quick and easy. The room was bigger than I expected with lots of lights, and good storage. This hotel is pet-friendly yet clean (except for the grassy areas, where no one cleans up after their dogs). It was very comfortable, the price was reasonable, and I would absolutely go back again (and I'm sure I will).

The hotel is very well maintained overall! My only major complaint was there was a delivery by an 18 wheeler at 3:30 in the morning which woke me! They clanged & banged for another thirty minutes or so!

Hotel was very clean and well maintained!!

The hotel was very well located for our needs and the price was tight. Staff was helpful and the included breakfast was more than anticipated. We would use this hotel agin.

Hotel is good for one to two night stays. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Heat/AC in room was very noisy and constantly on and off, more than it should be. For the price you get you a good deal here.

A spartan, basic motel. The place is fairly old, although reasonably well maintained. It provides a clean place to stay and an acceptable breakfast, but not much else. Worth what we paid for it, but not much more.

Everything was excellent, the staff was pleasant, and there was breakfast besides!

everything was great. the staff was friendly and helpful. my daughter's room did not have a fridge and they went and got one and put it in the room for her before she even got up there. there was a fridge and microwave in both rooms which was not mentioned in the amenities. beds very comfortable. very clean!

If you're going to NYC - stay here for, drive 19 miles to the Secaucus train station, $4 to Penn one way. If you're on a budget ya can't beat it

The room was nice at first. Then when I took a second look... carpet was not clean! Dirt every place. Bathroom had the bars of soup in the bathtub from people before and even older on top of shower!!! When to other location... better and cleaner.

I picked this hotel because of the good rate, and honestly I got what I paid for. Nothing was particularly spectacular about the place, but it wasn't horrible, either. If you need a quick place to stay for a night or two, this will certainly suffice.

The Location of the Hotel was very convenience as I was not driving.

Should not smell of smoke. There was a faint odor of stale tobacco smoke in the bedding and when the wall unit (HVAC) was turned on. Also the unit was noisy. I'm sure if it ran all the time like a wall AC unit I might get used to the din. But sycling on and off woke me. So I turned it off altogether. The Tv was old and didnt have many channels that worked......The heater didnt work.....the first set of wash clothes was our last coz they never had anymore...told by a girl who works there i can smoke and gave me an ashstray and then some guy who was rude and loud shouted for all to hear that i was smoking. The hotel gave me a damage fine for this...even […] though i was told i could smoke. I went to the front desk too many times with complaints about the room but they would say ok sorry but did nothing about it. We only needed the hotel for one night and the price was right so it was great for that. The complimentary breakfast was good. Not the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in but it was good for the price.

Halls not the cleanest; room vent in bathroom letting in horrible food smells, but staff is great; breakfast is adequate; if you need to be in North Jersey for a day or two this hotel is adequate.

The motel was clean, comfortable and convenient for our needs. Breakfast was adequate IF you got there early enough. We would have like another cup of coffee on departure asked one man who was also waiting for coffee how long he'd been waiting - about minutes. I read many of the customer reviews after I booked the hotel and became really worried. I expected a run down shell of a hotel. A lot of the corridors did smell like smoke but it was excusable since our room was far a away from the smell. The staff was friendly especially after I lost my favorite pair of earrings and the room was clean. Had a fridge, […] hair dryer, microwave and a small tv. The bathroom did have a few rust stains but no mold. The lobby and hallways did not look shabby. no worn out carpets either. No pets in the surrounding rooms and the hotel itself was very large. My wife and I stayed for 3 nights to attend a wedding. The overall experience was good. The bed was one of the most comfortable we've had in a hotel in quite some time. The cleanliness of the room was great and everything was in working order. The only downside to the whole stay was when our electronic card keys were deactivated 1 hour before checkout. […] It made it VERY inconvenient when we started packing the car and couldn't get back into the room for the rest of our luggage without having to make a trip to the front destk to get the keys reactivated. we are using this hotel for our class reunion as a place to stay that isn't too expensive. Not a lot of frills but the breakfast is good. I use this when I come up to have meetings for reunion

In this hotel, you get what you pay for...a cheap place to stay...with torn carpet, smoky smelling rooms and a front desk that is there...sometimes...along with internet that didn't work properly. A decent breakfast and the location for the money was the bargain part...

Staff were courteous, hotel requires updating. The room offered the basic conveniences. Fitness room provides insufficient offerings. Breakfast does not contain any healthy alternatives. Basically - a low-end place to crash if sleep and shower is expected.
