The Hotel was a little run down,with some maintenance issues (lights out etc). The staff however were very pleasant and addressed all deficiencies promptly when brought to their attention.The location was important to us on this occasion,and we would stay here again under similar circumstances.

This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. When we got to our room I looked aroud in the bathroom there was rust stains on the ceiling, there was mold in the sink in the bathroom. and the stwich that controls the heat was just switch to turn on or off and when it was on it was so loud that there no way we would ever be able to sleep, so […] we said something to the staff and tried a different room, that room was not much better expect the heat was not so loud, but the was stains on furniture. I will never stay in this hotel ever again nor would recommend it to anyone. Also no snack machines what hotels dont have snack machines . thank you อ่านเพิ่มเติม

close to horse track and casino, not a bad price, try getting a room in Lexington during Keeneland Racing and you pay double this. Plus indoor pool and hot tub Hot and cold breakfast with waffle maker minus some repair in progress

Although the outside appearance left me to wonder, what did we get ourselves into. The inside of the hotel was clean, staff was pleasant, rooms were clean, all in all it was a nice hotel. Lots of close restaurants and also a casino.

We stayed here Oct. 6-8, 2011. The lobby area appeared clean and tidy when we checked in, which went smooth. Our room was on the North side of the building and had alot of small maintenance and cleanliness issues. The chair in the room was filthy and there was a wet spot on the carpet. The room appeared clean, but when looking closer needed a good, […] deep cleaning. The pillows(lumpy and little) and towels (thin and some stained) left little to be desired. The bed was just ok. The breakfast was so, so. We chose to eat somewhere else on the 2nd morning. We didn't use any other facilities. Tub had no stopper/looked dirty, room seemed dirty, phones didn't work and one had no cord on handset.

the room smelled "damp" sorta "musty" like it had been closed up for awhile. The pool water was very warm and the hot tub too(both about same temperature) but the water quite hazy and cloudy. We didn't use the pool/spa because we were there for a college parent weekend at Ball State. The price was right, but the facility needs a definite clean up as […] well as the ventilation system. My wife and I generally try to find a good price when we stay at motels. Friday night we had a motel with a great price - and a fantastic value. This very reasonably priced motel has an indoor swimming pool and an outdoor swimming pool - as well as a hot tub. It also has a well-appointed exercise room, a restaurant, and a separate lounge. It has an […] atrium and separate enclosed gardens. These are all amenities you would normally only find in much more expensive motels. The rooms are large and clean, and service is excellent. Most importantly, this motel has a gentleman - the owner, I believe - who works long hours at the desk greeting and assisting customers. Look nice by pics on internet, but it was dirty. Cob webs from window to lights,stains all over furniture. Soap bar fall apart when opened. Cold in room as there is just a switch to turn fan off or on.

I have stayed at four hotels in the Anderson area. I would stay at the Motel 6 in Anderson again before this property. This is by far the worst for cleanliness and while the pics LOOK great, its not fresh, clean or as nice as the pics lead one to believe. Carpet near bathroom was soaking wet. Chair in room FILTHY and stained. Shower ceiling had mold […] on it. Other than one USED hand towel, there were NO towels in room. No baseboards. Carpets in general were disgusting and left my white socks dirty and stained. Wallpaper boarders peeling and very dirty. NO covers on some electric outlets. Air is either on or off with no temp control and very noisy. Tolite kept running all night Over all the room was very disgusting. Our neighbors were loud, we were awaked at 2:30 by screaming and profanity next door. The second night we were awakened at 5:00am by fire alarms, there was a fire in a room down the hall from ours, I will not stay there again. The place is in dire need of restorations.

All the doors to the outside had no locks and the manual dead bolt lock to our room was also broke so there is NO security. A storm rolled in and they didn't turn on the heat they gave everyone a portal heater. Im just glad nobody put theirs too close to their bed and burnt the place down ....may have done Anderson a favor.

The hotel is very old but in a good location and clean. When we walked in sombody set off the fire alarm, but was quickly taken care of. Morning breakfest was ok too. For the price we will use it again.

The first time I stayed in this hotel they had a youth group staying there. Almost every room was taken by jr and sr high kids. We were not told that and the kids were up almost all night running around and banging on all the doors. There was no one at the front desk. The youth leaders appologized, they were very understanding. Nothing from the hotel […] staff. We desided to give it another try due to the great location. This time our toilet did not flush. We had to go down and request a plunger. They did not offer to come and fix it just for us to leave the plunger for the cleaning people the next day. They next day the toilet still did not flush and then the tub would not drain. We could not even get a plunger the second night I had to wander through the hotel looking through unlocked closets until I found one on a housekeeping cart. WiFi service is very poor. Room service is low and cleaning needs to improve.

The hallway to our room had water dammage thus leaving a fowl odor. Our sink had clogged up and even after telling them we had a three month old it took them two days to fix the problem. All the fire alarms had been previously pulled on the east side of the hotel and had not been reset, the fire extinguisher was missing from the box and the emergency […] exit signs were un lit. I am very surprised that hotels.com continues to book for this hotel. It is an old Holiday Inn and has not been adequately updated. It is in a state of 'barely liveable' in my opinion. The drain in the tub was so clogged with hair that it would not drain at all. There was no thermostat in my room. A toggle switch started and stopped the fan. It was […] either freeze or sweat. There is inadequate electrical outlets in the rooms. The indoor swimming pool's pump was broken the entire week we were there. There is no internet access in any rooms beyond shouting distance from the hotel lobby. The faucet for the tub and shower was set in such a way that you could not get hot water. The staff was cordial, but not overly helpful. The bed was comfortable. The linens were ancient. There were holes in the sheets every day. Two days they made our king bed with queen sheets. I got acquainted with the housekeeping staff and was able to get clean towels and replacement coffee packets. If I had not reserved the room with a non-refundable reservation, I would have cancelled the room and changed hotels. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!! อ่านเพิ่มเติม

For the money this is a very good hotel, with inside and outside swimming pools and a hot tub, i would definitely recommend........

Was the worst experience ever!!!! What a dump! 90 plus degrees & no a/c...controlled by the hotel no individual a/c units..barely a trickle of warm air. Staff not interested in making it right or offering any discount for our troubles. Waited after check in time rm not ready, waited for cleaning staff to finish, then mgr used pass key w no knock & walked […] in on us, The pool area LOOKS nice, but filthy & slimy.At brkfst had to eat around the staff filling themselves up 1st.. we were suppose to get a non-smking room and the room was penetrated with smoke. i called front desk and was told there was no other room available. i had to go buy fabreze and lysol to spray the room completly we were locked out of our room because front desk did not have us checked in the next day after we had traveled 45min, back from a wedding . […] they told us they had to have maintance person work in room when we had not even asked for anything.this was a horrible stay! อ่านเพิ่มเติม

The only thing I liked about this hotel was the layout & the fact that they had an indoor/outdoor pool. They desparately need some remodeling.

Initial room had mold in air vents and down walls and was poorly maintained overall. Was relocated to a cleaner but less than par room upon request. This non-smoking room reaked of smoke for which we were handed a bottle of spray order eliminater. We do not intend to stay there again. Far better hotels in the general area.

Hotel is more of a Motel. The wireless access would not reach the room. I had to go to the lobby to connect and then it was a snails pace. The carpet and furniture in the room was very stained and the room smelled terrible. No towels in the room on day 2 and I had to go down and wait for 30 minutes for them to get some for me. Breakfast was also not […] very good. No fruits or yogurt just biscuits and gravy. Not my healthy choice. I wouldn't recommend the hotel even at this discount price. Very pleasany--we have already recommended to relatives.

I stayed at this hotel on Friday and Saturday night. The rooms were okay other than the fact that the hotel has an indoor pool right by the rooms. Kids were screaming half the night, and it echoed very loudly. We weren't there for vacation, so we had to get up early and it was difficult getting any sleep. I doubt that I would stay there again

The reason I stayed at this hotel is my girlfriend & I wanted to stay somewhere inbetween the citities with live & we had to have an outdoor pool. It was our overnight get away & we wanted lay by the pool. It's hard to find hotels with outdoor pools, this was a bit run down, but enjoyed ourselves. even though it says all rooms are non smoking some of them are. only good thing was there were able to change us to a non smoking room. then our toilet would not work. so we switched rooms again. then shower drain would not drain water. i pulled enough hair out of the drain to make a small dog.

When I arrived at the hotel I was given a non-smoking room, as requested. However, the room had ash trays and smelled of cigarettes. Despite being completely booked, they moved me to another room. But the following night when another member of my party arrived, their non-smoking room smelled of smoke as well. Our room was filthy, the floors had not been vacuumed, left over food in the refrigerator, mold on the walls and above the bathroom mirror. The ceiling was rusted above the shower, and I was quite nervous about sleeping in the beds. We couldn't figure out how to work the air- it was simply a switch with High, Low, and off. We think it was just heat […] and not air conditioning which made for a stuffy room with no ventilation. The pool was nice, but it was crowded with too many wild children jumping and splashing. They also ran out of towels and when we asked the front desk if they had more, they told us to use our room towels. Our neighbors were extremely loud and rude until 3AM. They also served continental breakfast, but we missed it- the sign said breakfast ended at 9:30 and when we got there at 9:15 they were already tearing down breakfast. Front desk was rude when we called for new sheets due to them being dirty. Shower head would shoot water all over the ceiling. Carpet trim was falling off the wall. slide over lock for frt door was broken. Shower drain was plugged and filled with hair. No ac due to chiller not in operation, system had hi fan and low fan but no temperature setting. had […] no windows to open if room gets too hot causing a problem when ac only works in summer. price was okay if you can live with these conditions. I had two rooms - the coffeemaker didn't work in the one room. The other room felt like a sauna. There was a switch, but it just blew hot air. When talking to the hotel personel, I was told that the room could be cooled by opening the door for 5 - 10 minutes. That helped but when the door was closed, it turned into a sauna again.

When I arrived I should have known something was up because the desk clerk was being cussed out by another customer. Our room was COLD. Not cool but freezing cold. I called the front desk and told them 3 times. They didn't fix the heat but brought two space heaters. They blew the breaker and then we had no heat and no electricity. After a while they […] got the electric back on but room was around 50 degrees. We went down to hot tub to find out that there was no water in it. While taking a shower the tub wouldn't drain properly. I went to get a softdrink and the machines are completely empty and turned off. There was not a working ice machine either. The hotel smelled like the chlorine in the pool. It was cold (in December) and there was some mold in the bathroom. There was a mysterious stain all over the footstool; the room smelled sort of dank. When our neighbors smoked, the smell was pretty strong in the room. Also, when the neighbor's kids woke up at 6 AM and started talking and watching TV, […] we could hear the TV and the kids talking.
