We got a room that the popcorn of the ceiling was falling and it smell hummit. I complain and got another room. The hotel looked run down and not well maintain. The only convenience is its location. Room was well cleaned daily, no smells, no problems at all. Did not use the facilities as we were heading to the parks and restaurants every day, location is awesome. I would stay again.

Overall, I really enjoyed it. I thought that the amenities were cool, the hotel bar tender was a good guy. There's all sorts of stuff to do on international drive, if you're interested, or you're 3 miles away from Universal Studios. Hotel had a free shuttle service to the park but you had to book in advance. I rated a 4 in most categories because the […] hotel is a little old and the wall paper, carpeting, elevators, etc could use a facelift, but overall I would stay there again. Don't look for any updated new rooms or big bathrooms, this hotel is good for the price, could use a make over but I must say the pool area is very nice. My kids enjoyed the pool very much it's clean and very roomy! Overall I give the hotel a 2.5 out of 5

The rooms were very small. The décor was old and outdated. They told me the rooms were remodeled. Must have been in 1950. The rooms smelled bad. The bathtub was nasty. The plumbing fixtures made a really loud noise while the water was running. They moved me to another room that was a little better but still outdated even thought it states renovated. […] Don't hire there interior decorator or contractors if you call that a remodel. Cons: -Carpets throughout building outside the rooms are moldy. (We have horrible allergies and couldnt help but smell it) - We paid a little more for a room here and the room wasnt that great. really out dated for the price. -Staff didnt seem prepared to do their job. Any questions i had were answered with more questions. My experience: -We paid for […] a king bed room and got a 2/full. We let them know and they promtly fixed it. The room numbers past the 10th floor are wierd. Our initial wrong room was on the 7th floor. Eg. Room 7028. When they fixed it and gave us a kingbed/room. Our room number was 7234. We did not know that this new room was located on the 12th floor. Who would? So we made our trip back to the main lobby.( which is a heck of a walk. This is a multi-complex building) then made our 3rd trip back up to a room. Other small mishaps were made by the hotel, and we were late for the event we were going to which had a limited time frame and only on that one night. I was extremely disappointed with this hotel. The pictures I saw on the site were not reflective of the overall property. My room was disgusting. When I approached the mgr about it, they said the pictures were of the D tower because it was the only one redone. The water valves in the bathtub needs to be updated to a mixing valve...but for the price of the room, the location, the pool area layout and the local convenience I was very happy. I would stay again.

expect to pay extra for free internet and some services which you dont see or use the staff are not friendly at all... the room are ok

The hotel is a little old, but good people and great location. We felt safe in the neighborhood and walked from there to Universal Studios. Wet and Wild is across the street, too.

I am very picky about hotels, so you can take my review seriously. We stayed in a standard double room. Very cleanly facilities. Bathroom kind of small but clean(and the size was not awful). Really enjoyed our stay. Walked to everything really nice area for family visit with lots to do. Our room was clean and comfortable .Coffee ,mid size fridge iron and mid size fridge in room. We would definately stay there again! Great quaility and great price.

The beds were confortable and the room had a great view. The pool is a nice size and people were friendly. Needs to remodel the bathroom, it looks old and needs a facelift.

The staff of the hotel are great and do a fantastic job of running a well maintained area for conventions and events. It is an older hotel so there are of course some signs of age, but the ongoing efforts will maintain a nice hotel which is great to visit. The hotel is RIGHT OFF i-drive. Literally. It was very unusual to see all the parties and people dressed up. Good location. It should have told us that we had a internet fee instead of saying compllimentry. That was misleading. We had booked a non smoking room but there was an overpowering smokey odour as soon as you entered the room which seemed to have permeated everywhere. The sheets were used and had stains. Hotel was very nice, I was traveling with my 13 yr old daughter and her friend, we felt safe with the interior room, the pool was very nice. We would stay here again, no problems at all with our stay very close to Universal.

Minus the $7/night "resort fee," this place is very nice. Great location, comfortable room, and good amenities. The pool/hot tub area is wonderful, the bar & restaurant are nice additions. It's well worth a stay - these horror stories are just absurd in my opinion.

The bottom line is this place is like 4 hotels combined. Some building contain absolutely horrific, aged, motel 6 at best rooms around the pool. The further high rise was a decent, standard hotel that they moved us into after the check-in meltdown. I see exactly why reviews vary. It's night and day on these rooms. We loved the pool area with the cabana bar and spa tub. Since we live in Florida, we appreciate a hot tub as the pool is often too cool for our thin blood. The area was very nicely done with many private table areas. The rooms were typical older rooms, but contained all that was needed. We will most likely stay here again.
