"Off the beaten path"
We were there for one night. The hotel is located quite a ways from the historic district, but its a small island, so no big deal. Its remoteness made for a quiet night. The room was a bit warm because we were on the top floor facing the afternoon sun.

This hotel was very well kept, clean and up-to-date on amenities. One of the best! Enjoyed our stay.

"The Hampton Inn at Jekyll Island , Ga."
We had a very pleasant stay at Hampton Inn in J.I., Ga. I can not say enough good things about the personnel at the Inn. That kind of service makes you want to choose Hampton more often. It was all clean, and the heated pool was a plus for winter swimming.

A 1 night stay turned into 3! The accomodations & amenities are lovely, but what makes this Hampton Inn so great is their fabulous staff. Very attentive, courteous, efficient & friendly--we stayed longer because they made us feel so welcome. We'll be back soon!
"Great Get-a-way spot enroll to the Rolex 24"
We had avrelaxing and enjoyable night at the Hampton on Jekyll... We walked the beach early the next morning and had the usual delicious breakfast, before heading to Daytona for the 50th Rolex 24 hrs of Daytona. Great trip, great stay!

"Jekyll Island at the Hampton Inn"
Very nice Island and a very nice hotel. Definitely would recommend it. Watch out for the dear at night if you drive on the island. Also make sure you get to the beach and enjoy the scenary. Definitely worth it. I'm glad we made it to the island and the Jewel of Georgia at Jekyll Island.

"Excellent Experience"
All the workers at the hotel were extremely friendly and appreciated our staying at their facility. When we return to Jekyll Island we will certainly make our reservations there.

Upon arrival at this hotel that we never stayed at before, we were promptly NOT greeted by Celeste - front desk Supervisor. She was more concerned with the tasks related to our check in. She handed me a slip of paper after asking my name, and told me to sign as confirmation of our check in. I advised her this was our 10th Wedding Anniversary (a big […] deal to us) - and asked if the room had a good view - to which she looked irritated and surprised at the audacity of my question. She advised that it didn't overlook the parking lot. Seriously! The room was really nice, but the walls were VERY thin. And since I had already advised them it was our 10th and our only reason for the stay - I was surprised upon taking an early nap with my husband to be awakened by the sound of pounding/jumping etc. After about 35 minutes of the noise a call to the front desk revealed that they had just checked a family in above us - with a 1 year old. We have a child - we left her at home so we could enjoy time alone. The front desk (woman) was noticeably irritated at my request to have the family cut the noise - but agreed to inform them of my complaint. A couple of minutes later the family did cut the noise for the most part. I would have thought that hotels paid attention to that sort of thing - who's positioned over who - since their profits are tied to the comfort of one's stay but I learned that they don't pay attention to any such thing. Overall it was a very nice hotel, but the staff really took my impression of the stay down to an average to less than average experience - which is a shame when we were loooking for a nice relaxing time and a friendly environment. อ่านเพิ่มเติม
"Nice Hotel"
The staff, rooms, location and room in general were great. The hotel is fairly new, so it's a bit nicer than your typical 3 star place--extremely clean. They allow pets, which was my main reason for staying there. They charge a $10 a night pet fee and housekeeping will only tidy your room if your pet is out of the room or crated, which I think is totally […] fair. There's no room service, but you can call to the bar and order your food before you walk down to pick it up, and both of the bartenders/cooks I interacted with were wonderful. Front desk staff are nice and helpful and so are the cleaning staff. There's a 24 hour exercise room, business center, and laundry room. All of these rooms are a tad bit small--only accommodating 2-4 guests simultaneously. My family visited during off season, so the accommodations suited us fine, but I imagine during the height of tourism season there are waiting lines for all of the rooms. There's a wooden deck-like path from the hotel to the beach, and there's a nice, big, shaded picnic area/park next door. The complimentary breakfast is fresh and offers lots of variety each day. "Hampton Inn and Suites, Jekyll Island"
This was our first time staying at this hotel. The bikes were great, the rooms were clean and roomy. Used the weight room, the treadmill was brand new. The location is perfect...loved the easy beach access. We saw two deer right off the boardwalk. We'll be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hampton. I can't think of one negative thing to say. The rooms were clean, the buffet breakfast was good and the employees were friendly. Our two little dogs were as welcome as we were. We even enjoyed the walk down the boardwalk to the beach. It was a very lovely place.

We went to Jekyll Island because we saw that we could bring our dog on the beach, and this hotel accepted dogs also, we were very happy with our stay. The hotel is nice, new and clean, and so close to the beach! Also has a nice pool area. Had a great time, hotel lobby was crowded and noisy, but rooms were quiet and in good condition. Love the walk to the beach, the pool is nice too.

Hotel very nice. Lovely surroundings. Not sure about paper plates for breakfast for a eco friendly hotel.

The hotel is beautiful, but a little expensive. The rooms are large and clean. The only issues we had were at check in. They must have problems getting the rooms ready on time for check in. Although the website stated 3 p.m check in, it was after 4 before a room was available. The overall experience was great.
"Animal friendly hotel can be noisy"
When we checked into our room, there was a dog in the next room that barked incessantly. We asked to have our room changed and they were able to do so. Maybe there should be one section that allows dogs so they can all yelp to each other.

The best hotel in the area. EXTREMELY nice staff. The rooms are big, beds are comfy, and the breakfast is always good. We stay at this Hampton every time we visit Jekyll.

Like most Hamptons, this one is very clean and neatly furnished, bed was comfortable (lots of pillows) and everything was provided, including a large workdesk and extra chairs.. The pool is very large with plenty of chairs and plants, very pleasant though the air and water temps were cool then. The free breakfast buffet had lots of choices, and had […] 3 or 4 helpful staff people (a conference group made the dining area quite full) The winding walk through the maritime forest from the earlier hotel on the site (Holiday Inn, I think it was) has been totally changed, with a sturdy elevated wooden walk that puts you above the tropical foliage for good viewing -- really nice once you adjust to the change from previous visits. Great value for a terrific location! New hotel within walking distance to the beach via a beautiful, secluded boardwalk. Short drive from historic district, surrounding islands and Brunswick.

"Loved this hotel"
We had a great stay at this hotel. It is a great location, right on the beach. We rented bikes at the hotel and rode around the island all day. We can't wait to go back again.

We wre travaling along the East Coastand heard about this hotel and decided to check it out. This is an excellent hotelwith a great staff. Price was very reasonable. Pool and proximity to the beach were a real plus! Highly recommend!

Really a splendid hotel, in a remarkable location. We stumbled onto Jeckyll Island casually but will make it a point to return.

The hotel was very clean and well staffed. My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The only complaint I could say is the location. While the hotel is probably well placed, our timing must have been off. "Hampton Inn - Jekyll"
We've stayed in other hotels at Jekyll but have now found the one we are in love with. It has everything one could want to enjoy a nice break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It's a little pricier, but I'm happy to pay more to get more.

"Customer Service needs help!"
I thought the room was very clean, spacious, and accomodating. However, I booked a King Size bed and got two double beds. When I spoke to the woman at checkout, she said there was nothing she could do - that it was hotels.com mistake. Also, I requested to be next door to my sister's room. The hotel itself is a nice hotel. The room was comfortable, but a little small. The hotel has a bar that serves food but only up until a certain time, and you cant get a full meal it is just snacks and salads.
