the hotel is about 10 minutes walk from Shinjuku station. Arrive and depart via the Limo Bus from both Narita and Haneda airport. If I were staying in Shinjuku for only a day then Keio is acceptable. However, I wouldn't stay here again next time if my stay exceeds 2 nights in Tokyo.

Room sizes are bigger than typical Japanese hotels owing perhaps to its age. Age unfortunately also shows in its interiors including duct tape on escalators, worn out carpets and dated furniture. Cigarette smoke stinks up the hallways but the rooms we stayed at were thankfully spared. Location is very good with a touch of the Shinjuku buzz. Good eating […] places in the hotel and all around. A convenience store inside the hotel instead of vending machines is a nice touch. Shinjuku train station is a good walking distance away yet too close for a cab drive. Though cab ride is a must if tugging luggage. Hotel bus pick ups for tours, amusement parks and airport transfers is very convenient and efficiently organized. Best to book ahead. A huge hotel with a village inside. It was a great place to start our stay in Tokyo. I'd opt for something smaller, with more intimacy next time, but this was a great way to enter a new culture with all of the comforts of home.

They upgraded us to a premier room and it was big, the room and toilet were clean, comfortable bed and the view of tmg from our 37th floor was fantastic.

Nice hotel but definitely felt like high volume versus personalized service. They charged me a tax when I arrive, which was surprising since I thought I paid for the entire stay on hotels.com. No wifi, just high speed connection which made working with associates and in lobby impossible. You will be far better served and happier staying at one the hotels right next to this hotel. The Hilton and the Hyatt a good examples. You may be tempted to stay here instead because it appears less expensive, by the time they are done with you it will be the same or more. Really nice hotel not far from the train station. Rooms were great, nice and clean and larger than the standard Japanese hotel rooms, staff were wonderful and nothing was a problem for them. Only downside is that it is a little far away from major attractions, but the public transport system is fantastic so not a major issue for us.

The rooms and service were great. Only issue was restaurant food was under average for Tokyo, and extremely expensive, way too expensive for the quality. DO NOT try the dinner buffet, it was terrible and about 70 USD a piece. Internet was slow, could not Skype with friends due to this. The staff are exceptional - very polite. We were offered an upgrade and a late checkout which was very welcome. The hotel has the option to purchase an extension to the normal checkout time of 11am, at a very reasonable rate, which is a great idea for late night airport departures. We were very happy with our Premier Plaza room. It was spacious, modern, and offered a great view. The hotel is brilliantly situated close to the Shinjuku Station and it was perfect for our needs.

The wifi device were not provided for in our hotel room though it was indicated in our booking confirmation that complimentary wire Internet access is included. Very Large hotel. big sized rooms, but the overall cost was way to high for similar rooms in Tokyo. The nice thing about Japan is even the small cheap hotels are always clean and kept well, so you can save some coin and get a bit smaller of a place.

Beautiful hotel. Staff were friendly. Our room was quite large. Great view of the city. Very close to Shinjuku station. We would pick this hotel again.

Very pleasant trip. The hotel locate in shinjuku which is very convinient in dining and shopping and business. The downstairs subway station connect between shinjuku business centre, ginza as well as 六本目. Extremely convinient to my business trip. Room with city hall view clean and comfortable. I will recommend this hotel without doubt.

The hotel was in an excellent location. We stayed in the South Tower. Unfortunately the room decor is very dated and needs to be renovated. However it was very clean and comfortable and reasonably priced.

Good location. We stayed in a premier room which had great facilities and was very spacious. We didn't take the breakfast package as there are many eateries within 5 mins walk. Great access to station.

I was only able to access to wifi on my 3rd day stay. Because of limited wifi available. Based on first come first serve. Very frustrating.

Wonderful hotel, professional staff, large room. We were delighted with everything from the initial check in to the bar service and views, to the check out. The staff takes pride in their hotel and it shows. Definitely coming back on our next trip to Tokyo!

An American Perspective: I know a lot of Americans who travel to Japan and are a bit put off by the smaller rooms, and issues with the Language. You'll find none of that here- the Plaza Premier was a very good size room, with seats, table and couch- and a nice big desk. The Keio is only a few blocks west of the Shinjuku station, and a tunnel leads from […] the station right to the Hotel! (just look up at the signs for the Gov't building) Skip the breakfast buffet ($30USD) and walk 60 feet toward the station for a reasonable coffee shop. Lunch on a budget is less then two blocks away with Ramen Shops (like the RingerHut) offering huge bowls of seafood ramen for $6USD. There are several Sushi-go-rounds as well- all under $20USD for a lunch depending on how much you eat. All rooms have fridges- put them to good use! There is a shop in the lower level that sells everything from Beer to Snacks to Magazines. Beer there is 230 Yen, in your mini bar its 630 Yen- so stock up there or at Lawson's one block East. Free Coffee and Tea are great- Coffee is 800 Yen at the Jurin shop on the first floor! **The ATM there does not take foreign cards, so go one block East to the post office, and there is a bank on the second floor with an International ATM. Every staff member spoke at least English and Japanese, with many speaking Cantonese, Mandarin and various Euro languages as well. Everyone was fantastic, and every need was met. Rooms not refurbished is not nearly as nice as those that are. Very limited variety in minibar. Very small television.
