My overall stay was very nice. This hotel offers friendly staff, VERY clean rooms and is in a very nice area. The price is pretty resonable. There are cheaper and I looked at them and nothing compared to this hotel. I went ahead and decided to pay the extra money to be comfortable and safe. This hotel is less than 20 miles away from all of the destinations […] that we visited: Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Venice Beach. The only set back was the 101 freeway (Ventura FWY). This freeway had lots of traffic day and night including weekends. Then again, that is most freeways in California. We were right next door to AJ Fine Foods. Very satisfied with room, service, employees. We prepaid for breakfast but husband signed bill and included tip and we don't know if server received it.

Very clean facility. Good, safe neighborhood with nice restaurants nearby. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking and easy access to Warner Center and Ventura Freeway (Hwy. 101). This is my second time to book this facility.

Disappointed by the amnities in the room, non-cooperative front desk staff. Was expecting much more for the price I paid, otherwise what's difference between Holiday Inn and other motel chains ?

I have family in Woodland Hills I visit a couple of times a year. While the Hilton and Marriott are both nice, they are always expensive. This Holiday Inn has been remodeled and my only complaint is the small and slow elevators. First, the room smelled really weird, then the sink and bathroom counter were in a very small bathroom. The toilet, sink, shower were all in the worlds smallest bathroom and there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom to let the steam out of after the shower. the floors even get wet while you shower. I was in room 307 monday 01 november. The bathroom sink does not drain if the water runs for the span of a toothbrushing.

This appears to be a recently renovated Holiday Inn. It's a comfortable, small-sized room that's clean. We felt safe at this hotel, which is located right off the 101 and quite near to Trader Joes and several restaurants. My only major complaints: it's an older hotel, so you can hear other doors slamming shut, and the wifi is terribly slow. The room was clean and good for the price. It was convenient to my relatives in Woodland hills but probably not the best location for tourists. HOWEVER, I had a major issue with how the management dealt with our noise complaint. As soon as we checked into our room we realized there was a large number of young people throwing a party next door. I knew […] we were in trouble when I could hear through the wall loud music, drinking and someone saying "just puke in the trashcan, dude!". I immediately asked for another room and was given a different room that had the two AC units removed and a gaping hole in the wall. So I returned to the front desk again and was told my old room was the only one available. So I asked the manger to speak to the neighbors and he assured me they would be kicked out if they continued to make noise. Well, they continued to make noise, and my poor mother was forced to call security 2 more times, including at 3:00 in the morning! The party people were never kicked out. This was especially difficult as we were there for a funeral and desperately needed to catch up on sleep. front desk was very friendly, they accommodated my request of non-smoking rooms (we had two babys; two rooms) and even went a step further by giving us connecting rooms. Hotel had clean rooms, comfortable beds and a pretty good breakfast downstairs. oh yea and plenty of free parking. The hotel was simple, but clean and friendly. The situation is good to go to Hollywood, Universal Pictures, Beach. The price / quality ratio is correct. For traveler passing is a good deal. The Highway is very close to the hotel, so it's a little bit to close to the swimming pool (noisy). I would stay again.

I stayed there 5 days on business. The front desk staff was very friendly and accomodating. The room was very clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable. The restaraunt in the hotel does leave a bit to be desired however. The food is most frozen and far too pricy for the quality. If I am going to spend $20 on a steak, I certainly dont want instant […] mashed potatoes and that is what I got. But the waitstaff was very nice and accomodating. right next to a freeway and not the most favorable location (neighborhood) anyway. Advertised as "warner center", but that is a stretch.

The room that we got was the executive, and we were hoping to have a tub in our room but we didn't get it :/ maybe in Leisure rooms?? We booked this via hotels.com, over the phone. The agent said it was close to LA & Hollywood, but it was some 30 miles, and a long driving time due to the heavy traffic. Staff are not friendly...when we came to check in, the guys weren't very helpful...I asked for something and just pointed where I was supposed to go...Never again...Even my kids said the same thing...

Nice enough. Great pool. Just in this day and age of free breakfasts I was disappointed in the high cost of breakfast in their restaurant. Also, don't drink the bottled water that some hotels offer for free because after drinking one I realized that I was going to be charged for it... a lot.

First, Hotels.com told me that these rooms had a microwave and continental breakfast, they do not. The hotels service was not very good. Has to ask three times for someone to bring a rollaway bead. Was told by the front desk that we would have a microwave delivered to our room (never happened). We had an unprovoked call from the front desk at 11:30 […] pm saying they were trying to deliver extra blankets (we never requested them) that woke entire family up--not fun. The front desk workers were, in general, not very friendly. Room was fine, location was good, pool was good, but I switched Hotels after the two days I booked were up. I need a quiet, nice hotel close to my work when I visit Woodland Hills. The Holiday Inn is perfect. Great location, room, staff is very polite and has been a perfect experience both times I have had the pleasure.

Spent one night while visiting family. The room and hotel were great. I liked the security of needing a room key to operate the elevator and liked the underground parking. My only complaint is the mattress pad, which was plastic on one side, which made it warm and crinkly. My husband and I arrived at check-in time and our room was ready. Mike at the front desk was super friendly, very helpful, and genuinely personable. The room was very clean and the bed was VERY comfortable. The room was pleasantly cool in such warm weather. We got a great night's sleep and were pleased with the location. The only thing that bothered me was that i had asked for a fridge for my room and they said they were bringing it up but it never came and when asked about it, they said they were out.....

Over all, service was good. Staff were well trained and courtious. All-in-all the room was nice and the bed was great. Our only disapointment was the conditon of the bathroom. Attention to detail showed evidence of the previous guests and the cleaning staff could not understand english when I asked for a DO NOT DISTURB sign. I checked in late and left early but the hotel was in good shape and the staff was helpful. We didn't encounter any problems and I'd stay again.

I can't believe you have to pay $15.00 for the continental breakfast. since when did Hoilday Inn Express start doing that. This is why I stay there. As far as the hotel, great location and nice rooms. Clean and satisfied. Just Hungry

Although there was nothing stellar about this hotel, for my recent trip to LA, the location, combined with the price, (and taking into account the reviews) made it a good choice for us. I was there with my daughter visiting colleges, and the location was convenient enough a couple blocks from the 101, so no more than 20 minutes to Pepperdine, UCLA, […] and USC, that we decided to stay there for two nights while visiting these places. It was much less expensive than anything with three or more stars that we were able to find further south. The room was clean. The TV was an older CRT, but that doesn't really matter to me. The beds were comfortable, and the AC worked well. When we arrived, the parking lot was full. There was some sort of event going on, but they let me stay in the check in space, so that wasn't a problem. The restaurant is hidden around the corner from the lobby, and is small. They had a breakfast buffet which was average, but you could order off the menu also. Prices were reasonable. We didn't eat any other meals there. There isn't much within walking distance, but there is a good bbq place across the street, and a liquor store. Anything else would probably be a short drive. The room was extremely small. The shower head would not stay up it kept falling down. The wallpaper was peeling in some spots. The light would flicker on and off. This was a Wednesday night after 12 During the night you could hear everything going on in the hall.
