We stayed at Sheraton Salzburg for one night, in general, the hotel was good up to the standard but the room is not new but comfortable,the bathroom is good with full set of toiletteries.The staff at the hotel was helpful and offered us the cheaper price for breakfast which not included in the rooom rate, so we tried and it was good with varieties of […] food and beverages. This was the priciest hotel we stayed at in all of Austria and Czech Republic, but it was not the nicest. The bed was HUGE! Everything else seemed maintained but a bit aged. They were happy to help with dining suggestions and tour packages, but the best part of this hotel was it's location. A short walk to Old Town Salzburg, but the walk went straight […] through the Baroque Gardens. Beautiful. It was wonderful to have them so close and because you walked through them to start your day and get to where you were going and then again to end your day to get back to the hotel, it made for a nice start and end of the day. Very nice and comfortable hotel. The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. They provided us excellent directions for driving and recommendations for dinner. After one night we had trouble with the TV and since it was the weekend and no technician was available, they immediately moved us to another room. We ate in the Bistro one night […] and the food was very good. Breakfast was pricey so we ate at a cafe down the street. Excellent hotel with a great garden setting,

This is NOT a 5 star hotel even though it is priced as one. WAY OVERPRICED. The quality of the room, decor, linens, service and location are not of that level. The restaurant too was disappointing. There are many other better hotels in Salzburg that are in the same price range. We will not stay there again and do not recommend it.

Dont know when last time the hotel been renovated, the decor is definitely outdated for the price they charge. THere were cranks in the wash basin and bathtub in the room.

This hotel is very nice, clean and convenient to most sites in Salzburg. The only reason it gets a 4 in comfort is we had 2 twin beds and not 1 double. It would have gotten a 5 if we could shove the beds together!!

The location next to the Mirabell Gardens was the highlight of the stay. Everything else about the hotel was fine - just what one would expect from a Sheraton. One beef - there is no discount for hotel guest parking in the carpark below the hotel.

We have stayed at many Sheraton hotels worldwide over the last 30 years and this one rates the worst on customer service and room quality. You are treated like a number from the time you walk into the door. We were shoved into an invalids rooms - (5 star hospital bathroom with all the lifting gear and barricaded toilet to go with it) - very unromantic […] for a 30th wedding anniversary. The carpets were filthy. No complentary slippers supplied. Nothing to sit on other than the bed or 2 hard backed dining chairs. (Definately not the room we paid for). We complained about our room and the rude man at reception seemed more concerned about it not being his fault ("I didn't book you into there"), but didn't offer to do anything about it. We have never stayed in a 5 star hotel without a nightly turndown. They advertised free movie channels and pay per movie options - but neither were available. The bloke who parked our car parked it in one of several different parking levels but didn't say where - so it took us 10 minutes wandering around to find it. When we checked out and were asked if we enjoyed our stay, and we said no, she asked why didn't we do something about it......? we said we did complain but nothing was done by Sheraton ..... so she gave us a chocolate for all our troubles. Sheraton hotels as a rule are a great place to stay, but this one in Salzburg really don't care about their guests which is disappointing as were we so much looking forward to this stay. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Wonderful and friendly service. Having stayed here before, we were given a free upgrade to one of the newly renovated garden view rooms overlooking Mirable gardens. Pleasant surprises included daily bottles of water and chocolates left on the bed etc. The location is excellent... (outside the old town but well inside the inner city).. the walk across […] to the old town provides one of the best views of Salzburg and takes a leisurely 10 minutes. Parking is also relatively very cheap especially if you are staying for a week.. they had a weekly parking offer for around 72 euros, or a daily parking fee of around 15 euro's. Like most 5 star hotels in Europe, the quality is more like a 4 or 4.5 star hotel, but nonetheless i wouldnt even consider staying elsewhere on our next visit, and i doubt that you can find a better valued hotel in Salzburg. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Nice hotel, great location. Very helpful staff who had a lot more charm that most hotels

We stayed at this hotel from 8 to 12 June 2011. We were pleasantly surprised at the competitive rate for this hotel which offered four nights for the price of three. I could understand why breakfast was not included at this good rate, although it was included in a similarly priced hotel in Prague and Vienna. However, we could not understand why a hotel […] such as this would not include free Wi Fi like the other hotels we had stayed in Vienna and Prague. It was also disappointing not to have blackout curtains. We tries breakfast one morning but it was only average foe the 25 euro per person cost. We had arranged this at check-in but the head witress on 9 June did not appear to k ow Nd told us loudly that breakfast was not included. Talk about not feeling welcome! Great hotel staff, first-rate (if not the largest) room and fixtures, a short walk from the old inner city and all major sights in Salzburg. The neighborhood doesn't have the best selection of restaurants, but a 5-10 min walk gets you to several different neighborhoods. My wife and I spent three nights at the hotel, even though it has a five star rating it is now getting due for a referb. In sayIng that the staff were great, it is also reasonably close to all the main attractions of Salzburg, If we return again we will have no problems about staying again.

The service here was amazing - friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. Free internet at the business center is a rare find in a high quality hotel so that was terrific. The Piano Bar is a terrific way to sit inside if you catch a rainy day, which does happen in Salzburg, but still feel close to the outdoors because there are beautiful windows and warm lighting. […] You walk around back and are literally in the Mirabell Gardens, and a short walk to the best breakfast cafe at the Mozart House. The walk to the Altstadt - is across a bridge and to get to the heart of it all you have about a 7-10 minute walk. Lovely when the weather is nice, a little annoying when it's not. There is a fantastic Indian restaurant about 15 minutes walk - Taj Mahal. And a few other places, but the best local restaurants are across the bridges. My room, while large and spacious, was 3-4 star in quality - definitely not a 5 star quality room. However, the room was clean and comfortable, but definitely showed signs of age. Staff was helpful and parking is convenient (right under the hotel). The hotel is right behind the Mirabell Gardens, and close to major attractions. Next to Mirabel Gardens (as in the Sound of Music). Concierge service was terrific. Try Fingeros cafe 2 blocks from hotel for great pastries. Hotel is about 5 blocks from the main square. However, hotels in the main square are not near as nice. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The room was big and comfortable (especially the beds - very good) but it was outdated. The bathrooms need a remodel but they were clean. Service was good and the location was great, right next to a park. This is a big hotel in a good location with a nice park next door, a little difficult to find the first time via rental car due mainly to construction but also GPS did not know the little street of the address. Very Comfortable beds and pillows, Bathrooms are out of date but clean. Overall nice hotel with very good service.

Highly recommended for tourists or business travelers.

We knew we were going to be OK in a Sheraton :-) We were right!!!. The hotel was great, good location, nice room, we walked to the attractions and the staff was very friendly. Parking was not included and we had to pay for it. Breakfast was not included either.

This hotel was great. We booked for three people and were worried about having an acceptable room. The staff at the Sheraton had the room ready with three twin beds and everything was exactly as we had asked. The rates were great, the hotel was convenient to everything (right behind Mirabelle gardens), and the staff was so friendly and helpful! They […] loaned us an umbrella when it rained. They helped us find restaurants and attractions. They booked tours for us and hailed cabs for us with a smile and excitement. Hands down, this hotel is the best! Breakfast wasn't included, but it was available. There are also cafes very close for a quick bite and free wifi. After staying in 6 other cities (and at 4star hotels), during our Europe trip, this hotel was by-far the best one! The personnel were overly accomodating and the room was more than we expected! Das Hotel liegt direkt nebem dem Schloss Mirabell und ist nur wenige Gehminuten von der Altstadt entfernt. DIe Zimmer und der Service waren Top, auch das zusätzliche Frühstückbuffet (jedoch etwas teuer --> zwischen 25 und 30 Euro pro Person) war sehr reichhaltig und schmackhaft.

ﾎﾃﾙ、フロントのサービスは至って普通でしたが、ﾊﾞｽルームがリニューアルしたばかりなのか、とても清潔。ミラベル公園の続きにあり、街歩きには便利な場所でした。特に定期観光バスの集合場所に近いのが良かったです。

Vankka perushotelli, huippusijainti konserttien ja teatterin harrastajille. 80-luvun luksus on haalistunut nostalgiapuolelle, mutta Executive-huoneet ovat ylellisen kokoisia ja mukavia. Kätevä parkki.

Es war unser 1. Aufenthalt im Sheraton Salzburg; wir fanden ein Hotel vor, das sich trotz der Zugehörigkeit zu einer großen Kette die Gemütlichkeit und den Flair eines privaten Hotels erhalten hat.
