Excellent except parking fee was outrageous

The stay was good. Room was clean and in good shape. A few things that we found funny was that there wasn't any free WI-Fi in our room. Also there was no cable TV. Also there was no fridge in the room and safe. I guess it really didn't matter since you don't spend a lot of time in your room.

Close to location of my appointment that I came to town for. Great restaurants in the surrounding are and close to the staples center and Nokia theater.

The hotel was nice. But for the hotel category that it is, I expected a lot more. I was turned off to see plastic cups is what they offer for their guest to use. In room coffee maker & coffee is nothing special. I've stayed at 3star hotels that offered glasses not plastic cups! Their bathrooms needs updating too. Bed is comfortable, room size is adequate. […] We only stayed overnight and this provided us what we needed, a place to sleep. It is connected to the mall so that was convenient since we needed to buy a shirt for my grandson. Starbucks is offered on site which we found out a bit too late, after asking a staff where to get starbucks coffee, we were pointed to a starbucks coffee shop a block away from the hotel. Hotel is okay, not very special. Airco and elevators are loud, bedding is okay.

nice clean hotel, first floor connects to Macys and shops, food good but no room service available when we stayed which forced us to go out everytime. Bewarw taxi from airport according to legal fares $40 but we were charged well over $60. Otherwise, good location, cannot walk to LA LIVE but cab ride $8 takes only 5 min.

Although this hotel ended up working out, but I was really disappointed with our initial experience. We arrived at the hotel around 4:15pm and although check-in is at 3pm our room was not ready. We had an event to attend, and this was the reason we selected the hotel for its close by location, so this put a cramp in plans. What i was more disappointed […] about was the hotel clerk's reaction to our room not being ready. He offered no apology, no explanation, and really nothing much helpful at all. I asked a few clarifying questions and it was like pulling teeth! After learning our room could take over an hour to be ready, I asked if there was anything the hotel could offer in way of compensation, since at that point we would not have time to check-in and get ready for our event as planned. The clerk's response was "Well what do you want?" and pulled out a voucher. Had I been smart I would have asked for a free night, but settled for breakfast. I am in customer service and not one to complain or ask for things, and had he sincerely apologize, I would have just taken it at that! They did call my cell when the room was ready, about 5pm and were cordial from there on out, but it was just a disappointing start. Great hotel. Close to the Staples Center. There was a Macy's connected to the hotel as well as several restaurants downstairs. We were very pleased with our stay.

We were in L.A. for a wedding and found this hotel as a convenient location, and within walking distance of several places to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner.(Breakfast too expensive at the Sheriton!) Heater didn't work and they didn't come to look at it like they promised!!!!!

Although this property is getting a bit tired, my stay was excellent. The staff was super-attentive and helpful, and the central location fit perfecty with where I needed to be. The first time ever staying downtown where I could actually walk to every location I needed to be. And, although my check-in wait was only 5 minutes, they cut the valet parking […] bill for the stay in half as a comp. great hotel, sucks you have to pay $28 dollars a night to park, luckily the man working the front desk helped me out with that and gave me a pass since i had paid $15 the day before and was going to have to pay $28 to leave, so that was great

I was going to go out in the area and decided to book a room near by, i picked this hotel since the rates were the lowest, UNTIL! I found out about the Pricy over night parking $28 if i remeber correctly, other than that it was a pleasant stay they have a Ballys right by the lobby which i think was pretty cool and its a $7 taxi ride to LA live.

Super comfortable bed and pretty clean room. Our room was next to the elevator so it sounded like a train was passing every 10 minutes. Also, I used the Bally's across from the hotel. It was very convenient but the gym was a mess. No tp anytime I went to the restroom. The weights were all over the place and I spent a lot of time looking for stuff.

I had a great 4 night stay at the Sheraton downtown.. all the staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. I asked the front desk for a street map, which they had, and even printed out a map of the bus I was looking for. Very nice to have internet in the lobby too. The building has central AC and it does not work well. I went there during the middle of winter and still had to use an AC. I had to request a fan, but it was v inconvenient. The mgmt made no effort to resolve the problem. Parking is a pain too. Perhaps using the parking on the outside is better and cheaper.

The hotel is ok but one day didn't clean up.

I was in L.A. for a trade show and from the moment i stepped to the front desk to the time i left, I felt like the staff at the Sheraton was there to make my stay easy and comfortable. Thank you!

thanks Sheraton! staff was ultra-friendly and accomodating. it was a short visit but it was enjoyable. it was close to all the cool spots.

We booked for a two queen room and end up with a king room. They charged the parking 34 dollars a nigh. The internet was not free??

I've stayed at more expensive hotels in downtown la, the Sheraton is my new la home.***** service all the way.

Each encounter I had with front desk, the employees were extremely rude. You cannot get room service until AFTER 5 pm....During the time period of 2 pm to 4 pm you cannot get food anywhere on the property, bar and restaurant are closed, so they sent us to a food court in the adjoining mini mall, where homeless people were sleeping all over the tables. […] A homeless person approached us in the lobby at 8 30 am on Monday morning for "change" The area around the hotel, didn't feel safe to be walking in, which isn't surprising, however it seemed mandatory to venture out, if we wanted to eat between 2-4 pm. This hotel is connected to a mall. You have to park on the 4th story of the garage, take an elevator down into Macy's, and enter the hotel through the mall. If the mall is closed, you have to take the elevator to a different floor and walk back up to the hotel elevators via stairs. The Lobby elevators run past 11pm. The first floor/ground elevators […] do not. So you have to down an extra level to use the elevators after 11pm. If you are handicapped or have a baby stroller or heavy rolling suitcase DO NOT STAY HERE. This place has NO ramps or accommodations for such situations. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Great location, downtown and close to Staple Center as well as Dodger Stadium. Overall noce place, but very expensive for parking $28 a night for park yourself and $32 for Valet. Also, they charge you $12.95 per night for internet (normally included in most places). Very nice staff however...

Very happy with our stay. Close to nice restaurants. Excellent valets.

This hotel was great, my wife and I only stayed for two nights but they were delightful. There is a bar, gift shop and coffee shop on the lobby, it is attached to a Macy's and other shops and there is also a food court so everything you might need you can walk to without leaving the complex. BEWARE THEY CHARGE YOU $28 DOLLARS TO PARK YOUR CAR IN HOTELS GARAGE or Valet Park for $32 dollars. Best Bet Park your Car on Across Street behind building for $5. To high if traveling for Leisure. Otherwise Good Hotel, Clean, Nice Hotel, Great Views of City, Food Places within walking distance

We decided to get a room so we wouldn't have to drive home after a concert at the Staples Center. The location was perfect, we even received an upgrade to a suite because I was a Sheraton member. We felt safe walking around and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the guy even warned us that the suite was close to the elevator […] and we would hear some noise. Hotel was nice. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Drinks at happy hour were pricey as was the parking which bummed me out. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Downstairs bathroom was nice because I had multiple guests staying in one room. When we asked very more towels and blankets they were quick to bring them. And none of my expensive belongings […] were stolen. Overall I was happy. I would only stay there again if I was getting the hotels.com price though. Otherwise very pricey. This hotel provides not good service. The room inside got some problems but their reaction is slow. The front desk is not helpful and explains their hotel policy not clearly. I 'm not suggesting this hotel.

I feel let down by this Sheraton. I don't think it is quite up to par for a 4 star hotel. Pros - Staff was very polite, hotel is located in a nice area with plenty of shops and restaurants. Cons - No fridge, broken closet doors, no garbage bags, and the room was not organized; magazines were left scattered about, there was no hotel directory.

We checked in really late so there were no more King rooms left. However, we were able to switch rooms the next day at check-in time. The rooms were very comfortable except for the cool draft in room due to inability to regulate your own room temperature. With one mild complaint to guest services, the maintenance man provided us with an electric heater […] for the remainder of our stay. We used self parking - cheaper. the room wasn't clean, extremely high priced food service (i paid 30$ for an omellete!) , bad neighborhood with beggars stalking the place. all in all, avoid it if you want to make your stay in LA comfortable.

We only stayed one night, however, the staff were extremely helpful, and friendly. We were allowed to check-in early, and they granted us a quiet room as requested. As far as the location goes, it's in the financial district, however the metro is located across the road from the hotel, and it's approx. 10 mins ride to downtown LA. There are some interesting […] characters on the metro, however they are harmless. Taxis are readily available as an alternative means of travel. Finally, you have direct access to Macy's department store from the hotel, amongst other shops, and a large gym.. what more can you ask for? Highly recommended. Prime location downtown with lots to see and do nearby. Excellent service and help from all staff (bellhop, front desk, room service etc..) Great rooms with comfortable beds, flat screen tvs, Starbucks coffee, and gorgeous views of the downtown area! WILL STAY HERE AGAIN!

My hotel room was 1220. All night long I heard what sounded like elevators going up and down. About 4:00 a.m. fast beat, drum sounded noise occurred until about 10:00 a.m. I woke up with a terrible headache. This is a room that should not be given out.
