Holiday Inn Islip Airport - รอนคอนโกมา

We always stay here or the Hilton Garden when we visit family on Long Island. They are quite similar, but my brother-in-law insists the beds are so much more comfortable at the Holiday Inn... you can decide! :) It's a good, clean, basic hotel room. Our room was very dirty. Long hairs stuck to the bathroom door, filthy grout, musty smell, and just a look of an old, cheap motel. The only word that comes to mind is, gross. The elevators, hallways, entrances were all filthy as well. Many items in need of repair throughout the property. We were very surprised this was a Holiday Inn. Ok to stay for the money

They put the O in OK

The hotel staff was wonderful and the rooms cleaner than when we stayed there 5 years ago but it is an old facility and in desperate need of renovation. The staff does the best with what they have and it is the only hotel around with an outdoor pool.

Worst hotel visit i've had in a long time. I asked for a non smoking room, i got a non smoking room in the middle of a smoking wing. Was a slap in the face. The room was dirty. I got out of the shower and the steam revealed what the previous guest had written on the mirror. The (Tube) television did not work correctly, had wavy lines in the picture […] on all channels. Because the room was booked through Hotels.com it was not possible to alter the reservation, by adding an additional 2 days. My stay was very pleasant and the room was as ordered. The lounge area was a bit small for the amount of rooms at the Holiday Inn, howerver it was lively and fun.

We were satisfied, with the exception of a trainee. She did not know anything about handicapped parking, where it was, the proximity of it to the room. There was parking right outside our door, including handicapped, but we had to lug everything across the lobby and down 3 halls. Also the one bed was not comfortable, too soft. Pillows too. We check in the lady at the front desk was nice. The room was ok, the bathroom I had to wipe down. We have double bed thank God, because the bed by the window sink in, like having a big hole in the middle of the bed. It was late when got in, I did not call the front desk my mistake. No fridge or microwave in my room. Wireless connection kept dropping, and I got no help from the front desk. I was told to call tech support which I did and they also could not help with boosting the wireless connection. Other then that the place was clean and friendly.

Loved my stay at HI all employees very friendly. One observation, there were no safes in the room. The front desk person suggested I leave my valuables in a community safe operated by the hotel. Not so convenient. Could not lock valuables in car because all parking garages in Manhattan take your key. Just a little inconvenient but we managed

Clean rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast!

Overall, the hotel is not bad if you can get it for a reasonable price. I feel I overpaid. There is no complimentary breakfast; the room was clean but for whatever reason very damp - to the point where paper stemmed q-tips were almost like noodles the next morning; AC unit was not functioning properly, and (it's a BIGGIE) - total lack of security. There […] was a set of double door in the back that stayed unlocked 24/7, didn't even have a card reader set up and had no surveilance of any kind. The bed was very comfortable and the front desk staff was friendly....BUT Both mornings after we spent the night, we ate at the hotel and the service was nonexistent- awful! It took forever to get simple things like a parfait, cup of OJ etc...We sat for a long time without being waited on. Don't eat there. The sheets were clean with a nice thread count, the pillows were fluffy (your choice of soft/hard), the maid called to be sure we didn't want our room cleaned one day, and promptly brought up towels, soap, etc. Very pleasant experience.

Looked like the Hotel was going through some renovations. Could not find an ice maker anywhere that worked. Room was ok at best. The staff was very friendly.

We were very pleased with the hotel. The environment was quiet even though they had a party going on and the noise was not heard in the hotel room. The lighting could have been brighter in the bathroom. There were signs asking for quiet past 9 PM located by the entrance to the hallways to the rooms, and the party attendees respected the request.

Hotel failed to control a large party of guests the first night -- loud conversations and children running up and down the hall until midnight. Better control the second night. Room was very nice -- big comfortable bed, clean, and roomy. Advertised computer printing service was not installed, but they allowed me to hook up to one of their printers […] in their business center. $7.50 is a lot to pay for a bowl of cereal and a small (4 oz) orange juice, with no other breakfast facilities anywhere nearby. Very friendly staff and enjoyed the convenience of the restaurant/bar. However, bathroom tub was backed up making it difficult to shower!! Besides that no other complaints....

The only issue we had was that the AC in our room wasn't the greatest. Other than that it was fine.
