The hotel is fine and in good shape, friendly staff, the area is ok but can seem a little wired at first. Guess it's because it is sacremento.

Disappointed with the cleanliness of the hotel. There were cigarette stubs near the spa.

Convenient and affordable if traveling in the Sacramento area. I wouldn't stay here on a romantic getaway, but the room was clean and comfortable and definitely worth the price for a quiet night's sleep.

Great hotel, good location. Just a little away from the downown area. Safe, Clean neighborhood. Hotel was very nice, great decor comfy bed. Breakfast buffet was great and worth buying online for $10 for $20 per room, cause its $11.99 when you get there. We will stay again and again!

We stayed here just overnight, a place to crash after a concert before heading home the next day. Bed was COMFY!!!! and the shower hot. The room itself was plenty large and quiet. The ONLY bummer about the hotel -- and it's totally out of their control, so I don't even know that this should count as a negative -- was that there was major roadwork between […] where the concert was and the hotel, and the detour to get there took foreverrrrrr. Other guest were too noisy coming from the bar at 1200 and 0245 am. No ironing board or Iron. Coffee pot had to be hidden in room.

Great hotel and put me within 1.5 miles of where I had to conduct workshops.

I expected a little better from a Crown Plaza. I expecially hated the fact that my room overlooked highway 80 and all the noise caused by that proximity.

Pleasant surprise! "Remodeled" Holiday Inn that was comparable to some of the Hyatts in quality of bedding, towels, etc. Hotel staff was EXCELLENT, resturant food beyond expectations in quality and presentation. hotel is right off of the freeway, easy to find, lots of fast food restaurants (Panda Inn, In and Out, etc) and Starbucks nearby to bring back to your room. Coffee maker in room is nice, staff friendly. CHP training center in the area so make sure that you don't speed on the local freeways. The people there are so nice. My girlfriends car window broke and it wouldnt role up. So the night watchman Jerry I think his name was let us Park our car right up front in the loading area so it would be safe.

This hotel is very nice! Most people complain that there is only one elevator. Sure, but did any of them think of taking the stairs. The one elevator is not a big deal. The bedrooms were very nice and the bed itself was extremely comfortable. I highly recommend The Crowne Plaza.

Fantastic newly renovated room. Very modern and comfortable. I can't say enough about the room and the bed. The food at the restaurant wasn't the greatest, but my stay is really what mattered and I will be coming back.

nothing bad on the hotel but some of the guest were very loud and rude all night and in the morning, The bathroom could have been clean better,

I'm not sure if it was a weekly crowd that parties in the lounge area or a special occassion, but the people at and surrounding this hotel were the most loud, rude, and obnoxious people I've seen at a hotel. Very loud until the wee hours of the morning. At 2:00 am, a couple of them literally banged on people's windows as they walked along the sidewalk. […] I think these are people who live in Sacramento that don't stay at the hotel. I think they come to party in the lounge as most of these noisy people were headed for the parking lot, but it was one of the worse nights of my life in a hotel. Rooms were decent & the space comfortable. The only complaint we had is there were NO refrigeraters available, NO DVD player as well as a stopper for the bathtubs which was definitely needed for our stay with children. Overall we'd stay again if we had to but will probably look for a hotel with the missing accommodations!

Party in ballroom was fine but it spread throughout hotel including plastered dudes in spa area still drinking. Frequent loud obnoxious folks in hallways scared my kids and our friends kids. Too bad.... Would have been gd place otherwise.

Booked a room and paid for it. Checked in at 4ish only to be assigned a room that was dirty, apparently the maid never mad it to the 6th floor. Was a little disappointed. Good value. Convenient location. Very nice rooms.

We were very pleasantly surprised with this hotel. While we knew from the reviews that it was mixed, what we found was better than anyone had noted. It was clean, quite, newly renovated, hot tub and pool. It was off of the main road which helped the quiet factor. It was a fantastic stay close to lots of food, convenience, and things to do!

The Hotel Lobby is decorated so nice. I love the new look and style. The Restuarant is so cool staff great. We will stay their again.

I stay in this hotel for 7 weeks, over 32 years ago. This hotel had 2 minor problmes. One of the lifts was not working and the car noise from the freeway. Apart from that the rooms were of excelent standard and so was the service. I would stay here again if I was in the area again

The hotel was quiet and convienent with not alot of amenties. A Continential breakfast would have been nice. All in all the stay was very pleasant.

The hotel is recently renovated and it is very impressive with plenty of parking space. I would have booked at the Double Tree in downtown Sacramento where the event I attended took place but my last minute booking made it very expensive. The hotel has been newly renovated. The rooms are nice, as is the restaurant. Breakfast and service are great. HOWEVER, there is only one elevator working in the five story wing, and it is very slow. There are at least 3 elevators on the property. They said they were waiting for state inspectors. Had trouble accessing the fitness room. Could not find […] an entrance to it. Pool area was locked, so couldn't access from the poolside door. Little noisy before 9 PM from the car dealership next door, which uses an outside speaker to page people. Overall the room was nice, however at some point during my stay, someone vomited in the hallway and it was not cleaned up for several hours. This hotel was a pleasant surprise. It has been remodeled, and the rooms, especially the bathrooms, were quite modern and comfortable. It is extremely convenient to I-80 - probably not more than 2 minutes to get on/off that freeway. Sadly, the pool was outside and not heated, and the spa was busted.

My first impression was that the hotel is not in a very good area. The first room I received wasn't cleaned properly. There was urine all over the toilet seat. The Remote control was extremely sticky....The desk was also sticky. The hotel is newly renovated, nice lobby and stylish rooms. However, one of the elevator banks was out of order. It appears to have been out of order for awhile. This caused us to walk the length of the hall on the first floor, use the one working elevator, then walk back the length of the hall to our room. I was impressed with this hotel. It was clean, freshly remodeled and comfortable. I only have two complaints. First there were already bleach-type stains on the carpet in some areas. It's a newly remodeled hotel, so the decor was nice. However, I booked 2 rooms online and paid extra money to have breakfast included. But when I got there, I was notified that a full breakfast wasn't included after all. They give you vouchers for 20 dollars per room, even though I had booked 2 rooms for 4 people in each room. You cannot beat the price for what you get. very affordable and nice for the price. Rooms have all been remodeled and are quite spacious with flat screen tv's. Bathrooms are modern and large as well. The beds are decent but could use high quality pillows and linens. The downside was the elevator was not working which meant hiking up 4 flights of stairs […] every day when I left and returned. For 6 days straight! I could use the workout though ;) Also, forget about trying to request room service. I tried 4/6 nights I was there and was only successful in actually being able to speak to someone and place an order once. The phone would ring, and then go back to the operator, who would just send me back to the room service extension in an unending loop. After about 20 minutes of trying I gave up. The one and only time I was able to speak to someone and place an order the food arrived cold and I wished I had just gone out for dinner as the quality was sub par for the price. Great location and very nice hotel. They are still doing some remodeling and one elevator was out but when finished it will be quite lovely. My room was very nice. The bed provided the best night's sleep I've had in I can't remember when. The people at the front desk were very friendly, professional and helpful. I could not have been happier.
