The staff were very accommodating, the Airport shuttle service was very convenient and the room was excellent. Comfortable beds. The pool and hot tubs looked fun though I didn't get a chance to try it. My only complaint is that the hallways reeked of smoke. It was overwhelming really and I was worried about the room. The rooms were fine however, no […] smell of smoke. Every time I entered the hotel the smell in the hallway bothered me though I was fine when I stayed in the room. I would stay there again. The initial appearance at entering the lobby is drab and dingy. The pool area the most UN-inviting pool of any hotel I have ever been in..although it was an amenity I requested in my stay search, I did not use it. But the real stickler was after I turned out the lights and pulled the sheet over my face - something was rough. At turning the light back […] on and investigating I found a fairly large patch of something dried onto the sheet. It appeared to be nasal mucus...very gross. There was some kind of construction - sawing and hammering that woke me before 8am which since I did not check in until about 2am this was not appreciated. Then housekeeping began knocking loudly on all the doors and held a loud conversation right outside my dood, even though I had the "DO NOT DISTURB" card on my door. Although the dest clerk apologized, it was a dry, uncaring apology and offered nothing to make any kind of amends. I did not chance the continental breakfast and left very dissatisfied. This was the worst hotel experience I have had. The room was not clean. There we crumbs and dust on the tables and the toilet was unflushed. The disturbing part was that the beds were made. Clearly the staff intended for the guests to assume the room was clean when it wasn't. We were moved to another room which did not have fridge & stove (which we […] paid for). The front desk was nice and apologetic, moved the appliances into our room. After a short swim in a foggy looking pool, took a shower. The tub had streaks of dark dirt afterward from the pool. The pool area had a glass roof with several cracks in it. There was water dripping in everywhere you looked. I am not a picky person, please do not mistake this for an unfair review. I was very pleased with the service, the location, and the cleanliness of this hotel. I would definately stay there again.

The staff was freindly and we had good service. But the hotel itself is in need of some repairs.

Very tired hotel. Stains on the chairs and carpets, rust on the facuets and limited restraunt services.

Although this hotel is older, we have often stayed there because it was cheaper and always seems to be clean. This time our room had large stains on the ceiling and there were stains on the sheets. This hotel is comparable to others in it's price range but it does not provide a continental breakfast. I think next time this will not be my first choice of hotel.

The only complaint that I have was the internet connection was horrible. Tried the public computer at the hotel, but come to find out you have to be an employee of the motel to get on the internet. Now I have stayed at some not so nice motels in Grand Forks but they all offered internet access on a public computer.

The hotel was in pretty poor shape, the pool was closed for renovations but they don't tell you that when booking and the whole hotel smelled strongly of paint. The ice maker on our floor was really loud and I'm glad my room wasn't close to that.

However feel it's worth mentioning ss I checked in the clerk could have cared less that I a paying customer was even there! His name tag was Ian not very friendly and was more interested in visiting with co worker! it's sad for you that I remember my visit that way, I'm not sure that's how your company deserves to be represented. I know I wouldn't. […] The morning the check out gal did a great job! But in your training program please stress how important that eye contact is, and be welcoming that's what people will recall. Good beds, clean. Hallways smelled of old cigarette smoke. Room did not smell. Inexpensive and close to UND.

Dirty room, stains on bedding & carpet dirty. Got another room, not much better. We used to stay there years ago & it was nice. No more.

In dire need of renovations.

I realize the hotel has aged, however no up keep in the pool area, or stair wells and no security on the doors. We didn't feel comfortable staying there.

was very impressed with this ramada in grand forks, have stayed at the ramada in minneapolis and was disappointed, but was very impressed with this one, the cleanliness, the friendliness, location all was good would recommend and will stay here again....

Hotel was pricey for what it was. Clean but very dated. Had a non-smoking room but smelled of smoke. Only way to avoid the smell was to have the ac unit on which was so loud I couldn't sleep.

i usually stay at this location when visiting the GF's area. The pool was clear water, but this time the attached hot tub was not very tempting. The water was murky and very discolored. First time i have an issue with anything at the hotel, hopefully it will be clean next time i stay so i can actually use it (which is one of the main reasons why i book […] there in the first place). All entrances other than the lobby entrance were very dirty and smelly. Very strong odour, had to hold our breaths till we reached the room. Staff was very helpful

Room and beds comfy, but entry ways and hallways/doorways very dingy, dark and dated. Nice and quiet for the most part. Would stay there again.

We stay at the Ramada because we love the hot tub connected to the pool. We arrived at the hotel on Monday afternoon and enjoyed the pool very much. On Tuesday we went shopping and returned to the hotel to enjoy the pool and hot tub...but...the pool was closed. We were told that it would be opened in a couple of hours. This did not happen. I would recommend this motel to anyone. Great place, clean, great service, in house restaurant and lounge. Easy access off the Interstate and ample parking.

I really dont like having to ask for a fridge and microwave. We asked for a microwave but it seemed to short out on us, we were afraid to use it. We didn't bother asking for a fridge. These things are just expected. The air conditioner was too loud, we had difficulty sleeping. The pool was way too warm. The workers were friendly.

Hotel room was nice. The pool and hot tub were experiencing problems but the management listened to our concerns and took care of the problem. I will be staying there again in the future. I'm sure the problems will be resolved and we can enjoy the pool and hot tub again.

Good for the price.

no recomend to go to the pool, my son got eye irritation from to much chlorine i think they need to adress that problem, and the air conditioning not that great to!!!

the ramada Inn in GRand Forks ND. even though we were in the no smoking section it had a bad smell in the hallways. should have continental breakfasts not have to pay for it. great to have a hair dryer, iron and iron board. the pool looked cloudy. air conditioner worked well.

One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was because it has a restaurant on site. We arrived on July 4th and it was closed. We went the next day and waited but didn't receive help to get seated. We finally decided to go to the bar area to grab a burger but after a 10 minute wait we were told we had to leave because our son was under 21. The pool was a lot of fun and the bed was the most comfortable I've ever experienced!

Non smoking room reeked of smoke. Pool was way over chlorinated. Took all the colour out of our daughter's bathing suit. Both kids had red eyes when they were done. Will never stay here again.

We had a nice clean room with a lot of space. It was comfotable to stay in, and clean. The pool is nice and the overall experience was great!

Service was great, can't beat the price! We would stay there again for sure. Very clean.

The rooms were too hot and the party around the pool went on till 1:30am. When we went to the front desk to complain they said there was nothing they could do.

Very nice hotel with great service. Highly recommended.
